USD is the biggest currency used for illegal stuff. Online and offline. By a huge margin. Should we ban the USD? I'd argue that for governmental agencies it's easier to track bitcoin transaction than cash.

All members I have some some so i need to put in alt coins, but the thing is i need a better roi.. Once i invested in sia about 2500$ but now worth 360$ , i am very fed up.., So please give me a good advice whats the best roi coins , if i get return in 2018! End? I'd suggest you go with a more secure option, like btc or eth. Neo would be a little riskier, but still not too much. Investing in sia was a...bad decision, to say the least. Don't get me wrong, I like them. At best I would dualmine sia with eth. Buying it? Not anytime soon

SCAM ALERT ?? I do not think so. Bitconnect, Regalcoin are said scam but reality proves the opposite. I see complete information, clear roadmap. @Dasengineer has contributed or is deliberately rational type because he also has PundiX web prepared ICO. I will refer to this project more thoroughly. very interesting Man I just gave the proofs. What are talking about? Just follow my proffs and do your own research if you want. He mentioned project is from Japan. Check the people which is the team on website! I think any ICO project is capable of scam. I've invested in BitConnect, bought ICO Regalcoin and now it's Hextra. I see the profit of it. risky investment? Yes. Every ICO will have. I will learn more about this project Pretty sure this a second account from the op. Anyways, for those thinking about investing in BitConnect and the likes, think about how you're hurting the credibility of the system. We all want to be part of something great and make money along the way. This will hurt the potential of the network overall. Please, those legit people out there, do not invest in these schemes if you want blockchain to thrive.

let wait until the Chinese Communist meeting over. or announcement on crypto currency.
I don't think it really matters, as far as I know Binance is based in HK. Anyways, I'm really digging this exchange, even though I'm not a fan of centralized ones anymore. Great support, great interface, always adding coins based on popular demand...It's really hard not to like these guys. It's the only centralized exchange I'll ever use until we get something better.

The obvious choices would be ltc and eth (imo). Neo is also up there. But then there are other less known choices. One of my favorite newcomers is ZenCash. I invested quite a bit, looking to buy more to do some staking. Also SysCoin. Was on the ropes about vertcoin a few days ago and the fact that it jumped like crazy before I actually had the chance to buy depressed me a bit. Will be buying it soon though.

Don't expect that they will be online again, they ran and will never comeback. Your coins and funds there are completely lost. So if I were you forget those money of yours, if there someone whos to blame then its you. Cloud minings are fake and made to scam people.
I wouldn't say outright scams, but at the very least pyramid schemes. I've seen a lot of people that swear by genesis mining, only to find out that they live out of the referral bonuses. Maybe it's not that bad if you consider the fact that there's a pretty high chance that your investment is returned due to the potentially exponential growth bitcoin will benefit from, but then again, why wouldn't you just buy bitcoin? I think for a lot of people it's about getting into something new and exciting and being...unable to just sit back and wait.

Wow, Dash difficulty at 14.8 Mil now, I have a one D3 coming Nov 16 - 23 batch. ROI is gonna suck, $10 USD a day or so. That means about 200 days for ROI. Blehh, I got rekt.
14.8 Million?!?!?! Where are you getting THAT number? LMAO!! https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/dash-difficulty.html#3mIt's been at 10 mil for a while now. Anyways, I'm not as pessimistic as the other people here. I got a D3 in the september batch. Made a decent amount up till now, close to 1000$. I'm seeing the next couple months rather bleak, I don't think the D3 will make more than 300-350$/month. But at some point, dash will pick itself up and head on over to 600$. Probably because all coins will double next year. So I think in the long run, we're more than ok. ROI in less than 300 days like some people here are claiming.

Due to BTC hard fork, most altcoins are decreasing for weeks. After last forks, people think they can make money. I don't think it's possible this time, but that's not my point. While market cap remained constant, many people transferred altcoins into BTCs. Now my question is, do you believe this trend will go into reverse? I'm quite sure BTC decrease sharply after fork, but will altcoins increase or market cap decrease? Glad to hear your opinions!
This hardfork has been quite profitable for me, I'd say it depends on strategy more as that it rely's on up/down. You need movement in a market to make money, up and down both will do. Also got to snatch some coins that would else be to expensive. But for your question: - I believe that some coins might not fully recover - Think altcoin market cap will see some gains yes. Basically this. For example, before the last "crash" (china), doge was riding a high wave, sitting at 200 mil $ marketcap. It now sits at half that, even though most alts recovered, at the very least partially. Think hard about buying dips because they might not go up again, at least for a while.

If restarting the machine doesn't fix it, try hard reset (the little button near the ethernet port that you have to push with a pin). If that doesn't work either, backup your current firmware and flash a newer version, 1.0.0.7. If you still haven't fixed it by now it means you gotta power it off, take out the hashboard and have it sent to China. Or have someone fix it for you, but I dunno about that.

I used one when traveling because I knew about it and just wanted to try it. I already knew about the astoundingly high fees and for that reason I would never use it again. The fees are ridiculous, so I just used it for the experience, which wasn't bad.
Yet there aren't many people who know about Bitcoin and they need to cover their expenses somehow, it's not like they can do anything else. Otherwise I agree with the idea and I find Bitcoin ATMs very convenient, but as I said they should have reasonable fees. The one I used was around 15-20%.
The machine itself and the maintenance are quite costly. Add the fact that usage is rather low, those operating these machines need to cover their costs somehow and make their investment profitable. That being said, I'm not ok with 15-20% fee. That's outrageous. The only thing that can greatly lower fees is adoption on a larger scale.

ICO was just used in order to steal people's money rather than making a good token for it to become one digital coins out there in the market, they preferred a short time profit with bad motives rather than making a good and competitive coins that exert some hard works, efforts and investment into their project then make a profit on a good way without stealing or scamming people, they just making the image of the ICO worst to the eyes of the investors and planning to go for it. good and authentic ICO are very few and those people who invested to them are very lucky most likely because they gain and double their money.
There have been plenty of good ICOs, if you'd done your due diligence. Walton, Kyber, VeChain, ICON are just a few of 'em. I know which ICOs to go for, I never send these unheard of devs and scam artists any money. DYOR and you won't fail. Unless you get really unlucky on a long game, Tezos being the perfect example.

I hate all this talk about "x killer", whichever coin it might be. Even more so in the case of Ethereum. As of now, eth is unkillable with all its partnerships and strong team, bar some catastrophe or some incredibly innovative product that completely eclipses eth. I'm not seeing any catastrophes looming on the horizon, and - while QTUM si definitely a solid project that I am personally very fond of, it will never kill eth. The crypto world is rather small now, but it won't be like that forever. It will be big enough for all these projects to coexist. QTUM needs to identify its niche. Gunning for eth won't do it any good.

Iota is falling because it was a bad protocol , faulty chain and is not useful product. I think iota was rushed to the market without any testing of it's chain. There may be development in the future, but for now there is no value for it
And this is based on what? The mods on r/cryptocurrency that made a bot reply to every iota thread with bullshit so as to create fud? Give us proof. Give us big names that have analyzed IOTA and have concluded that it's a "bad protocol". If not, shush it. //just for the record, I don't hold any IOTA. I just hate teenagers causing coins to be dumped just so they could buy the dips.

So many people here showing BCC is legit with proof, Even if you search on Youtube you can find more videos on BCC is a true investment than the flipped argument. I personally will not be surprised if BCC takes over Ethereum in coming days.
This bullshit scam will collapse. And it's gonna collapse while most of you morons are at the bottom. You know, the pyramid. Keep going, it will be so satisfying to see you dingleberries cry everywhere. I'm not even gonna dignify an answer to the eth remark.

Hi All I have twelve S9's and this is the 3rd one to have a 'card' die !!! They are in a server room, temps low, fans fine. Live in UK and got totally confused on how to return to China or even whether it's worth it !! RANT OVER...lol bitmainwarranty.com has an USA spot in Colorado and a place in the Ukraine . Wait for links. https://bitmainwarranty.com/good luck Wait a sec...is this legit? I knew they had a facility in California, but I didn't know about Ukraine. The website is looking good, but I'm worried it might be a fraud...Has anyone from Europe actually sent boards here? Because I'd much rather send it to the country next to mine than have it go to China for 2 months.

Hmm...you haven't explained how the coin itself is a scam. Maybe those people with the sumoatm took pictures of some random devs to make themselves seem more legit. I dunno, I'm just saying. The coin itself doesn't seem like a classic pnd scam...Can someone else confirm or infirm op's story?

bitcoin is maintained by core developers, would Bitcoin die a natural death if the developers no longer exist? Or if they stop maintaining/developing/upgrading the system?
Do you think they are the only ones willing to work on such a revolutionary tech? Anyways, as long as we're talking about it, I'd like to see lukedashjr gone. Literal religious extremists should have nothing to do with bitcoin. Or any crypto for that matter.

//vorbesc de airdropuri aici.
Super.

One small piece of advice: if you have to ask the question "which coin to mine"...you probably shouldn't be mining unless you wanna learn through some potentially costly mistakes. Study the whole deal, assess your risk/reward ratio...basically study as much as you can otherwise you're gonna throw yourself into something due to fomo (the fear of missing out) and you'll very likely get burned.
