I think the idea is pretty simple; aside from the many details stated in the whitepaper; the goal is straight forward which is to solve the electricity issue with crypto since you consume way way alot of Watts; so they wanted to solve that; they already have a plant too. |

Interesting that the total supply of Polyswarm tokens will not be decided until the end of the ICO when the amount of ETH raised has been calculated. I do like this idea because it ensures the correct amount of tokens are created.
So it is not really pre-mined; I think this approach ensures success of ICO since you are not basing the decision on the caps. Pretty smart move. The idea and execution is quite innovative. I guess one should bookmark this. |

Hey, I don't think so that could be matter investing in 47Seven. Because they fixed theirs transaction method like cryptocurrency(ETH, BTC) and using Master/VISA card. As girib mentioned it would only matter if you are raising your funds in USDs; since it is fixed in ETH it should not matter anyway. The drop that is taking place is expected since it has been the case ever since with crypto. Nothing is new. |

Good question, really would be nice if their was a way that investors could get an early look at what to expect and what we will see out of the platform, as the entire idea is great, but actually seeing how it will line up with expectations the sooner is the better as it will allow investors to also give feedback earlier and perhaps help to catch missteps before they happen to push for a successful product longterm. While i agree, you have to also remember the crypto market security is only a very tiny piece of the overall security research market, so while its probably the initial target of polyswarm the fact is the market for security research and reward is massive. Security vulnerabilities is a huge industry in itself, so anything that can streamline that process and the work vs reward paradigm would be a huge benefit. The trick is to keep the Polyswarm tokens valuable as an incentive. Just think about where cybersecurity plays an important role. Big companies that need to protect their industrial secrets. Even for governments, cybersecurity becomes more and more important. Everything is moving to internet or shared network, so now hacking is become very common and big problem. I have seen now even crypto currency exchanges got hacked many time so project like Polyswarm can play very big role in this area. In many cases the hacks happen due to bad behavior from users; for example having one anti-virus software and counting on it to provide the best possible protection; there is always this comparison of which antivirus is the best. It seems to have an interesting business plan. It could be a good investiment!
I have a strong believe Luxcess will be a goods investment if they successfully implement all their features mentioned on their whitepaper. There are a lot of features and Luxcess will need to raise a lot of funds to make sure their plans are implemented correctly. I think the ICO will go very well but I hope Luxcess will start using the funds to develop their project immediately, some projects wait a month or two before they take the next steps, in this game you need to be quick to keep investors happy. I mean luxcess has this one advantage against all the other projects. They will just go on with what they are doing around the last years. So with more money the development of the fund should be going on fast. They a working product that has been around for a time now. I think now the effort maybe is to get some big names on board to keep things motivated. I doubt the development is a major concern given they have had something going on anyway. |

Actually true but some projects have made it big by actually just being on only ED through pumping and market strategies before they eventually move on to other exchanges.
Honestly while exchanges help to get visibility out their, they aren't a huge roadblocker for a quality project, i mean if if the project is in demand enough and people want to get it they will go to etherdelta or idex to get the coin. The fact is relying on huge big exchanges as the only source of growth isn't a longterm strategy for success. The team like savedroid have their own plans beyond just exchanges to increase demand and increase tokens perceived value which is what really matters at end of the day. Exactly, a great project will easily get a good volume on Etherdelta, too. And for Savedroid we already have HitBTC confirmed. So what I wanted to point out is that the Savedroid team shouldn't feel themselves under pressure to present us the next big exchange. Sure, we all would be happy but in my opinion it shouldn't their top priority. That is the problem with ED it is limiting; you can't be sure that your order would go through. well the order does not update in a timely manner it is super slow at times several hours. But it is always an option. |

have just seen in the business model that only 5% of tokens go to the founders. Such a low proportion is not often seen in ICOs.

I can think of why this is a good move and also a not a cool one too. So it is basically saying that the team is no whale to control the price of the whole thing. but at the same time owning a good portion would act as a support to the token price given you care about the project. We all hope that, but HitBTC is good for the start. I guess other exchanges will take a look at the trading volume on HitBTC and when they see that there is a huge demand for SVD tokens, they'll probably wanna list Savedroid aswell and the negotiations of the Savedroid team will become much easier.
HitBTC seems to be the goto for accessibility, it's not too small, and isn't annoying to get into and at the same time doesn't drain the financial reserves of the ICOs. The fact is the big binance and kucoins and poloniex exchanges and the likes, are just insanely expensive to get listed in, i read some of the numbers recently and it was astonishing that anyone gets listed at the rate they charge to get listed initially. Best bet to keep things realistic as you said is to have good volume and liquidity in hitbtc and smaller exchanges, and get noticed and voted in to the bigger exchanges, its the best way to get in without the devs having to take a hit to the ICO funds just for a "better" listing. As far as I know hitbtc is quite accessible unlike other exchanges; however they are costly but I guess that the other side of it; if you think of it is more like a portal to other exchanges. most exchanges would not list you unless you have some traction in other exchange. savedroid is one ico that would not have any issue with listing. it seems they have a good reach. |

It's really good to hear that your already lining up announcements for right after the ICO completes. This is something that really excites me as it means that you guys will hopefully be able to keep up the cadence and the flow from the ICO. Which i feel is a really important part of the ICO is the Post-ICO flow, keeping people's attention on the team and project after the ICO not just during is a huge boost to getting demand up even after the launch, so very excited to hear you guys are actively working on post-ico rollouts. Yeah this is generally true but if the hardcap won't be reached, the project will continue with reduced goals, lets see how the event in Moscow goes, this will give us a good idea which direction this project is headed I think that would not be an issue given they have already had/been having tracking from quite sometime now. What would be important is how they address most concerns in the Moscow event. I hope it goes well. |

There is shortage of IT expert/cyber security experts. And by 2021 3.5 million cyber security experts job will be unfulfilled. Project like polyswarm can help in dealing this problem.
this is a really big problem, there are far too few qualified people in this area. What should big companies do in the future if their IT departments are not well staffed? Outsource the security. and that can be a great opportunity for Polyswarm it is a big problem which is only going to get worst and worst as technology gets more advanced, so I'm glad Polyswarm is looking to implement a system which will fix the real life problem.... These are the projects which are going to be the most successful due to the high demand That is the problem with current solutions.
