To those who are new with Titanium, there is an easy to follow brief summary about Titanium made by Denise Ohona, thought I'd share!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nLSGkL9tzE

Thanks for sharing. I am sure every day someone new sees this thread and learns about Titanium. So a quick summary for all of them is great.

It is easier to explain with a video lol especially to those find it troubly to go through the whitepaper and read indepth. thank you for sharing Gunny95. Btw, any live AMA happening soon with the team? I would love to see one.
2722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will 2017 gains ever happen again? on: January 31, 2018, 11:02:11 AM
To me one thing was clear is that more people and governments are accepting crypto as a concept; true there isn't much regulations going on but I think 2018 would be a better year.
2723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] savedroid ICO - CRYPTOCURRENCIES FOR EVERYONE | MAIN SALE 9 FEB 2018 on: January 31, 2018, 10:54:38 AM
I'm having some mixed feelings about this project. While they have a very good starting point (an already running app with 200k downloads) and the team definitely looks professional, the idea of creating a savings platform based on cryptocurrency does not sound like a great idea to me. This market is still very volatile. It's okay if your are investor but for people who just want to create a savings plan, and maybe earn a little interest, this won't work. There are some very interesting aspects, like simple UX and using AI for investments, so I'm not sure why they focus on the savings part.

I respect your view and deeply interested in telling some part of my story... I am barely 6 months here {cryptocurrency business) and in this short period I have accumulated well over 500 coins... All nice and solid projects with good products...  Just last night I created my 5th saving wallet and wants to just transfer my tokens there for safekeeping...

If I have a savedroid app that promises to help store my assets securely why won't I go all in? Remember I said securely as security is a big big big issue here

I agree with you. Crypto currencies are in huge demand and there are some good projects going on. So if someone wants to hold token for long period of time then safe wallet is necessary. Savedriod app can be good solution.

Exactly, I'm very keen to see how savedroid does in the ICO sale, I still can't get over the fact they sold the pre-sale within 7 hours.

This is one of the reasons why I'm going to contribute towards the ICO sale.

Any news on bonus percentages regarding the ico sale in 9 days?
The Main Sale will have no bonus, but you can earn 5% of all investments made through your referal link (which btw can also be used when taking part in the signature campaign)

Cool; I am glad I caught up fast with this one. At first I wasn't sure the pre-sale was concluded in 7 hours; I mean I did not notice any fuzz prior pre-sale. At anycase hope you guys success I will be watching this one.

BAR listed on 2 exchanges... FatBTC and HitBTC

great news

Ah fine news indeed. Being on more exchanges will surely attract potential buyers for Titanium Bar, but good exchanges is important. Hitbtc is one of the good exchanges available so listing there is a smart move for them. I look forward to use Hitbtc.

I think this person was joking when he said fatbtc  Grin I can understand his disappointment. Why are ICOs collecting money first but not get listed on a good exchange afterwards? It seems like it is very hard to be listed on there

Edit: I was wrong fatbtc is a real exchange: https://www.fatbtc.com/

In many cases it is not the ICOs fault it is not easy listing on exchanges. Usually exchanges want to see trading volume and that is unlikely to happen if you do not list in a good exchange. It is like a chicken and an egg thing. Also add to it the cost of actually listing in an exchange some ask crazy amount. So it is many things at play we hope to see some good exchanges soon.
In many cases, a listing without large trading volumes is solved by a large amount of money. The cost of listing on exchanges from the top 5 can reach several hundred thousand dollars and not many developers are ready or want to give such a sum. Therefore, many begin with exchanges easier.

Agreed, is not like is their best choice but they need to start from somewhere before getting to the top, that's what business is all about, titanium will last longer, so let the community not create much fuzz about the exchange because a bad project will not even last on a good exchange

If they will start from binance then it would be more better for titanium and people who want to trade in BARs. Or they have some more options also like bittrex, bitfinex.

I understand it, but it is the beginning lol. Sometimes you cannot start so popular you need time for that. I am sure that they are working on it to have Titanium Bar listed on more popular exchanges.

It is not easy getting the attention of the bigger exchanges without starting with the smaller ones. I hope to see binance but it seems recently it is quite hard and not sure why is that complication is it because of the fear of fraud or something else? I mean these big exchanges should have a quick selection process and fast decisions and somewhat lean acceptance approach. It seems the bigger an exchange grows that harder to list on them and the impossible it is to reach them/ or team.
2725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Is Banning Ads for Bitcoin and ICOs on: January 31, 2018, 04:29:40 AM
It is true that the social media giant Facebook is planning and about to announce a ban on advertising promotional ads relating to crypto currency.  As per the information the Facebook has taken this decision because of a large number of scams committed by some initial coin offerings and speculations during the last few months.

Facebook announced that they have created a new policy that prohibits ads  that promote financial products and services that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices, such as binary options, initial coin offerings and cryptocurrency.

Because of some cheaters found in the market; honest dealers will also have to face the loss without such a big platform like Facebook.  But people will definitely find other platforms and switch over to those alternate platforms.

I think it could have been regulated instead of a banned. I understand the fear and complaints from facebook users being spammed and conned; maybe it is a wise move to ban for now until something is figured out or a plan put in place. As a marketing decision they want to reflect protection of their users as a business decision it is a revenue channels lost I guess. Again this is just an opinion stated without knowing the full details.

What is the minimum amount for the ICO and is there a maximum amount?
Is KYC necessary and from what amount?
Min amount is 10 €, max amount on the frontend is 100,000 €. For bigger tickets just contact us directly.

KYC is required and depends on the investement amount.

Like the fact it's only a 10 euro minimum entry, makes it a lot easier for those of us with limited fiat at the moment (market hasn't been nice lately lol so not exactly swiming in liquidity) but definitely helps to be able to grab even a small investment in ICO's that show promise... especially those with existing platforms/products, they always tend to be the best performers especially through dips like these that we're going through across crypto.

Boy do i hate KYC's though but i understand why its necessary especially for non-utility coins.

I hate KYC too but I also know that is necessary for some ICOs.
Before I kill my piggy bank, from what amount do we have to carry out the KYC process?

As much as I also dislike KYC,  I feel it might bring about limitations as to the number of investors that are willing to engage in this ICO.
10€ is not much big deal for investors. That amount easy affordable to invest. I also dislike kYC but it's needed to keep safe your account from scammers and hackers.

As far as my knowledge is extended the main reason for KYCs is for ICO to be able to deal with the bank afterwards in matter to Money laundry and the likes. If am not mistaken there are ICO who opted not to go for the bank and settle most operations in ETH especially salaries. Employees would then arrange their own matters.

Now that maximum is mentioned would they get any bonuses? going beyond the maximum value?

This is interesting to find this project sold out its pre-sale just in 7hours which shows alot of confidence from supporters and community.

It lasted not even a day haha. This is sure not a ordinary ICO, but even a better one. I have a feeling that the main sale will also explode on 9 February.

Actually it lasted for about 7hours lol Savedroid already has a working product and active members I wasn't surprised the pre-sale finished that fast......i can't even imagine how the main sale will go down.

I honestly was surprised lol; I am actually following this project closely; at least for me i think these kind of projects that could bridge the traditional application with crypto world is a winner. It was successful without crypto and now they are introducing crypto so you are basically merging both worlds. I advise you to watch closely. I know I am.

I am all in ETH; it has resisted the recent drop very well I also think NEO is getting there too. It is a going to be the year for Altcoins to shine.

I might have missed the details to this on the whitepaper; Under section 4.1 it is mentioned that users will have their micro-savings automatically converted in cryptocurrencies except some countries we may have to exclude due to regulative constraints.

I have two questions on this:
1- does automatic mean that it is a default so fiat will always be converted to crypto?
2- any idea which countries would be excluded?
1- you'll be able to choose what proportion shall be converted to crypto
2- this has to be investigated a bit more from our law firm

Cool I will keep an eye out for those announcements. from 1 I understand that it is only automatic if I decided that it is. Great to know It would make sense too given the idea is to AI the process and that is part of the automation cycle. Got it.

It seems that he is very active and kind of giving frequent signals, but apart from the effective antivirus, is there any particular reason to believe that his views are any better than others? I am just asking, as I have not bothered to research much  Tongue

He is a very well into crypto given he runs a successful multi(b)million business he knows how to business. He is a security business guy so he sees the value and many companies trust his work and word for that many follow what he says; however am not sure how good he is interms of finance in general but my guess he knows enough to decide and speculate.

But don't forget how fast the price went in few weeks; so it is relatively strong that it did not drop to the value it was like in October for example. I think it is doing quite well and of course a drop is expected. On the other hand crypto is gaining strong momentum it is highly expected to see the greens again soon

Just noticed that there will be a special meetup in Frankfurt next Monday with you guys. Unfortunately, seems to be already full  Sad
The location has a capacity for around 140 people. It'll be first comes, first served, so just be early. https://www.meetup.com/Blockchain-MeetUp-Frankfurt/events/247087980/

Besides that we'll also offer a livestream of the event.

Would love it if you can share the live link when it happens; would we be able to drop some questions during the live event (through any of the open channels); Nice initiative btw to see the team perform live.

I want to be sure about the SVD token; in the whitepaper it says that it is to be used to use the crypto services; it also says that you burn part of those tokens. Why do you need to burn aside from decrease the supply? isn't circulating something that would increase its value in the long run?
2737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Titanium - World's First Decentralised Cloud Services Provider 🚀 on: January 29, 2018, 10:23:35 AM
I guess everybody should know about this news. The first official advertisement of TBISINC. Now we can see TBIS on television and on screens of the @AmericanAir. Please check below twitter link about this news....
https://twitter.com/TBISINC/status/957370630785191936

This is good move but I was just wondering if it's really the right approach. I mean coming up on TV before an audience with mixed feelings about crypto. Do you guys really think those who are yet to accept/know about crypto will appreciate titanium coming coming up on air?

I think it is a great move; Many are afraid of crypto primarily because most of the talk on "tv" is directed by anti crypto organizations (not generalizing) but this is really great you are basically spreading trust among the common banking folks.
2738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Titanium - World's First Decentralised Cloud Services Provider 🚀 on: January 29, 2018, 04:55:26 AM
Buy now or hold? What you guys say?

There's is actually no much difference in outcome irrespective if the choice you pick. But if you have the capital, buy more and hold for profit

I wouldn’t sel anything right now whilst the market is bearish, titanium is Definetly one to hold ink my opinion the prices are still cheap whilst the product isn’t that well known yet. Give it some time for the team to show off there development progress.

Could not agree more mate. This is a hodling project not a selling one. take a look at their mile stones published in their whitepaper you will clearly see this is a longer term value I believe the moment they product or present a product out this will boom
2739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] savedroid ICO - CRYPTOCURRENCIES FOR EVERYONE | PRE-SALE 12 JAN 2018 on: January 29, 2018, 04:53:09 AM

AI is always sounds sexy but the thing that makes me most excited here is their platform. crypto market is indeed a very complicated places for beginners, especially older people and this keeps many from investing in the market. If they are able to deliver a platform with a simple and user friend UI like the promise it will become extremely popular. Atleast in my opinion this is the major part and not the AI.

I agree with you completely. A simple platform in this area has been missing for far too long. For many, trading or saving with cryptocurrencies is still far too complicated.
The app from Savedroid is already very user-friendly, if they can then implement that in the new area with the crypto-currency, it will be like a boost for the project.

I personally came across several who find it hard to get into crypto; They are driven off by the various terminologies and the technicality behind actually trading with various coins, investing in ICOs and the likes. A simple UX would go a long way. I think with this given the actual product is out i think it would be a great test case to see how willing the current user base savedroid has to start using savedroid token.
2740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Zeepin Chain | Changing the Creative Industry on: January 29, 2018, 04:49:19 AM
In the zeepin dapp there are a lot of cool features but one that caught my attention is that there is a forehand security measure that is aim at countering future attacks on nodes and that the decentralized nature of the zeepin blockchain is meant to handle such attacks...

This is a welcome development in the blockchain

It really is, Zeepin Chain presents us with amazing features. The idea that my contents will be safe from plagiarism makes me sleep well at night.  😊

Yea, except one doesn't understand when your intellectual property has been stolen and you have nothing to do about it, will never understand the role Zeepin is playing, plagiarism is really the order of the day in the creative industry of which i'm part of

Yeah exactly and with Zeepin you can register the copyrights of your content and creative assets that you feel are worth protecting, the copyrights are stored securely on the Zeepin Chain and if you find out that someone has used your creation/idea without contacting you they provide ZeeProof which I think allows you to make a claim and Zeepin's legal team will help you take action against the guilty party.

So basically their service sums up to storing your intellectual property on the block-chain, and if needed you can get a certificate that you own that property? This doesn't sound like a huge deal to me. I thought it was more aimed towards protecting your IP within projects that use the Zeepin platform. For example, if you design something for a business on the platform, and later it uses some of your designs without your permission, you have the option to take actions against it (not sure exactly which actions, maybe banning it from the network?). This service really needs a more detailed explanation as nobody seems to know exactly who it'll work.

If I understood correctly that would be a given. Since the underlying platform is unified across all Zeepin services. All Zeepin applications would be using the same ledger. Isn't that the case? If it is not am not sure how would the application interact together.
