21  Economy / Speculation / Re: The June is coming and the market will boom up from that on: June 03, 2018, 12:59:19 PM
Hello everyone
You all are worried about the price of bitcoin that why it is not increasing in value and you forgot the previous two years. In the previous two years we saw a situation that from the month of January to May the price was near to stability stable and with slow move and then after the month of June the price started to increase and it doubled up much faster and multiplied many times. It is sure that we saw a situation in the previous two years then we will also see it in this year. So get ready as the train will start within a few days.

What does the time of the year have anything to do with bulls/bears? And why should years be identical in movement? This space thrives in a mixture of fomo, massive shilling and last but not least (and the most important part): actual technological and adoption breakthroughs.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why shouldn’t we be concerned? on: June 03, 2018, 12:51:39 PM
Why shouldn’t we be concerned? Seems like everyone on here is extremely confident will see a bounce back to the December highs and then surpass them, but this dip/crash is now 5 months long. So I’m curious as to why so many of you are confident?

Didn't really read the other replies, but probably someone else in the thread has told you the same thing: look at the overall picture. Lightning is coming into play, scaling will be less of an issue. Adoption, albeit slow, is happening daily. And the 9 year graph can show you exactly where bitcoin is going. Can't say we're not gonna have another bearish year and that everyone will be making money like december, but all the signs point towards growth. All of 'em.

I use this website to check on new bounties: http://bountiesalert.com/. Provides a plethora of information and links to the most important stuff that needs to be checked before joining a campaign: team and project potential. They also tell you the stakes distribution per rank and other such (quite) important info.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What made you Invest into Crypto Currency on: June 03, 2018, 12:25:47 PM
First contact with crypto I had was back in 2014. Honestly - and this is why I understand skepticism coming from poorly informed people - I thought that bitcoin was a ponzi (wasn't even aware about altcoins). Somehow convinced my cousin to sell his decent btc stash after it had grown significantly. That was poor judgement, pretty safe to say.

Mid 2017, had a bunch of friends that told me to get into crypto, balls to the wall. Started reading more and more, learned a lot. Mostly from mistakes. Got into mining because it was "cool". Could've made a lot more money by just buying coins. Live and learn. I've also adopted a healthy view on the matter of profit and losses: as long as I'm ahead on my initial investment, I do not regret my decisions. No matter how many times over I could've made profit on certain investments.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ⚡ Dock.io - Decentralised Professional Data Exchange Powered by ETH⚡ on: May 30, 2018, 07:18:19 PM
Through my follow-up to this project it turns out that the development team is delaying the distribution of the reward campaign and each time it is announced that the distribution will be next week while the price is in constant descent and this kind of monument and they are each time new laws are updated
Warning: It looks like this ico is faking their members. Try not to trust this scam.

Can confirm. They are banning people everywhere questions are being asked. Got in contact with some bounty participants and every one of us got banned either from reddit or telegram. Some both. They're claiming they've sped up distribution, while some days they're sending out tokens maybe 2-3 times/hour. We've been waiting for 5 months for our pay and they're treating us like dirt. Don't think it's a scam per-se, but it sure feels so for us bounty folk.

27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which Exchange do you all recommend? on: May 28, 2018, 06:10:02 PM
You should try Changelly. It is a unique exchange in which you don’t actually need to deposit coins. You simply tell Changelly which coin you want to buy, and how much of it you want to buy. Changelly will then tell you how much of the coin you are buying with to send.

Yeah, no thanks. Tried their exchange and was asked to do kyc AFTER I'd sent the money. That's scummy behavior, to put it mildly. So no, I wouldn't recommend dealing with these people, there are other more viable options.
28  Economy / Economics / Re: Speculation on BTC on: May 28, 2018, 04:54:56 PM
Trusting people from the btc foundation to make price predictions for bitcoin is like trusting a priest on news from god. I am honestly taking everything into consideration, and no matter how optimistic I am, I can't make a prediction like that. What I can tell you is that these huge swings show one things: absolutely nobody knows where bitcoin is going. We don't even know if we can take it to mainstream use. We're certainly trying, but I think price predictions without a proper explanation as to why it would be going in any direction is useless and childish. Why 10,000? Why 100,000? What are these figures based on?
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are there so many assholes in ICO industry? on: May 28, 2018, 04:48:26 PM
This is, unfortunately, a space in which being an asshole is predominantly favorable towards your goals. I can give you examples like Ver (bitcoin.com), Ayre (coingeek) or Wright (nchain, aka faketoshi), but I feel that would be cheating.
30  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Roger Ver to be sued for defrauding bitcoin newbies. on: May 28, 2018, 04:28:46 PM
Unfortunately, this won't be going anywhere. These people need to be fought with their own techniques, not in courts. Otherwise we're no better than Faketoshi and his blockchain patents. Anyways, the point is that we need to play their game. We need to a collective effort to show everyone (truthfully) why bitcoin cash is a scam and why the people behind it are frauds. Suing people over stuff like this kinda goes against the spirit of crypto.
31  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the Cryptocurrency Market Is Falling on: May 28, 2018, 03:33:49 PM
That's cause, crypto, overall, is still vaporware. Many people put money into seemingly great ideas only to lose more than half of it. The memory of the roller coaster is still fresh for most. The market is also incredibly easy to manipulate. I don't think the next serious bull run will happen until we get rid of the vaporware stuff and create actual usecases and implementations for serious projects with professional teams. As of now, crypto is still almost entirely speculative.
32  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOLDER's FATE on: May 28, 2018, 03:15:27 PM
Holding turned out to be bad after January, no more holding.

That's cause you're not meant to be a perma-holder. If you look at crypto stuff daily and this kind of drops are tough to bear, you need to recognize the market waves and adjust accordingly. It was quite clear, at least for me, that there would be a crash soon when we reached 800 billions mcap. That's why I cashed out everything I had when eth was 1400.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]⚡⚡⚡ Dock.io - Decentralized Data Exchange Protocol w/ Live Beta App⚡⚡⚡ on: May 28, 2018, 02:40:22 PM
Extremely disappointed with these people. They are master manipulators and liars. Keep telling people they'll get their money, day after day, week after week. I participated in the signature bounty campaign and I've yet to receive pay. They keep delaying and using fake excuses like it's for own good, protecting against scammers etc. I'd suggest avoiding these people and their project AT ALL costs.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I invest only in ICOs on: May 28, 2018, 10:28:45 AM
Investing almost exclusively in ICOs is, at least imo, pure gambling. Unless you're lucky enough to get into something like ICON (tbf, there are clear signs pointing out the hype and the potential), you might get stuck into a shitty position. Timing the the bears and bulls is also of paramount importance. An ico with the potential to go x10 in bullruns, might be stuck with its ico price in a bearrun.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EOS recovering and up, mainnet coming soon on: May 26, 2018, 02:12:25 PM
Don't you think mainnet is already priced and current Eos market cap is overvalued? It is somewhat near to Ripple or Bitcoin Cash. I do not find that realistic to be high price even before mainnet. There is no logic in the market anyway
The logic is buy the rumor, sell the news. Since the rumor has been bought for a whole year, the only logical followup would be a significant dump after the launch. Many people are put off by their ico style, but I quite frankly like it. If they put some of the massive amounts of money they got in the ico towards creating something akin to the ethereum enterprise alliance, I wouldn't say it's that overvalued. Might even give eth a run for its money.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XEM should I keep ? on: May 26, 2018, 02:07:42 PM
Can anyone give me a rundown on why this coin has somewhat maintained its spot and even experienced periods of large growth based seemingly on nothing? I've not seen it being promoted in any way, I saw it maybe a couple times in the spotlight, but that's it. What's it got over others?
37  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Please help me on: May 24, 2018, 10:57:50 AM
You have poor english skills and seemingly no experience in the space. No offense, but do you think someone will take you seriously? And what makes your idea stand out? You should know that great ideas without a network of professionals providing the means to implement and promote them, are basically worth 0. What you are looking into creating without the proper knowledge will surely suffer from serious security flaws. Which spell doom in this space at the first sign of emergence, especially for unknown projects. I'd suggest trying something else.
38  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Gambling addiction and serious mental illness on: May 24, 2018, 08:13:52 AM
First of all, the right mindset to have when approaching crypto is, imo, "Que Sera, Sera". I know it's easier said than done, but look at it as if it were money you lost. I've lost my fair share in the crash, although I've only been toying around with crypto for a little over a year. Friend of mine got himself 1 btc at 10k$ (from a loan, no less) and lost quite a bit of it through day trading (attempting, actually). I find his mental health has deteriorated significantly since we got in the game. Started losing his hair. Won't listen to our advice. Quite sad, really.

You should be your own judge and realize when enough is enough. It doesn't take much to see that the path your going down on is not healthy, the fact that you posted here shows you're aware. Bring changes before it eats you. Have someone who loves you get you through it, if you feel you can't do it on your own.
39  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Useful Resources on: May 24, 2018, 07:56:45 AM
Got a couple more, one is a resource list (https://www.coiniverse.info/crypto-resources-megalist) and the other is basically the crypto version of netflix (https://cryptflix.com/). Fun and interactive to use for newbies.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoins to moon 10-20x in 2018 on: May 24, 2018, 07:49:04 AM
From the looks of it, 2018 is, at least halfway through, a bear year. Most likely 2019 as well. Unless something revolutionary were to happen (ie: mass adoption, tremendous ease of us and qol improvements, anything to bring back mass exposure like the end of 2017), I'm not seeing 20x happening easily on anything but pumped, unknown shitcoins. Neo seems to be a sleeping giant, though. But that's just my personal opinion.
