I saw that information too, but I don't know for what application the Team requested a patent. All I have found out is, that in Germany it is don't allowed to advertise a product with "patent pending". I think you can advertise it without disclosing any further information. I have seen such things earlier. They should not disclose that secret until patent is granted. I am sure Vanig knows those things. For Germany the patent pending acts different it is not permitted to publicize it as mentioned. Unless maybe the team has registrations where it is permitted. For the the project would have a licensing right. If the patent is on framework they are proposing then if the model is proves successful any idea to imitate it should inquire licensing from them. Can we already buy the router? as it seems nice to have one and test how it goes or are there any reviews about the router from people who already have it? BitFence already developed router? I though they will start working on this once softcap is reached. If router is ready then its really good news. I do not think they are done yet. But I have not found any specific information. For this I have discovered this information: these pre-configured secured routers can be purchased with integrated BitFence 3-month subscriptions to year with very affordable options I am reading subscription fees for the first time. As an investor I think that's good, more revenue from Bitfence is good for me as well :-) It also seems the subscription model is quite suitable in this case since you will be constantly getting updates. Since it is a subscription mentioning affordable is also really important. I think it would be great if subscription are pain using Bitfence tokens. |

According to the Whitepaper, yes they have already a working product. The Bittwatt Team will use 55% of the funds for expansion and marketing purposes. The first country will be Turkey in Q2 2018. If they have already started with in those countries than they have came a long way. It seems the current models is working quite well and time for expansion is on the table. Not bad. |

I can't see an exact total of Bittwatt tokens sold on the homepage live counter, however if I was to hazard a guess, I think they sold approximately 85%, it is a shame there isn't an exact amount on the counter. if it's any help at all if you weren't aware, they tweeted "We have collected the $25,300,000 for the soft cap. 🎉Thank you everyone for the amazing support! ICO phase 3 is currently ongoing with a 10% bonus." Pretty promising and glad to hear they have smashed the softcap, 25million is a serious amount of cash for an ICO. Energy is our lifeblood that's the theme of this video, man can you imagine a world without energy?  Yet man can't even effectively utilize this power and allows for wastage, this video made my day! It is really interesting to know that most operations today or process involve work that is mostly just leftovers of outdated process and lack of technology. To have a unified platform would really rid most of the redundant work. It is basically saying you will save in energy by efficiently managing output of each. |

Vanig simplifies and eliminates intermediaries and manual processes and brings in transparency to the entire Supply Chain process.
Removing the intermediaries/third-parties will make it cheaper for customers, but it also means Vanig will need to manage all aspects of the supply chain, which means a lot of hard work. One of the major reason why product are expensive is because of the many level of middlemen so removing them will make product cheaper and available. I think vanig wili have to start small considering the magnitude of work involve. The huge cut-off each middleman takes in a long supply chain is indeed a big problem. This way the local producers/farms only get a very little share of the profit. Also the redundant costly steps in the middle since you would involve various parties and alot of logging using different tools and systems since each entity would use its own system so the data is not really unified and can't really make much use of it. Basically lacks standardization. This could really solve that too. |

Would be very interested what will be better for mining, GPU or CPU? Is it possible that we can also mine with out phones and not killing the battery life and processor? when are they going to launch the full version? I really doubt this is a sensible / doable option. This is why they said yyou can run it on a raspberry pi, it's essentially the same size as a mobile phone but more powerful and can run 24/7. Before sometime I was read one article about mining. In that article they clearly mentioned "Mining on phone can damage CPU and battery of". So I don't think so it will work on phone. The idea of damaging cpu or battery is a farse it depends what kind of mining or calculations it’s doing playing a game on a phone uses just as much processing power as mining would m. Not saying it’s cost effective but it’s possible isn't the mining ONLY through the honeypot? I don't remember seeing anything about conventional mining as well, otherwise what is the point in running the honeypot? That was my understanding as well. The honeypot is the focus; it is like a recording device that tracks all activity that hits it and share it with the algorithm in the platform. There are many information in circulation that are rendered useless because there are no grounds for it. Just mere process that was inherited decades ago, especially when it comes to buying and selling electricity from private sectors. Lots of paper work that is useless; it is there just because it was there some years back; technology is not advancing as the techniques. It seems bittwatt is set to solve this.

I just looked at the roadmap, after starting the pilot project in the Philippines & Malaysia, it's off in Vietnam, Singapore and Hong Kong. Unfortunately, it will take until 2024 before Vanig will be available in Europe and the US. That is still a very long wait for us
For me this is not a big issue. Project should start somewhere and move ahead to other places and continents. If they are starting in Asia, which is also a very big market to capture. Agreed; you can hit all market at once. There is fierce competition around US and europe and starting there would mean delaying Asia market. If the idea is proves to properly work it will scale with ease to other regions. Plus there are many suppliers around those areas so it just makes sense as a business decision. |

Great, in the whitepaper, there is already a list of countries in which they want to offer their services. My country is also there, that makes me very happy. local energy providers must own 1,000,000 BWT and have at least 50,000 customers. So if responsible electricity providers read along, this is your chance!

So the marketplace would address most issues. |

All other projects are concentrating in Europe and USA. So this is a smart move by Vanig. Asia is not a small market and not easy also to be honest. May be Vanig has some base there in those countries? Asia is a smart business decision if you ask me. A lot manufacturing goes in there as well and I think accessing it is somewhat easier than the rest given the competition and regulations (singapore...etc). Maybe some countries are hard than others but generally i think it is a good move. |

Thats right, the Bitfence Team will help companies to secure their business and also secure every private person who use their hard- and software. I’m excited to see the first release of software I’m hoping they release in a way that will allow for other parties to integrate and tie into things like openwrt that would take the availability of the platform to a very large level I am not sure which language is used for the software but I presume it would be cross platform something like python maybe or java. So integration with exists OSes regardless would not be an issue. Openwrt included. |

Will they be able to replace insurance companies completing?... They can only be better than insurance companies but i don't think aidoc insurance model will take over health insurance completely. It is an options for usage. It maybe convenience to most or at least to ones that utilize the crypto. You will end have having a variety of options to choose from in one single place and they all accept the same currency. Blockchain has been implemented at most of the fields these days. Energy sector is the best one to get this implemented and this will have huge reach including common man to be honest. Bittwatt is going to play an important role in this energy domain as their project focus is one of the best that I am seeing these days.
I wouldn't say that blockchain technology has already been implemented at most fields. Yes, there are already projects that want to implement blockchain for a huge variety of fields but it's still in its early stages when you look at a wider adoption. The energy sector is predestined for the use of blockchain and I am sure in 5 years (or something like that) from today we will see it almost everywhere. The blockchain is still fairly new compared to many existing technologies. It will go or is undergoing major updates and tuning which will make it possible for even more applications to be built on top. It is a great thing that many are utilizing the network in innovative ways. This is one example being able to consume resources from a single platform. |

Interesting so basically different providers will be able to connect with different consumers through the token. Like a unified platform to obtain various services using the same token.
This means I will be able to get cheaper deals; for example electricity providers all in one place competing.
