861  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FTX Review: The Best New Crypto Derivatives Platform on: May 05, 2020, 02:26:16 PM
I tried their leverage bull and bear token on bitmarx I was using binance before it was removed. The truth is that it makes you choose easily between bull and bear market but the drawback is also there.
862  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Brought Bitcoin in 2017 and sold in 2018 on: May 05, 2020, 02:21:27 PM
If you really did this, I would actually consider you as an unlucky person. This shows that you don't believe in bitcoin and just bought it to gain profits.
If you would have truly believed in bitcoin then you would have never sold it in such a low price.
If you had an emergency then that's a different thing but if you just did it for speculative purpose then you have just encountered a huge loss.
You still have the time with what you have left. You can either hold your altcoins or convert them into BTC and wait for BTC to rise up again.
We all know that BTC will "surely" rise in price but it will just take some time.
That is what exactly majority of people are in for. Just for a quick profit if he's in because of believes, he probably have been in it for along time ago. He joined in 2017 which was when the price was going high. He must have heard about it as a means of getting quick money and now he's considering selling back if the price rise during halving
863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tone Vays channel deleted from youtube on: May 05, 2020, 09:42:26 AM
I don't agree with his opinions but he had a very good and informational channel about trading and TA. He never told people what to do just anlysed the charts and gave his opinions.
The hyperwave theory he's following is questionable and Tone is only right in maybe half of his predictions, but he's not doing anything wrong. He's just like any other analyst.

How does his channel break the TOS?

I hate how they never explain which exact point those banned people broke so that they cannot even argue their case.
Youtube do not really bans channels base on sentiment reasons. He must truly break one of their TOS. Unfortunately he is the only person that might have idea which of their rules he went against. I am very sure he must received warning prior to his account being ban and appealing a ban is always positive when you have reasonable reasons you go against their TOS and not pleading to them to get your account reactivated
864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to improve the usability of bitcoin? on: May 05, 2020, 09:35:18 AM
by offering services with discounts for people that are willing to pay with bitcoin. Also by sensitizing people the importance of using bitcoin in our daily life with clear emphasis on important advantages like low transaction charges and transparency. I believe these are few but not all ways in which we can improve the usability of bitcoin
865  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello anyone can teac me with any guide how to generate some money with bitcoins on: May 05, 2020, 09:30:48 AM
If you have any skill that is marketable I think you can earn from bitcoin by offering services in return for money. You can go to the services section here on bitcoin talk. I am very sure you will understand what I am talking about. You can also learn how to trade and do some little importation business and request payment in bitcoin.
866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China policy on Bitcoin on: May 05, 2020, 09:27:18 AM
I've already heard of it before that China will create their own cryptocurrency and I'm not sure if they are doing it now. If China would create its own cryptocurrency will that be accepted globally like transacting to other countries using its own cryptocurrency and how it will be valued in terms of the global transaction? Within the country, it will be easier because you will be dealing with someone who also has the same currency as you do but dealing outside then the cryptocurrency needs to have it's own value as it should go for forex. But having all these China will still have their own ways to make this possible especially when they found out that it has plenty of advantages to them.

The People’s Bank of China (PBOC) was pushing to have their own cryptocurrency last year together with Facebook and that is Libra. That's they are banning Bitcoin there.
It will get listed on many crypto exchange platform and people will be ready to trade it. China are known for their versatility in creating goods and many of their goods are being marketed in many marketplace e.g Alibaba meaning if they create their own cryptocurrency, they will also make it a payment processors that their international customers can use instead of wire transfer that charge exorbitant fee. General, the coin will be strong and will even overtake many top crypto
867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A perspective of the future of Bitcoin.. on: May 04, 2020, 09:14:57 PM
I consider that I am one of the lucky ones who entered the world of Crypto and learned a lot from him. Indeed, I discovered that the real wealth from this field has gained me by obtaining privacy, decentralization and financial freedom that cannot be controlled by governments or banks.
In addition, I still dream of making a second fortune when bitcoin rises.
What exactly do you mean by privacy? anybody can check your wallet balance ones they know your address so what exactly makes it private?. Decentralized but yet you still make use of the centralized exchange. You participate in ICO, IEO etc. and you get token but the dev team can lock your token or makes it useless by changing the smart contract. Is that still decentralized?
868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is sort of a Phoenix which Grows Stronger After it's Notice of Death on: May 04, 2020, 09:06:24 PM
How would you think they will be able to join bitcoin if they lost jobs? you just said there is much fud about bitcoin ending, If you happen to be one of those guys that had lost jobs but have little money, will you put it on bitcoin even though you have been hearing fud about bitcoin? I am sure your answer will be NO. And this is what it is. No one is certain what will happen to the price in the next 1 hour. Investing in crypto is very risky and I won't encourage anyone that is struggling to meetup end needs to put his or her little money in crypto unless he has some spare money
869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: It seems like it's the end for bounties on: May 03, 2020, 08:33:48 PM
Sadly, it is true that they only used us to achieve their goals. And it is now seen in most of the cases. After do a lot of checking & research it's difficult to understand which projects are good & which are bad.
Even with bounty campaign a lot of project are still not making softcap not to talk of making the hardcap. It is really hard because investors are no more forthcoming in investing which also make it hard for some good project to survive and fulfill their promises to the bounty hunters. It is quiet difficult to know the prospect of any campaign now
870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hate long term promotions on: May 03, 2020, 08:27:08 PM
I guess you are saying this because you actually get reward that worth it for participating in a long time campaign that eventually pays. There are other stories as well in which you will participate in a project for a long time but will end up getting peanut or nothing. It is just being lucky.
871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does it have volume ? on: May 03, 2020, 12:28:51 PM
I always get fooled when I see huge rise in price of a token during those period I have not really understand how trading work but now I have discover that even just a worth of $10 buy order can influence the price of the token more than 100%. This is what some dev team do just to save their token from dying in some exchange. Trading volume is very important
872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers in a top exchanges telegram groups on: May 03, 2020, 12:24:51 PM
Any reasonable person should know telegram is not the right place to sort out account issue. This is the major reason why most exchange platform have a section where users can submit ticket in order to solve problem majority of them are facing. This is no joke because I know many people will fall for this scam. Alot of people on telegram are hungry lion looking for who to feed on
873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Exactly Caused The New Drop Of Crypto? on: May 03, 2020, 12:20:54 PM
In the crypto world something like this can already increase the price of it all depends on the market and the news that has been scattered about the crypto world, perhaps currently the price is going down then that's the influence of the negative news spread so also the opposite, and now we can see the state of the market has started to recover and the price of Bitcoin and altcoin back increased.
Most time people take profit when the crypto price pump and thereby reduce the price. This is what is called market correction in some cases. However, the drop in price is not that bad if you check how much and the rate at which it drops. The next crypto run might see bitcoin above 10k even though halving is still very near.
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap or Coingecko? on: May 03, 2020, 12:13:41 PM
I think both of them use different means of measuring and collecting data. While CMC has been the choice of majority is probably because it is the oldest. Coingecko is no doubt good as well but I think it will always be behind CMC in term of preferences especially now that binance has purchased CMC and they have started collecting data survey in order to determine what the people want and how to improve the platform
875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay in waves or convert them to ethereum? on: May 03, 2020, 12:09:51 PM
Wave was touted as arguably one of the coin to watch out for few years ago but up till date wave has been crumbling and the frustrating part of it is that the dev team behind the project are not really active but rather passive. No one could really predict what we happen in the future or maybe wave could end up like dogecoin. For me it is better you convert it to other worthy coin
876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in this new IEO on: May 02, 2020, 09:51:52 PM
I will advise you to stay away from any IEO that is being held on Latoken because they are known serial cheater and cancer to cryptocurrency. They fake volumes and are known to be peddling scam project. Please kindly do yourself well by checking the trading section to uncover some of the previous scam associated with latoken. Their counterpart is Dobi
877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good time to buy some alt? on: May 02, 2020, 09:48:04 PM
If you want to give any altcoin a short maybe you should consider Ethereum. It seems the rise and fall of ETH has been consistent with the bitcoin also so probably we are going to see the same during halving
878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Think before joining any campaign on: May 02, 2020, 09:44:49 PM
Probably you are surprised because you are a newbie. A lot is happening about bounty campaign nowadays and this is one of the problem you have uncovered. Kindly do not waste your time and energy in promoting any project without guaranty that you will get your token not to talk of getting it traded in an exchange. I wish you all the best
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Minereum Cashout on: May 02, 2020, 09:41:28 PM
The issue of minereum has been addressed on a different thread here on BTT. It is no longer news that this is a scam project and luckily for you, you did not buy the token since it is airdropped. The deal is that the scammers want to take your coin in exchange for a level upgrade to be able to withdraw your token after if you do it, you will not be able to withdraw the shit coin to exchange wallet.
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dump or HODL these coins? on: May 02, 2020, 09:37:21 PM
You are among few of the people who is still holding a lot of token that are famous for pump and dump. Fortunately for you, I do not think any of the coin you listed has turned to scam. I personally like the Digibyte and gone are those days XVG used to be touted as a promising coin. Just like many people have suggested, you can sell and opt for bitcoin and ETH since you could buy some of them together when they are dumped if you want to
