921  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My experiences so far and my advises for the newbies. on: March 28, 2020, 08:36:16 AM
3. Do not beg for merit
I have noticed some newbies that have no more than 2 posts and zero merit begging for merit. This signifies unseriously and a perfect no-fit to be among the forum members. Let your topics and posts do the work.
I love this item, actually I can't agree anymore Smiley. This is right, even how hard for you to earn merits don't you ever beg for it. This is not about pride talks because you can absolutely  do better than that, besides it is more fulfilling to get merits in a smooth and nice fashion, right? Cheesy — no signs of compassion, just pure appreciation from the sender.

So instead of begging, focus more on improving the quality of your posts and find opportunities (e.g. Merit Giveaways) where you can earn it.
922  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Has anybody used Cryptake.com on: March 28, 2020, 03:08:19 AM
when i contact support they give me some message about how i have to transfer 0.02BTC FROM blockchain TO cryptake when all i am trying to do is take my money out of cryptake.
It is a guaranteed scam method to scam you 0.02 BTC, can you tell us how you got your BTC on cryptake? If I am correct you have offered services or sold something and you were paid through cryptake? I have seen this type of cases a while ago. Do not send a single penny. They are scam.
Indeed but the question here is that did OP really offered a service or sold a good because if he just received an email saying "Congratulations! You received a .02 btc blah blah" out of nowhere then he is just wasting his time for nothing. It was a scam for sure. I say so because my friend experienced the same thing last Monday (as far as I remember), he get such email without even investing or joining any raffle draw in the first place.
923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins will grow in price faster if the market recovers? on: March 28, 2020, 01:59:31 AM
It is better to stay away from altcoins for now and to accumulate or buy more Bitcoin before the halving. If you still want to invest in altcoins then you should invest in ETH and LINK. The chances of these two coins to explode is very high when the next Bull run arrives. They both have been consistently performing in Bear market.
i do the same thing with you dude, link and ethereum were good coins that have strong support and also investors in cryptocurrency market.if we see recent pullback after drop sharply these coins have good gains. link bounce 100% from lowest price. i think if down again i will buy link and also bitcoin as my portofolio.
LINK? This is my first time to hear that alt. Maybe I'll check it later if it really performs well in the past and speculate if it has the chance to spike as btc rises (I'm not a fortune teller tho lol).

In my opinion, I'll definitely agree with you on eth. Despite of not performing well recently, I still believe that this is the alt that can pump hard because at the end of the day for me it is considered as bitcoin's shadow. Furthermore, I also looking forward to BCH Smiley
924  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best Browser to access bitcointalk on: March 27, 2020, 12:09:11 PM
I'm just using mobile device for accessing this forum and the browser I use is Google Chrome. So far so good Smiley, I haven't yet experience any problems when it comes to browsing. The data consumption is fair as well so I recommend you try too.

Hmmm, another on my list would be UC Browser. It performs fast especially on video streaming and downloading.
925  Economy / Economics / Re: How long this crisis will be? on: March 27, 2020, 10:00:25 AM
I've heard about Russia and Australia too experimenting for the possible vaccine.
While on the other hand, US already developed one. I just don't know when they will release it on the public. But one thing is for sure, they are now halfway on eradicating this virus. What they need to do is to keep some time to slow the spread rate of virus while the vaccine undergo the right process Smiley.

Going back to the question, I think and hope that Covid 19 will end for the next 1 to 2 months if not worldwide then at least here in our country first.
926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does good side of gambling overcomes its negative side? on: March 27, 2020, 07:58:12 AM
I can still say a big YES! Why? Simply because I haven't experience very bad drawbacks from it. Yeah! I am not a hypocrite that I never encountered items 1, 3, 4 and 5 on your negative effects list (and I'll make sure that I will never come to number 2) or even more but at least I can still handle it. I mean, I deeply understand these consquences and willing to experience a little bit part of it for exchange of a chance of earning money Smiley. For me, that was still a considered a healthy gambling lifestyle since I'm not yet become so harmful and toxic person.

Source: https://mmajunkie.usatoday.com/2020/03/jon-jones-arrested-albuquerque-aggravated-dwi-negligent-use-firearm-ufc/amp

Oh men! People's Champ is now facing another controversy. What do you guys think the reason behind such behavior? The authorities said he "performed poorly" on the breathalyzer test meaning he is drunk that time but I wonder what would be the result if he will undergo a drug test as well TongueHuh.

On the other hand, Stylebender is now starting to mock him through social media. Hahaha, this could create an intense rival story in the future and it excites me Shocked (just in case one of them will adjust on weight class).
928  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not as risky as many think. on: March 26, 2020, 01:29:39 PM
One of the main points many Bitcoin naysayers are quick to bring up whenever you question them on why they are so anti bitcoin is that bitcoin is ‘volatile and risky’.
To be honest, this is true but the only problem is they treat btc very different among other assets available. They look at it as so risky and extremely dangerous which in contrary is just the same as risky as stock market or even a simple business. They tend to think that way probably because they're culture-shocked. They are too scared to try on something new — on something that majority are not dealing with. This is the sad reality so let's double our efforts to enlighten them regarding this new technology Smiley.
929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a Days there is no charm to work in Bounties? on: March 26, 2020, 10:18:22 AM
What will be the Solution of This Problem.
There are lots of ways to avoid such situation, I guess most of the replies here mention it already. But in my opinion, the best and the fastest way on determining whether if a bounty is legit or not is through its campaogn manager. Choose a well respected and highly trusted CM here in our forum and I guarantee you that everything will be fine Smiley.
does anyone knows good one ?? Grin Cool
I can't give you specific answers but here's my advice. Try start digging on Bounties Wink. Good luck!
930  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bump rule reminding on: March 26, 2020, 08:03:57 AM
13. Bumps, "updates" are limited to once per 24 hours.[2]
21. Old bumps should be deleted. [2]
Yeah! Everyone should already knew about this and maybe the exemption would be Newbie/Brand New accounts only. But sometimes other members blindy ignore this rule for some reasons like avoiding to decrease their activity.

I also see same thing happening in sig campaign threads. Members apply over and over again but never clean up the mess they made when they're rejected. How annoying they are to be honest Roll Eyes, especially those members who can't understand the term "CFNP", "FULL" and "CLOSED".
931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways in which you can promote bitcoin. on: March 26, 2020, 05:20:28 AM
I told some of my friends about Bitcoin and they were like they read in the news that it's illegal and the currency of criminals. When I argued they said they would better trust the news rather on simply an individual. :/
Same sentiments but those people are those close minded about great possibility. I have introduced cryptocurrency well to my friends and some of them got interested but some have the same reason of you.
Hi guys, I got the same fate too Sad! *sigh It really makes me weark every time they reject me and don't believe how crypto can help them to uplift their lives. Most of the people who heard me introducing bitcoin said that they're interested on how to earn money but how ironic that they are scared to invest even a single cent. Wtf, I pity them for they don't even realize that money will not come in just a snap of a finger Undecided. But despite of bad feedbacks I receive, I still continue asking stores every time I buy and spreading the word for those that I've known hoping one of them will be interested.
932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 26, 2020, 04:00:52 AM
Another saddened news for NBA player KAT mother that has been in a coma coz of the covid-19.

Karl-Anthony Towns: Mother in coma; Wolves confirm COVID-19 diagnosis

KAT even mentioned his father that has been affected by the virus as well, but managed to take down the fight between the virus and now is in recovery.
What a bad news again Sad, KAT himself should now start strengthening his immune system even futher because if his father and mother got infected then most probably he and his other relatives could too. I just hope he didn't socialize too much and just inside their house these past few days. They really need isolate the virus to avoid situations getting worse.

Anyway, though we all knew that most death cases happen on the elders but I believe that his mother can beat it. If her spouse made it then she can too Smiley.
933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble right after coronavirus outbreaks? on: March 26, 2020, 01:34:31 AM
Not yet because there are remaining problems need to resolve first — DEBTS Grin. I need to pay my debts first because this pandemic really juiced up my pockets so bad. I also need to find a job right now, I'm so bored of becoming a fresh board passer. It's time to face the real world. Hmm, maybe a month or two months after the crisis when can be able to gamble again but I'm hoping for faster recovery Smiley.

935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A new cryptocurrency on: March 24, 2020, 01:58:27 PM
That's the weirdest name I've ever seen in crypto space since my day one on here lol,
I agree on you mate, it was weird in a sense that it has a long and not english name Cheesy. But going back on the topic, no offense OP but I think the coin you are trying to shill will not click on the crowd if you don't got any form of campaign or just an announcement about the project.
936  Economy / Economics / Re: Net worths if Bitcoin reaches $100,000 on: March 24, 2020, 11:53:41 AM
Ahm excuse me, may I know who is ranked 1. I thought from the very start that Satoshi, the pioneer, holds the most number of bitcoin. Am I the only one who doesn't know about this thing Huh?
What would be your net worth if bitcoin reaches $100,000?
Hmm, actually my net worth won't be that so big assuming that btc's price spike that high. Actually, I'm just holding less than $500 at this moment because I already spent most of it due to the sudden pandemic.

Anyway, I don't bother too much with this idea because it's nearly impossible to happen right now Grin.
937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 24, 2020, 09:47:30 AM
Who likes to see TR47 vs Pringle to compete as the best player in the conference?
Me me! That would be so intense for sure Smiley. I can not see that if these two teams make it to the Finals once again, we can see a battle of cross overs, and stop & pump threes for sure. But if I will choose between the two on who is better (no bias), I will go to Pringle because he seems more athletic for me. Your thoughts Grin?
938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 24, 2020, 05:40:43 AM
With the way they played, they are a good contented in the All Filipino cup and some of are were wrong that without Fajardo they are nothing.
Indeed, some people are wrong for thinking that SMB will now automatically go to "Bora" this conference. Yeah! Abay is a big loss for them but remember guys there are still many ace players there so I don't underestimate them. But I do believe that SMB is not on its optimum level and it's very obvious. Thus their chance of winning will slightly decrease and other teams might take advantage of it.

News Alert! Khabib - Ferguson fight's venue is now 99% set Shocked. Wow! What a great news from Dana. With such statement, we can already confirm that their long awaited fight will happen finally. There's nothing, even the virus, could stop it. Though we can't yet clarify the exact setting and/or there's no audience present, I'm still glad because it will happen for sure Smiley.

940  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's price is so volatile right now! Why should I even hold? on: March 23, 2020, 11:00:54 AM
I am almost sure that due to the current situation Hold Bitcoin is what people are doing.
Actually I think of the opposite. Since we are now experiencing world pandemic, all of us are now having a hard time to acquire basic necessities. As a result, many people are panic buying and when many people buy so as withdrawing from banks or in their crypto wallets. By looking at CMC, we can see that btc's price decline -6.45% as of this moment, see Cheesy?
