See the OP, new bounty program just launched, starts August 15. We've been a little lax updating Bitcointalk, but we haven't gone anywhere. Also, while he's been in here helping, we failed to announce that AndronicusBass is now part of the core team. That happened some time ago, just didn't get properly shouted from the rooftops. Most of the action happens on our Discord. Feel free to join at any time. New bounty program is here should you not care to reset to the OP. Also, see the update posted on the previous post, and by all means, come to our discord. Rains happen frequently, and the coin feels good

Hey, Y'all. We've been live on the dICO for a couple of days. For the 500% bonus, your last day is June 5th! Please visit our webpage at www.equaliser.org, or connect up on any of our social media platforms. Particularly Discord, one of us (at least) is always there.

a couple of things: One, I will NOT be taking over active development of Funk. I'm far to busy with Equaliser, which I am one of the founders of. But I will maintain a pool and support whoever does want to take it on. Two, I'm not home, not able to update the pool's daemon. Mining and all works fine, and I will have it updated to the newest daemon later this evening. As for Nova, they've been restructuring for months. The old wallet should still work fine, but I'd guess they haven't yet updated, though from what I understand the Soniq team has informed them of the new developments. And lastly, Funkpool could really use some miners What's the minimum set up to use if I want to make at least some sort of difference? Fairly minimal. The pool has a very high initial difficulty, so it will take a few minutes to adjust to your rig if it's not in the GH/s range. But it's vardiff, it will stabilize within a few minutes and you'll start getting shares. Be aware, there will be some downtime today. Probably only ten minutes or so while I restart the daemon, but it will happen I'll post a warning up before I do it.

I have a LOT going on right now, did not get the updated daemon installed yet on the pool. I will tomorrow for certain.

not actually being part of the project, I'll keep going on Funk Always liked it. After the Soniq swap, if the Soniq team no longer wants the pool, I"ll build one to keep things rolling. Or take over the one I'm building for them.

Pool update. Had some issues with MySql. Big shock, right? Think it's solved, will be testing today (again), and am hoping to have it live by evening in Mountain Time. Mining works. That part didn't give me trouble. Payouts, which is most important to you guys, was being a pain. Turns out it's a compatibility issue with the latest version of MySql, so I'm using Mariadb now. Initial testing looks good. If that don't work, I'll downgrade to earlier MySQL version. At any rate, it's coming and soon

Well done guys. Good to hear it's all happening. pssstt ... funkpool ain't working ... Working on it Hopefully will be ready to go tomorrow. Ran into some server issues.

Looks like cryptoid updated their block explorer to the new version: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/funk/#!crypto Wallet Version 150100 (protocol 70036) Now if only we can get that big miner to update And hopefully we will @secousa We will certainly have a new pool next week. Also we will publish the website with roadmap and whitepaper for Soniq platform and token by monday. mining about 20% of funk. have no issues with mining and the coind has 30+ connections, even if i get this (strange) error: "errors": "EXCEPTION: St12out_of_range \nCInv::GetCommand() : type=1073741826 unknown type \nCypherfunk in ProcessMessages() \n" i wonder if i really need to upgrade, have you planned something like an hardfork? You need to upgrade, as the diff recalc is going to change. Plus the new daemon works better I am building the official pool for the Cypherfunks team, and Soniq team as I understand it. I ran into some delays with a bum server, but stay tuned. It's nearly ready.

When will we reach the state of more of less stable cryptocurrencies or it is in their nature and will never end?
I think it will continue to be volatile. However, if one or two cryptos come to be what all other currencies are measured against, much like USD, Euro, Yen, and Yuan are today, then those crytpos will APPEAR stable as all others will be measured against them Money is a strange commodity. It has no direct use, which is what makes it useful, but that also tends to make it unstable. Fiat currencies are not actually stable, but they're the benchmark. If you look at the history of the US Dollar, for instance, it's current value is 0.0151693276195533 of it's originally defined value of 1/20th of an ounce of gold.

it's interesting, of course. but then it turns out that the benefits of investors will not be particularly. and where will be located at home? are there any conditions for the purchase?
From my point of view, there are several advantages to early investors. One, as we grow and get various entities to adopt our system for title registry, the value of the coin will expand far beyond mere exchange price. Two, it's for buying houses. The initial value we set is just to get started. As people purchase housing using EQL, it's value will come to be associated with and possibly backed by real property. Without going upwards, land is a finite commodity. We also will be developing communities that are self sufficient and hopefully prosperous enough to sell their excess food, power, and possibly crafts and specialty items. As this develops, the demand for EQL will grow, and subsequently, it's value. We envision a number of real-world use cases. That whitepaper is just the beginning.

|
|
What is Upcoming development of this project ? I expect
Our whitepaper is in final editing as I type this, being reviewed by a proofreader and a couple of other professionals to make sure we made no mistakes. All will be revealed shortly But our first target is to start building monolithic dome housing in Puerto Rico shortly after the completion of the dICO, and to expand from there to planned self sustaining communities. Each project should, ideally, fund the next one until we are able to provide low or no cost housing to those who need it most, and fantasy homes to those who can afford them

Have a Safe Trip home @Andronicusbass 36 hour flight back to Australia is pretty intense however it was amazing meeting you here in Puerto Rico.
I'll second that, except I still ain't got to meet you IRL Also, for everyone watching, Andronicusbass is now officially a team member with EQL. We knew it was coming, he didn't

Not being listed on Yobit is probably a positive sign.

As we explore more of Puerto Rico, it becomes more and more clear the desperate need for adequate protection, against the Mother Nature’s wrath, although the Island is a very beautiful place, the destruction and devastation is still clear to see to this day. Many communities and lives have been affected. Talking with the locals we have heard the sad realities about how the hurricane has upturned their lives.
It was quite sad to see. I remain quite saddened that I was unable to join the rest of the team for this trip... But can you describe in a bit more detail what all you saw? I saw some of the pictures y'all sent, and it looked pretty bad. Not often I see YOU without words, my friend

ty for updating the cryptoid stuff Might be good to get someone like suprnova or MiningPoolHub on board! You're welcome. I'll certainly try to get in touch with both, i think it's a great idea. Also, we will create a new FUNK pool in a few days - expecting ETA from the dev tomorrow. If it's a P2pool and your dev has issues... have them take a look at this one cheers https://github.com/kr1z1s/p2pool-gameMost likely it will be me developing the pool. It will be phpMPOS.
