281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Accelerator Blockchain Technology in Business (UPDATE ON AIRDROP) on: October 22, 2017, 08:44:28 PM
I wasn't able to get it due to the being on submitting when entering the address. If I could get some now, that would be swell.
282  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Scam or Possible? on: October 22, 2017, 08:15:08 PM
I can tell you for sure that a scam is always obvious and shouldn't be thought about too much if anywhere in the advertisement they promise GUARANTEED returns. No one can guarantee you money in crypto.
283  Other / Meta / Re: suspicious private message received on: October 22, 2017, 08:04:26 PM
It's a phishing link. The site mimics bitcointalk and gives you a fake warning:
Session expired, Please login again.

You did good by reporting it. I hope people won't fall for this. There's going to be more of this shit since accounts are worth a lot of money these days.

The user octavarium is a hero member with over 500 posts, and he is the one that sent it.

Probably lost his account in a similar manner. Or sold. Who know. The bottom line is it's a scam.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MyEtherWallet Hacked on: October 22, 2017, 08:03:13 PM
There's nothing you can do. However, if I were you I'd wipe my computer clean or maybe have TRON script run (look it up on reddit) to search for possible keyloggers. MEW is as safe as it gets, the problem is on your end. From what I gather, since the people affected all seem to have KICK in common, I could imagine a scenario in which you visited a website for this ico that was fake. Or something along these lines. Happens more often than you think and it takes a great deal of care when dealing with these things.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What is best pool for mining MUE with d3? on: October 22, 2017, 07:57:38 PM
I'd suggest using a multipool and with the profits (preferably btc) buy mue. You can get more than by mining it this way.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Gold Price on: October 22, 2017, 07:52:51 PM
I have a feeling that due to the fact that the people behind it aren't as strong as Jihan, as in someone to dedicate resources to the network, it's gonna flop bigly. Plus another cat out of the bag is the fact that these douchebags have ALREADY forked at some point. Who the hell would trust these scammers? We saw a massive surge in Vertcoin, which is probably owed to those that realize bitcoin gold does not solve any problem, it creates even more.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next 100x-1000x coin? on: October 22, 2017, 07:49:17 PM
I'm very bullish on Zen, Sys, vert, ltc and neo. Some others too, but I'm feeling really good about these ones.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What is best pool for mining MUE with d3? on: October 22, 2017, 07:45:26 PM
Maybe you could explain what DOA is? Weminemue is a pretty decent pool, I guess.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: AUTHORSHIP TOKENS EXCHANGE? on: October 22, 2017, 07:42:57 PM
They still haven't sent mine. Heard a lot of people got shafted. Not too angry though, cause I didn't have that many and the price is lower than I expected. Heard about people with a couple thousand that should've come their way and didn't.
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 1 sat fee on: October 22, 2017, 07:38:11 PM
This is just an example but in this way works an acceleration. These free accelerator doesn't accept in fact transactions whose fee is 1 Sat/byte or 50 Sat/byte, the mining pool wants to get a piece of cake and not nuts as a reward.
That's not true... ViaBTC has a minimum of 10 sats/byte (or 0.0001 BTC/kB). 50 sats/byte is way more than required by ViaBTC:
Why does it say “Transaction does not exist”?
In the following cases, you may be told that your transaction does not exist:
1) Too low fee: We only provide accelerator services for those with at least 0.0001BTC/KB transaction fees;

confirmtx.com only seems to require that your transaction is UNDER 500 bytes... and they're accelerate it for free... I've no idea if their service actually works or not, I have no real way of confirming whether or not a transaction was confirmed because of their actions or just random luck. At least with ViaBTC you can see if the block your transaction was included in was mined by ViaBTC or not Tongue

Wow, wait does that work? The tx confirmation website. I'd heard about individuals providing this service, but I thought it was a scam since I didn't know that you can single out transactions to confirm. Thanks for the tip.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: October 22, 2017, 07:19:22 PM
I heard a rumor that Bitmain is planning to release D3++ (75 Gh/s) in December. What do you guys think about it?

Nah, no way. And anyways they wouldn't need to unless the competition comes up with something way more affordable and efficient. Who's gonna do that? Innosilicon? Yeah right. For now D3s are here to stay. Maybe a D3+, with some 20-25 max gh/s. Throwing 75 would be stupid considering they could sell tons more over the years.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: October 22, 2017, 07:39:24 AM

Looking ugly. Using this calc I get $21.59 per day now.

This is before the next equip dumps. Also, this is at 17.5gh and 12c kWh.

https://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/dash-mining-calculator/?h=17500&p=950.00&pc=0.12&pf=0.00&d=8264827.90405388&r=1.80147602&er=0.04741668&btcer=5932.68760000&hc=0.00

gonna be looking at 10 bucks a day soon.....this sucks.....

On a side note....is this now the strategy a person uses with Bitmain OVERCLOCKING their D3's and/or other equip?

Bitmain states: 17.5gh from 15gh.

You Ignore: 15gh original specs is what you run it at really.

Bitmain states: 19.2gh from 17.5gh.

You Ignore: 17.5gh original specs is what you run it at really.

Seems to be the trend, imho, Bitmain being "evil" and all Smiley

*currently barely keeping my D3 Bitmain spec'd at 17.5gh running at 16gh. Smiley

edit: perhaps there is a newer firmware patch I'm not aware of past the Sept date on mine?

The first batch was not overclocked. I'm getting really good temps on it and I don't have the perfect environment.
293  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to become a TRADER on: October 22, 2017, 07:16:49 AM
I've encountered many analysts coming over from stocks and getting absolutely destroyed. Trading analysis is incredibly valuable, but in these (still) early days of crypto, a teenager with too much time on his hand can easily make a decently marketcapped coin drop 10%. The market moves in great swings based on the slightest of rumors. TA is an important skill to have, but don't let that fool you into believing that you can have control over an erratic market.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡⛏️[ANN] Giga Watt: Best Home for your Mining. Starts today! on: October 22, 2017, 07:12:32 AM
Is it a scam? No, but it’s a business model that put early investors and customers at a loss to pay for company mistakes while they still make a profit.

Great post. And it is nice to see someone who finally understands what the words they use actually mean.
I don't mind people being upset or mad. I don't mind people calling out Gigawatt for poor service and confusing information.

I get irritated when people throw the word "scam" around. That word has a meaning that most people don't seem to understand.

Your post seems spot on to me.

Excuse me, but their "business model" is taking advantage of customers, lying and not upholding their agreement. How is that NOT a scam? I hope people get their money back somehow and then this scam crashes and burns.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin trading is very bad now. on: October 21, 2017, 05:01:01 PM
I'm trying to study the best alts to get into until the fork. It's the perfect time to buy these dips. Sys, neo, eth, ltc and a bunch others that are looking very appealing.
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shall I buy BTC now to get the free BTG? on: October 21, 2017, 04:45:29 PM
I think BTG will be a shittier shitcoin than BCH. I have a decent amount of btc, most of which I'm putting in decent alts that have been affected most by the raise in btc. It's easy money, arguably more and easier than waiting for the fork. And anyways, I don't wanna support a stupid shitcoin like btg. Possible scam as well.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: October 21, 2017, 03:40:47 PM
I tried overclocking my D3 (September batch)  to the 537Mhz frequency (October batch frequency), but it was not stable at all.   Undecided

I tried OverClocking too, but it's not stable too. Can we asked Bitmain provide a new firmware to gain 19GHs for D3 September batch?

Another firmware is already available, but I've heard of people that have had troubles due to the flash. Mainly being unable to connect the machine to the internet afterwards.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Dogecoin headed to Zero? on: October 21, 2017, 03:32:33 PM
I hope the old doge can pull through...I remember joining their sub because of the memes (the doge meme had some traction at the coins inception). Sad to see it in this situation. I remember how helpful and nice the people were back then.
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitcoinGold is a Scam!?! Carefull with Your Bitcoin Private Keys!!! on: October 21, 2017, 02:58:53 PM
Dude, nothing except for your wallet should ever require the use of your private keys.
300  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Gambling Method [Make $40-50 daily] on: October 21, 2017, 02:52:51 PM
Then why are you selling this method?

To make bigger bank and use higher stakes so I can make more money ?

You claim to make 40$/day at the very least. Why would I sell the method for half that price? Why would I draw attention on something that makes decent money?
