62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins or Tokens with a good potential like SHIBA INU. on: May 11, 2021, 08:49:59 PM
SHIBA got that huge pump because it got listed on Binance. There is nothing special about the coin. If you are interested in investing in pump and dump token, it involve alot of risk and one of them is 100x coin and NFTART. They have huge supply and they have been making waves on the social media. They will certainly pump but will dump later.

There is walware that take screenshot and remotely have access to your computer. If your friend is someone that like downloading softwares, videos etc. from an unauthorized link, he might be a victim of this threat. The hacker will have access to your private key and will be able to enter your wallet even without password. It has happened to me too in the past.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance CEO CZ Defends Binance Smart Chain's Ethereum Copycats on: May 10, 2021, 06:37:04 AM
Ethereum is open source so I do not see anything wrong if CZ makes used of it to develop a new blockchain which as for now is better than Ethereum. This is nothing strange. It cut across every dev from software to operating system, music, database, program etc.
65  Economy / Economics / Re: If we have crypto Why people still buy stocks? on: May 10, 2021, 06:28:38 AM
Just like crypto, Investors purchase them for their profits. Their small Share price may indicate that they have fallen off the radar with traders for whatever reason. Asset classes may be growth and profit stocks. People purchase stocks with value with the expectation that the economy overreacts and the inventory price rebounds. However, stock traders prefer it than crypto because it is regulated and perfectly backup by known entity and not anonymous people

67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your take on Binance coin (BNB). on: May 06, 2021, 08:32:38 PM
BNB has a lot of potential because of the way the binance is developing just recently binance is making announcements of NFT which means Binance will always develop however it will be un wise to sell your ETH to buy BNB because ETH is also a very good and have potential just like BNB
68  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading futures without knowledge of chart patterns, is gambling not trading on: May 06, 2021, 08:02:58 PM
When you are taking a great risk, you will discover that you are losing a lot of funds. This is because it is the basis to study technical analysis of crypto chart and also understand very well how to use trading tools in order to minimize the risk which exactly what the op has explained in order to avoid gambling rather than trading
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: travelling internationally with a hard wallet on: May 06, 2021, 05:52:58 PM
You cannot be deny into entry just because you hold an hardware wallet. It is not a spying tools neither is it a device that is prone to hazard. It does not fall into any of the item listed in the category listed in the following link https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/travelsecure-subsite/Pages/Items-you-cannot-take-on-plane.aspx
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Football clubs and bitcoins on: May 06, 2021, 05:39:25 PM
I would have love to see some links to the news about some of the club listed above wanting to pay with bitcoin. I am not doubting this especially now that some clubs sponsors are known bitcoin projects. The most recent one is the crypto.com sponsoring Italian cup final https://www.coindesk.com/crypto-com-official-sponsor-italy-soccer-cup-final
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: chances of bank closing account if you buy bitcoin on: May 05, 2021, 08:19:25 PM
According to recent crypto regulation in Nigeria, The central bank has asked the bank to close any customer that his/her account linked to any crypto related transaction. In such case the account holder might lose his/her money when the account is freeze by the bank. However, for someone who can afford a lawyer can make case with in the court to get his/her account unfreeze
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burning of cryptocurrency on: May 05, 2021, 08:10:16 PM
When smart contract is being created for a particular token a feature is added that allow part of the token to be burnt by simply sending  token to a smart contract address. when token get burnt by sending to that address, it can never be retrieved and no one have access to such token even though you can check the address or the transaction
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ApeSwap Vs PancakeSwap on: May 05, 2021, 05:51:33 PM
I use the two platform regularly. The total supply of CAKE is higher than BANANA. The same applies to their respective market cap. Apeswap has one of the best PR I have ever seen and this has contributed immensely towards the development and the growth of the BANANA. I believe apeswap will reach $50 one day if they continue to develop. They have alot of features and many new BSC based projects are adding liquidity to apeswap.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Coin On PANCAKESWAP on: May 05, 2021, 05:43:40 PM
magic balancer $MGB is one of them. Any project can integrate their token with pancakeswap for one way swap and this is the reason why you get a warning message when you want to swap your coin to those unmarked new token. Many scam projects are taking advantage of this swap token especially those based on BSC to scam innocent investors
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chia Cryptocurrency on: May 05, 2021, 05:28:30 PM
Proof of space is an algorithm that is not yet known well. If the consensus proof to be better than other blockchain consensus algorithm particularly in term of speed and transaction fee then Chia might end up competing with bitcoin. It seems the blockchain will be a centralized one compare to bitcoin which operate on decentralized network
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Towards a unified currency on: May 05, 2021, 05:21:11 PM
There are alot of misconception about crypto replacing fiat. This is something that is not possible. Coming out to think there will be unified currency, I do not think that will be possible also. This is because each country has its on monetary regulations governed by the central bank. Some regional union such as ECOWAS could not even have a unified currency. Crypto is not develop to replace fiat

78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 90% chances if a coin is listed in Binance it has a good potential on: May 04, 2021, 12:19:16 PM
Although Binance have a strategic pattern through which they used in picking a coin to list but do not forget that because a coin is listed in Binance does not mean it has good potentials because this is a long term thing which you might not know. Also, do not forget about BinanceDEX that happens to end up with a lot of shit coin.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin no longer relevant? on: May 04, 2021, 12:08:05 PM
Bitcoin is very much relevant. Maybe because of the new ETH ATH but that does not make it look as if ETH is chasing bitcoin out of relevant. If you understand some previous pump history, you will know there is always a time whereby traders will consider other coin too and their price will increase. It is not only ETH that is pumping but many others (WAVES, NEO etc.)
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Incorporating BTC the way forward for most companies? on: May 04, 2021, 12:03:39 PM
Maybe you mean incorporating blockhain technology. Except you are referring to making bitcoin a payment option. Depending on what the case may be. Blockchain technology is evolving and alot of public and private firm have adopted this technology in solving most of their challenges and keeping up with what is in vogue. With the advent of decentralized finance, it makes financial services more convenient and easy to access.
