861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 11, 2020, 04:18:36 PM
Nice! Well they are really proving to us that NBA really Cares Smiley. It is a win-win-win situation for all of us because we are not only entertained but most importantly the people who are affected by the pandemic will get help. I hope more and more events such as this one will come in the future.

A little information for those who don't know what HORSE is.
Quote
Horse basketball

H-O-R-S-E is a game played by two people on a basketball court. The idea of the game involves matching baskets. The player who makes shots that the opponent does not duplicate, wins the game. Example: The second person shooting must duplicate the first person's shot, if it is made.
Credits to Google.
Ah okay! So if the first shooter pull off a half court shot (or any kind of shot) then the other one must do the same thing? This game is so cool and interesting tho Shocked. In this case, I'll go with Trae because I think he is a versatile shooter than CP3.
862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BOUNTY PUNISHMENT, TASKS ARE TOO DEMANDING on: April 11, 2020, 10:55:33 AM
Nevertheless he seems to be too tough on his community who participates on his bounty program which is something not too good. For example, in his rules, he demands signature campaigners to make a minimum of 15post per week and a maximum of 3 post count per week, a good bitcointalker should be through with his post in 5 days at 3 per day
You know what? You are very fortunate on that state already because you are only required to make 15 posts compare to 25-30 post quota of sig campaign participants. In my honest opinion, the rule sounds good. Your manager is just too strict implementing it which is normal and understandable.
although if mode deletes one post at a dead hour without one been aware, one will loss reward for that week.
if so then it's not the manager's fault, its the participant's negligence. I've encountered such scenario couple of times ago and it served as a strong lesson for me. From now on I make extra posts every time I join a campaign (around 2 to 4 posts) so that I have no worries when the payday comes Smiley.

Edited: fix the code
863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time Will tell on: April 11, 2020, 07:19:12 AM
But like the Title "Time Will Tell" because the truth is People here in Crypto market did not Join force until now.

this is why Whales is still winning over us .

I think the whales are not the real enemies here. Being a whale is not a mistake nor a curse for the others, actually they are helping the market to rise. Well, we can say that what benefits their actions the most are themselves of course but at the end of the day they are all called adopters like us (small investors). Meaning, they are part of the crypto revolution Smiley.

Whether you are a whale or just a "fish", we are part of the crypto sphere. If there is an enemy then I think that would be the challenge of encouraging everyone to try blockchain tech.
864  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Useful article for additional knowledge. on: April 11, 2020, 04:09:16 AM
Nice! Those articles you shared could really help the newbies out here especially those lazy ones because they no longer need to find it on their own. They are just one click away so there are no excuses. Though these topics can be googled and find here as well, that's okay because for me your intention of helping what really matters Smiley. Keep up the right attitude.
865  Economy / Economics / Re: Nobel Laureate asked India to print more money and not to worry about inflation on: April 10, 2020, 04:03:18 PM
I contradict simply because it's a very risky move, it will be a hard punch for their economy if they insist such thing. In my opinion, printing more money is absolutely a bad idea.

Plus, imagine if their government gave money to each household. Yeah it's nice but do you think they can fully harnessed it since their movement is limited because of the strict quarantine? Of course not thus the help would be inefficient. I think much better if their government just give them relief goods because food is what they badly needed anyway. Another, they could also encourage the families from higher classes and private sectors to run fund raising projects to ease the burden they feel. Remember, a government must spend based on country's economy or else everything will get even worse in the long run.

What I'm only pointing is there are still much better solutions. Sacrificing the growth of their economy must be their last resort.
866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 10, 2020, 11:34:56 AM
Well, it's less frustrating to me already because I accepted such tendency the moment Khabib was stucked on their community quarantine. But still, it was so disappointing and blame the universe why Khabib vs Ferguson seems impossible to happen Sad. But I hope they will meet soon to see who is the real goat in the Lightweight division.

Meanwhile, what a devastating news for Rose Namajunas. Her 2 people on her family died because of Covid 19. My condolences for her Sad. SOURCE: https://www.espn.com/mma/story/_/id/29017786/rose-namajunas-ufc-249-exit-due-covid-19-deaths-family
867  Other / Meta / Re: How can I increase my merit? on: April 10, 2020, 06:36:07 AM
there are  others corruptible activities going here. some get involved into merit gifting for one reason or the other. they only knows whatever engagement that leads to that.

Do you mean merit abusing? Well if that's what ypu mean then feel free to report it because that's our obligation as one of obedient members here. Just make sure you can prove the accusation reasonably Smiley. We should only have one reason every time we give merit, and that's quality. Though each one of us got different definition for that word but the bottom line is that we should only give those who deserve it Smiley.
868  Economy / Speculation / Re: Comeback for the bitcoin on: April 10, 2020, 03:58:56 AM
I think I saw a comment referring bitcoin's comeback to be at $10k. However, I believe the comeback is already here. I clearly remember telling my family and friends to buy and hodl bitcoin if they had some spare money for that. It was just some weeks ago when bitcoin was around $4k. They didn't listen to me even tho they had spare money. I believe it was mind blowing for them when bitcoin added $3k to it's worth. As for me, if I bought it about a month ago when it was pretty cheaper, I would be selling it by now cause volatility isn't a trusted friend.
I presume you already made good profits by now. And if that was true then you can use it as your means of persuasion to your friends. Let your profit speaks for you. For sure they will realized how big the opportunity they had missed. And because of this they will now be more courageous on investing whatever price point they enter because they knew that time will come when btc pumps and earn money like you did Cheesy.

But if they still don't make actions despite of your success then I don't know what's wrong with them anymore Grin.
869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Corona drop over or will it continue? on: April 10, 2020, 02:34:39 AM
Ever since the coronavirus came out, I have become more and more financially struggling and am borrowing to be able to continue living in this difficult situation. In addition, I also spend a small amount of money to invest in this market to earn more profits.
How ironic that you are spending to invest in crypto but borrowing money for sustaining your daily expenses at the same time. I think it was a bad move mate because you might get buried in debt. I am not saying that your money management is bad but much ideal or safe to invest solely from your own savings so that if you unfortunately lose then at leatd you don't have any obligations to anyone. If you can't really afford to do both things simultaneously then focus on most important first — that is surviving your daily life Smiley.
870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MOBA Gambling on: April 09, 2020, 01:14:16 PM
There are so many amateur player out there and I know most of us likes to gamble,
So my question is why aren't there any website that could host a MOBA betting for amateurs were they could bet and they could earn from their own skill.
Who know's maybe because of it they would be a well known player and become a professional.
Why? Maybe because it is hard to host E sports? Imagine if there would be a 5v5 battle online (take note of that) and place a bet then suddenly a one player from the other team disconnected due to slow internet connection. Where the bets will go, to the other team? I think it is unfair especially when you knew that your team is leading. This is just one of the few conflicts I imagine.

Maybe what they can do is to run a MOBA tournament and then do the bettings. At least technical errors will greatly minimized because they are all inside a one venue provided with proper equipments and strong connection. By means of that, alibis are not valid when a particular team lose thus there will be no delays on betting transactions Cheesy.
871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I realise Coronavirus is not a reason why on: April 09, 2020, 10:38:02 AM
Yeah! Btc's price fall down few months ago but that's what I'm not feeling right this very moment. How ironic that our world is currently in the middle of pandemic resulting to economic crisis in different parts of the globe but still the crypto sphere seems so alive. I mean, try to look on the price chart, bitcoin rise by .16% (at the moment) despite of the happenings. We are so blessed Smiley.
872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: For newbies only on: April 09, 2020, 08:42:20 AM
guide the newbie so they cannot experienced to lose what they have right now we need to help each other to stopped bad people.
I agree on you somehow but you know what? I can't help but to think sometimes that answering newbies' questions are already an act of spoonfeeding (more particularly on questions which have obvious answers). Don't get me wrong guys, I love helping others especially the newbies because I once become a newbie as well and I know that feeling of struggle Smiley. However, searching for a legit wallet which suits for you is one google away and you can verify it on your own by means of reading articles, testimonies, asking friends or even by digging existing threads here on our forum; right? So I expect that even a newbie will not easily fall on such trap made by the scammers as long as they research very well Smiley.
873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: April 09, 2020, 06:49:54 AM
I am concerned that we still do not have the cure against the virus and the United States continues to increase in positive cases for Covid19.
With the current situation, the resumption of events and activities is very distant.
Indeed, I almost forgot that it will be held on April 25. Gosh! Last 2 weeks before the fight and yet the US seems not bringing down the lockdown. I guess we will have another disappointing postponement of exciting fight in the near future Sad.

But looking on the bright side, it is good somehow. At least they still have more time to train and make tactics to beat each other. For sure this will be an action packed match, can't wait to watch it Smiley.
874  Economy / Economics / Re: Virus Bear Market? on: April 09, 2020, 04:50:59 AM
I think there will be a small effect to the price of the bitcoin after the halving or maybe there will no effect at all.

I can still feel that this year's halving will provide a significant increase on the price. However, I admit that the chances are getting low as the situation is getting worse. So we must move fast right after the after the halving because we might miss the boat Grin.
This crisis will be recorded in the history because of the collapsing of the economy.
Of course, whether when it comes to the virus or crypto world, it will be recorded. But I think the Bitcoin's worst halving (if ever happen) will be more memorable for us compare to the damage done by the pandemic. Because if we compare this Covid 19 to previous pandemics happen like the Black Plague or Spanish Flu, it was nothing. Nevertheless, I hope this pandemic will end soon.
875  Other / Meta / Re: Newbie to Jnr on: April 09, 2020, 02:32:45 AM
The way that the forum is structured and designed makes it rather unintuitive to seek out specific stuff, so I thought I'd make a topic about it.
Hmm, no I don't think so. The forum itself is enough. You have so many things you can learn from it but everything depends on how deeper you dig or how persevere you search since many topics are generated everyday and they all pile up as time goes by. By the way, you might also found the basic infos you need to acquire on pinned posts from different sub boards where it belong. Good luck Smiley.
3. Is there an upgrade option (paid in BTC) to reach higher member status?
Lol. If that way is existing and implemented very long time ago already then for sure most of us here are Legendary members now Cheesy. Well, like they've said, there'z no other way except from getting merits. So be a good member and create helpful/informative topics and posts as much as you could so that you will rank up.
876  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestChange Bounty and Signature Campaign on: April 08, 2020, 03:37:48 PM
Week 12 is finished today, you are welcome to check the sheets for the updates.
I already received the payments. Thank you manager Smiley.
877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 08, 2020, 01:23:45 PM
^  Yup...  But I wonder how Ferguson matches up with Gaethje tho.  I mean with all of Ferguson's training prolly laser focused on Khabib and his style and tendencies.
In addition, I wonder what preparation Gaethje did despite of the last minute call from Dana? Do you think is it enough to beat the Rank 1 contender? *sigh Why we come this far?  Everything seems not on its proper place so I'll not get shocked if we all get disappointed after watching the event Grin
Edit:  And I wonder if there's an unreleased Inside the Octagon for Khabib vs Ferguson somewhere...
Maybe, I'm sure ther is but I think they don't release it on purpose due to big changes.
878  Economy / Reputation / Re: A Large Farm of accounts cheating on signature campaigns on: April 08, 2020, 03:20:09 AM
I am hoping that you would still see us, and treat us as a normal member here in bitcointalk community. Thankyou.
Let us hope for the best kabayan.

I feel pity for our fellow Filipino who are enlisted there Sad. Actually, I'm shocked because they are still many (IMO) despite of tons of discussions circulating on our local board about how important the rules are. Until now, I am still wondering why some of us have the guts to risk their own reputation in exchange of few bucks — what a desperate move. Is it really worth fighting for? Nah! I don't think so. I guess the red tags they got are enough proof for me to say that.

For the rest of Filipino members out there, please obey the rules at all times. This is not about your reputation alone but the reputation of of our local board as well. So please cooperate Smiley.
879  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Poll - How did you find out about Bitcointalk? on: April 07, 2020, 12:30:29 PM
*sigh Ahhh! Memories bring back. I always feel how blessed I am every time I reminisce the time I entered here. It was way back 2017 (I'm 3rd year college I guess) when my classmate/friend introduced this forum to me. I am not new on forum websites way back then that's why I don't believe in him after he told me that you can earn money here. I thought that it was a form of scam but as time goes by I realized that I'm all wrong Grin.

I finished my degree and got my license already and yet I'm still here lol. This forum became a part of my daily routine and I can't leave it anymore. My heart is drawing near to it already Smiley.
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is it , it's the end of cryptos on: April 07, 2020, 06:53:43 AM
They will never recover,at least we should learn the lesson from this crises.
How sure you are mate? Are you a "fortune teller" like the others lol? But well, if you think it is better for you to back out now and forget crypto then so be it Smiley. You are not obliged to stay in the crypto sphere anyway. I just hope you will not repent for missing the opportunities once the market bounce back, God bless you.
For me most important lesson is that money isn't real  and it shouldn't be that important in life.
Love matters the most in this world of course but do you think it can feed your hungry stomach? See? Material things are also vital to make your biological structure alive and working Grin.
