741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers are at it again. Now attacking large corporations for more money. on: June 11, 2020, 12:47:53 PM
ransomware is what it is called and this has been around for a while now. The reason why they are targeting large organization is because of paying high reward. This people choose bitcoin as the most of their payment means due to the anonymity nature of the technology. What can safe many of the organization that might be vulnerable is to keep using various security means that are up to date and always carry out scheduled security auditing. For every individual, it important to always crosscheck website before proving your wallet details and also checking crypto addresses before making any transaction.
742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Again, another renowned exchange went offline... on: June 11, 2020, 10:04:38 AM
They want to protect the traders against panic sell that might further crash the price. This so called manipulation by the financial institution that use fiat cannot be totally comparable to this. This is because their own way of manipulation mostly do not favour individuals. Most people are victim compare to the crypto exchange scenario you mentioned above. Traders a protected from possible worse cases. I have begin to noticed also recently that most crypto exchange are beginning to protect their traders more by giving them tips to reduce their risk. This is part of the reason why binance delisted that FTX leverage token from their exchange because they discover that traders are losing huge amount of their money to this token when traded.
743  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Crypto Ban: Russian Regulators do not want Legislators to Ban Crypto on: June 11, 2020, 07:26:15 AM
A report coming from Russia has revealed that the country Ministry of Economic Development has frowned against the draft bills which was introduced by lawmakers.

"If the bills are successfully passed, Russia will have its first regulation for crypto and other digital assets which would also ban any businesses facilitating crypto transactions"

The ministry points out that people can still purchase crypto assets elsewhere, according to the Russian newspaper Kommersant, which has got the letter, but the current version of the letters will not allow the government to protect their rights. Crypto-oriented businesses will also be forced out of the region, hurting the economy.

The Ministry argues that the new regulations should take a different approach and work on establishing a 'controllable cryptocurrency market' in Russia.

Source: https://www.coindesk.com/russias-economy-ministry-calls-for-controllable-market-rather-than-crypto-ban

People do not want government to ban crypto and they also want their right to be protected.

Can the government achieve a totally controllable cryptocurrency market ?

745  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who will do the IEO of the crypto exchange market? on: June 09, 2020, 06:26:36 PM
No matter how popular or the number of active traders any exchange will have, I have not seen lately any of those new project that investors are guarantee that they will make profit. When you put on your money on this platforms, to partake in IEO, the token value depreciate after listing due to low demand for the token while those that already purchase during the token sales rush to dump the token. Well, it is better than ICO where investors can totally lose money
746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should we need to do for a successful ico on: June 09, 2020, 04:33:30 PM
Please if your project is not novel or solve any real life scenario which has not been explore or it is under-explore, I will advise you not to waste your time, energy and money. You can go to the ANN thread on the forum and look at many of projects that are having an ICO, 95% of them will turn to be unsuccessful unless you also plan to be one of the dev. However, if you have a solid project, I will encourage you firstly to seek for cooperation from relevant crypto communities. I will also advise if you intend to launch bounty. I do not give a bogus allocation to the campaign just because you want many hunters to help you promote your campaign. You can advertise on other crypto platforms such etherscan, CMC, Coingecko etc. Also make sure you already have a well developed platform and you have already start working on the project. Do not wait until you get funds from ICO before you start working on your roadmap.
In case you change your mind and want to switch to IEO, please do not even consider any of below exchange platform for the IEO
Latoken
p2b2b
probit
sistemkoin
Exmarkets
Coineal
IDAX
VinDAX
Shortex
747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KEEP HODLING ETH - XRP - NEO ??? on: June 09, 2020, 01:07:27 PM
BTC and ETH oh yes. XRP and NEO NO. For me I believe so much on bitcoin just like any other experience crypto hodlers. BTC still have a lot of potential and there is no year that will past with bitcoin being explicitly discussed even outside the crypto community. With the recent update about Ethereum and upcoming ETH 2.0, I strongly believe much on ETH and I can die to hodl this crypto because it has a lot of potential and with a very active community of developers especially the founder that give updates and future prospects, ETH is definitely going to moon. XRP as you have stated,is not that favorite of most people. The dev behind the coin are always engulf in all sort of scandals and lawsuit which makes the hodlers fearful of what would be the future prospect of the coin. It is being long we had any update regarding NEO, the coin is gradually turning just like the way of WAVE coin
748  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is www.thedashtrade.com legit? on: June 08, 2020, 03:59:23 PM
I will advise you not to proceed further on that platform because I am not convince it is a legit platform. For platform that offer trading of both crypto and other regulated asset that do not have business registration number since it also involves the trading of stocks. Also they claim to you to be around since 2010 but yet all their social media accounts is absent. Those provided on https://thedashtrade.com/contact/# are unclickable although there are phone numbers and email addresses but that does not justify that it is a legit platform. The website was registered this year and not 2010
you can confirm this by visiting this link: https://www.whois.com/whois/thedashtrade.com

My verdict is that the platform is not legit. Hopefully, you have not deposited money on the platform. Learn how to trade yourself stop relying on brokers. If they do not return your money, you will just be dragging issues with them. You can find a list of crypto trading platforms here https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/ I hope this assist you?
749  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The 10 Best Crypto Exchanges - Which one do you use the most? on: June 08, 2020, 01:27:24 PM
OP sorry if I am rude but the list you made is got to be one of the most stupid list of exchanges i have ever seen. Like did you even do any research before listing such exchanges or you just followed the shitmarketcap listings?
- Bilaxy - SCAM
- p2pb2b - SCAM
- WhiteBIT - SCAM
- Hotbit - SCAM
- HitBTC - SCAM

Seriously how can you leave out better exchanges like Kucoin, Huobi, Bitrexx, and opt for proven scams. Is that what selfkey.org  is all about? Promoting scam exchanges in their blogs?

If you have any doubts just head over to the scam accusations board, use the search button and see for your self the various accusation threads of the different exchanges i have listed
Op is looking for back links to his website and probably he created the list and make it controversial. You can't actually depend on individual ranking without adequate criteria for putting up a list. Since he's a newbie too, inadequate research must have led to this. Regular traders know important and exchange platform with high liquidity and this is the reason why platform like binance, Huobi, kucoin, coinbene etc are greatly favoured. Most of the exchange site he listed are better called a crowd funding platform rather than crypto exchange platform. Latoken, probit etc fall into this category
750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What percentage of tase, is currently loyal to Bitcoin....! on: June 08, 2020, 11:15:10 AM
Just like in your country, it is same here. People pay less attention to any thing related to bitcoin except some few ones that venture into crypto and gift card trading on some platforms such as PAXFUL. I think what makes bitcoin popular before in my countries are those money doubling program popularly refers to HYIP that uses crypto as part of payment donation method and ever since many got scammed bitcoin wasn't always pleasant in their ear. Most always think bitcoin is a scam
751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: OrginTrail (TRAC) went from $0.005 to 0.07 in less then 3 months. on: June 07, 2020, 09:28:53 PM
Probably there has been continuous demand of the token by individual which makes the price goes. The data available on the CMC shows the token hit the lowest price of $0.0034 less than 3 months ago which is an indication that the team has been working continuously on the project for a long time. Getting listed on Binance  as you have state will further stabilized the price. Hopefully they can achieve this. This is the first token I will see that have rise in price massively in a long time.
752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance listing can't erase price dump on: June 07, 2020, 08:11:51 PM
While I support some of your narrative, I also believe the exchange platform also play a long role in reducing the rate at which the price of the coin diminish. We all know that crypto is very volatile and within a few minutes, your all portfolio could drop to the half of the previous volume by price. However, platform with a lot of active traders such as Binance have the liquidity to reduce price dump. The ultimate reason why token price dump is because the demand for the token is more than the people that want to sell. When a project create a framework that involve continuous acquire of the token rather than selling off, the price dump will be minimal.
753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🧐 Bounty vs Buying likes, views, followers etc on: June 07, 2020, 04:54:22 PM
Op is still not yet know that most of the views, likes and comment being sold by the smtp platform are not organic, they are delivered by the bots. You can buy as many views as you like on some platforms such as followiz but they have zero influence on your token sales. Even some platforms such as youtubes now recognized that there are bot softwares used to gain more likes, views and comments on video and they have started removing them and possibly ban the accounts. It is better to run ads on crypto related platforms than buying views but many of them will rather choose bounty option because it is generally cheap.
754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Illegal activities is giving cryptocurrencies a bad image on: June 07, 2020, 02:30:08 PM
There is nothing that have pros that does not have cons. The same thing with the fiat base system that we operate. Money are being embezzle, bank steal money from dead customers, individuals take part in fraud and forgery using fiat based currency. And the same thing is happening with crypto. Not long ago in my country, some groups of kidnapper were requesting for $10000 worth of bitcoin to be paid as ransom https://www.ccn.com/bitcoin-ransom-nigeria/ when it comes to rising against crypto, government will not look at the pros side of it but rather focus all their energy on the cons
755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Detective Community Populer? on: June 07, 2020, 10:57:35 AM
If he can continue with the style he is using to manage and selecting campaign then I think he might also go a long way. I have partake in campaign that were managed by great managers such sylon, Arteezy, bounty portals and other, They always start great but it become difficult when some of them got hit by campaign that end up badly for hunters. Another thing to note is that most bounty managers that are very strict in selecting bounty to manage always get less job but it is far better than managing projects that half of them will end up in scam. This is the reason why I love Sir yahoo. He is very strict when it get to dealing and selecting project to manage. I have discover that some great manager like Sylon will rather stop managing bounty campaign than get their image tarnished.
756  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to trade PoSToken? on: June 06, 2020, 08:40:37 PM
I remembered Postoken very well, it was the first and only airdrop I participated in. It is just like the DeepOnion token. Unfortunately many exchange that it was listed has delisted the POstoken and their official website is also dead. I remembered it was first traded on Etherdelta then. I'm not sure if it is still possible to trade it on etherdelta but you can check it out. Coinmarketcap must have also unlisted the token because it was dead long time ago
757  Economy / Economics / Re: What would a Crypto-only economy look like? on: June 06, 2020, 06:33:57 PM
Well, I do not think this can ever happen in the future here in africa. If the owe economy is run in form of crypto, I trust we are going witness a lot of people losing their crypto probably because they cannot remember the their paraphrase or they carelessly send coin to a wrong address. Also, in term of the pros, people wont have to depend on put their trust in financial institution to grant or keep safe their money. Also, we could all monitor the way our government spend and how much monthly allocation is paid to states. We can finally know the number of people that donate or raise fund for a particular course.
758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bankera..3 years after ICO...a money grab ICO??? on: June 06, 2020, 03:21:49 PM

759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is third party Bitcoin services really into Bitcoin for the technology? on: June 06, 2020, 01:10:26 PM
That is the part of the reason why this forum is created to bring attention of the public by knowledgeable people like you to vital issues that people must be aware of. I want to let you know that no business will be created without intention of making profit. When people offer you services for free, the first thing that must come to your mind is what do they intend to gain because they are not father Christmas ( even you get to pay a token before you have access to father Xmas). This party crypto services provided rendered free services for change for traffic, users and user data and as soon as they obtain a required peak, they explore to other things.
760  Economy / Speculation / Re: Continue to Hold your bitcoin on: June 06, 2020, 10:39:40 AM
This is exactly what has been projected to happen long time even before the last month halving but I believe the steady rate of the decline of the trading volume has been quiet noticeable ever since the price of the bitcoin suddenly jump back from 10k to 9.5k plus. I believe traders are waiting to see the next big move of bitcoin. While I will not discourage people from holding but we also know that crypto market have always been use as pawn by the whale who sometime crash the market.
