It is the most critical milestone to have an MVP. Without the MVP the problem you are trying to solve is unclear. The team can then expand on the MVP as they collect the feedback from the users.  Which brings me to the question who are the users so far? any information on that?

I am not sure but I guess right now they are only testing it team-internally. I don't think there are public closed-beta testers. Otherwise, there would have been a possibility to apply for a beta testing spot, right?

Users are expected to be able to test the MVP next week, which is already in some posts above. Now they prefer to test it internally, an error-prone MVP does not make a good impression.
Think the MVP will then look very good and give us a good impression of the platform.
I am looking forward to it

But it is expected in MVP for errors to show;  You want them to show to be able to cater a more capable solution. From what I have understood they are still closed beta but I am not sure with whom. Looks like next week is going to be real something.

Thing that interests me is I wonder if the prices will fluctuate during the day? For example in the evenings when alot of people are at home, using electric etc would it be more expensive than say the dead of night, or during the working day.. Going to be interesting to see what arbitrage opportunities there are.

I am curious also how will the use of electricity dictate the price of bittwatt in the market and as the price of electricity is more of a stagnant one will bittwatt see its price change frequently.

I don't expect price fluctuations in hourly basis. But it's possible that price will change on weekly basis. Energy prices will change based on demand and supply and we need to identify how and when it change Smiley

The price is always bound to demand and supply in my opinion. Actually during the day I think the cost would be higher because of business consuming a lot of energy to run it processes. Home consumption is not as heavy as businesses'. This is all going to be exciting to see in action.

Yeah you are actually right... Lots of power is consumed during the day time both from businesses, schools, construction companies and home use but at night less energy is used as almost everyone is resting.

This is true, and already visible on old style power exchanges and even on your own power bill in most countries you'll see that their are onpeak and offpeak hours for power, thats why theirs a big push towards people having their own battery systems for their houses so they can store at night and power from battery during peak hours.

I'd imagine we will see similar type of price fluctuations but more natural and based on real supply and demand in a system like bittwatt

Having an open market would really push for better services from providers given it is easier to access competition. Finally we will be able to see some great deals; it has always been a tough market dealing with energy suppliers.

Are you serious? that is really great news; does this mean that they already have a list of suppliers in their platform? I know they were planning expansion to Bulgaria but was not aware that already had partners ready to sell using Bitwatt. So this basically means it all up to the exchanges to list bitwatt. I think COSS have landed a good one.

According to the Vanig Telegram channel, the MVP is in beta testing and will released next week. It is a good sign, that the MVP will be available before the Presale begin. This will push the project and attract more potential investors.

This is great news i just confirmed from their telegram channel as well, i trust investors will be glad to know about MVP release, really do give Vanig presale a boost looking forward to the release date.

Yes, they seem to be moving up to speed, they've done a lot of activities this past week which has made me change my mindset about this project, i was kinda skeptical at the beginning but after joining their telegram group and seeing things for myself, i became convinced and my perception changed about the project, Vanig may be new in a competitive ecosystem but they seem to have the will to take up the challenge

The mvp is a critical milestone I am glad that it will move out of the closed beta phase to the open beta. I am not sure how many suppliers are on board or the mvp would be functional or not but this is great move. Proper timing as well. The recent event they sponsored also did quite well expanding exposure.
1727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 [ANN][ICO] BITFENCE - REMOVE HACKERS FROM YOUR NETWORK on: May 12, 2018, 04:14:30 AM
BitFence is most efficient and cost effective protection from hackers compared to FireEye, McAfee, RSA and others. Looking forward to this project achievements in the coming yeara

Its funny, will like to know on which basis you are comparing bitfence and the likes of McAfee, fireeye and rsa. I would only predict maybe in the future but no i think all those companies are far ahead.

True those entities are quite established and well funded. However I think the approach differs. I am not sure what mcAfee will become given its ICO...etc However I think the collaborative nature in this idea differs; that case where you have multiple nodes working together collaboratively to learn hackers patterns and protect against those behaviors; you have a pi like device doing the mining so you are proactively protecting instead of re-actively doing so.

Hello! when are you planning listing on big exchanges like a binance, huobi and etc.
am participate in bounty and wait good moment to sale BWT)

When it comes to ICO, there is a phase, so at the moment, the project is more concentrated with having a successful phase of sales, after that comes the period of listing, so is all about patience, the project will definitely come to that and i don't think is wise for the project to talk about the listing because an unexpected event may come up that will lead to some shift or probably a change in an exchange that was once stated, such scenario may cause uproar in the community

I don't think there was a project listed in binance or the likes early on; at least not recently to the extent of my knowledge that is. I don't think it is easy getting into the bigger exchanges. It would make more sense listing in small medium exchanges and building your way from there.

Vanig posted an article about 5 aspects how blockchain will change the e-commerce-systems of the future, you may take a look

https://medium.com/vanigplatform/five-aspects-of-e-commerce-that-blockchain-will-transform-7268f74d313d

Thanks for the article. A great summary of the aspects, why we need a project like Vanig and the influence of blockchain in future e-commerce market.

Good article, the points it mentions are interesting.  I think visibility is going to be even more important in the future, look at Amazon, you can even see how many stops away from your house they currently are.   if they do it right, you could see where your order is, and if your at work, go home and meet the delivery driver before they arrive.   The reviews section is interesting as well, especially with the scandle around buying fake Amazon reviews a few years ago.  With the blockchain, you could literally track the moment of purchase to verify that the review came from a legit source who purchased and used the product.  Can't wait to see this fully implanted.

The reviews is rather interesting; the only worry is that the say a product did badly it can't change its history if it starts doing well. I think the tracking of product is what would it stand among the others.

Bittwatt is present at Future Banking, event focused on digitalisation and innovations in the banking and payments industry. Major companies such as: VISA , Revolut, Monzo are present at the event. The project is really making more progress

Sometimes the world don't know the true power of an innovative idea until someone push them to see It. I think activities like this from the part of bittwatt will make the world see the importance of what they are offering. Kudos bittwatt

No one will actually know if a good project exist or not, unless the team goes out there and do some marketing, bittwatt understands that is doing well in that aspect and i'm pretty sure that's the main reason the news about the project is like everywhere, these live events are really helpful and if you've noticed, ICO is not like how it used to be where you get something even when you do nothing, now the game has changed and only the strong will survive

I am a strong believer in the live events; they allow you to see how the team can actually perform; since you will be exposed to random questions and sometimes really tough ones and how the team responds is very important.  Aside from the exposure it is very important to see the team perform. I think they have been doing a good job and especially the COSS partnership was a smart move.

Yesterday evening when I visited website I found 597+ ETH raised yet. What I seen today, 615+ ETH raised yet Shocked. I am sure they will achieve their MAIN SALE also in minimum time.
They have raised a lot of ethereum already and the amount keeps increasing. I think that this project will be very popular if they continue to grow at this rate.

The sale has been going quite well; the community is also starting to show attention to it. I think the last video of crypto for the people (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bb6_L1WwjIk) made a good impact currently at 1600+ views.

1600+ views and counting on YouTube means it has got a lot views in other social media which equally means the project has a lot of exposures as well adding up both qualitatively and quantitatively as per investors, I like project like this Cool

THis is pretty good for such a new project like BitFence, it goes to show the advertising they are doing is helping and need to keep pushing on the marketing and advertising to show how the potential of this project. 688ETH raised so far

Oh nice they're upto 688 now? Looks like they're getting something like 20 ETH a day in investments, about $500k so far then (As the market crashed a little this morning)

20 ETH a day are not bad, but it is still a long way to the next goal of 2000 ETH. A few big investors would not be bad now

Regarding small crash this morning, do you have any idea why this happened today?

I am not sure where the honeypot (software) is at right now; I have seen their twitter publications on the OEM devices they set for bitfence. The concept is great to have that small device do the mining; I would love to see the software and I think the software would yield great exposure.

When you say "real time shipment tracking: yes (above $50 purchase)" do you mean the seller will be forced to send via a trackable shipping method only in that case, or will users be able to pay extra for adding a tracking number?

They might enforce it, I wouldn't want someone to send me a tablet pc for instance via non-tracked post.  Look at companies like Amazon, you can spend like £5 and get real time tracking and GPS of where your goods are, I imagine it'll be the same.

That makes sense as a business decision; You need a way to sustain profitability and provide value to the end user. As Darkoth89 said in other well known retails you actually pay extra for extra features; I think it was smart setting the live tracking or bounding it to the total amount purchased. Now you are creating an incentive for people to get what they need off the platform.

Which countries do you plan to have Bittwatt present at? Do you have contacts at any international energy company so as to ensure any future international expansion goes smoothly?

There is a map in their website; Romania is for sure given it is a Romanian startup. They plan expansion to Bulgaria, Serbia and Macedonia.  Hungry and the UK as well as Singapore would be next in line followed by Austria. If you go to https://www.bittwatt.com/business you will more details there.

I learnt that vanig is starting their business in Asia. Well that's good but I would advice that they get to Europe and America in due time. Because American entrepreneurs have a way of excelling in business.

Sincerely why they picked Asia as their starting point is what I don't know for sure. One would expect them to concentrate on Europe more than any other continent.

Asia is a really lucrative market to start off from; There are many perks to starting in Asia; Singapore for example takes 3 days to start a business; don't forget too that most manufacturing is outsourced to Asia. I think it was a wise move going there.

i found another youtube review of bitfence (they posted it themselves on twitter)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uen9xDquXJQ&feature=youtu.be

this guy explains the whole thing very well and above all in a very quiet way:-)

Honestly I think these video are like narrations to the website or the whitepaper Cheesy. I understand that some just go through the video instead of actually going through the whitepaper; I personally do my own readings to know where my money is going. I mean I am not sure if those youtubers charge for the review or not but Personally I feel there are many details on the whitepaper that are really important. Especially how the idea would be carried out.

In what exchanges Bittwatt will be listed firstly? And which are the planned ones, do we have any information about them.

As you can read in posts above, after the ICO Bittwatt will be listed on Coss.io. CoFounder Christian Hagmann was an advisor to Coss, so they share a common history. It will be a good partnership

It's a clever strategic partnership, it greatly benefits both Coss.io & Bittwatt. Hopefully this will be a long-standing partnership and Coss can be the exchange thjat has the biggest volume of BTW trades on it... you never know! Cheesy

I have went on to try coss; I am surprised there is no API yet; their UI is very smooth i have to say that. I think it is a good start if bittwatt pulled this through. One thing I am confused about right now is, their south east asia's operation precisely Singapore; I see it on the map but whats its deal?

Hello! I really like your project. Tell me, is there an MVP or a prototype of the project?

I was wondering, too and asked in their Telegram chat. Someone told me to check the FAQ on their website and there it says that an early demo of the platform will be available in May 2018. I don't think it has been released, yet but it's planned for the next couple of weeks.

Yea, the admin said in their telegram group that it is still been refined and tested, so the public will get the chance to test it real soon and if i may suggest, is best one joins their telegram, the place is lively and the admin is ever willing to respond to questions, also, Vanig just sponsored fundingpost, an event for ICO in New York city and is all part of promoting the project

If I am not mistaken too I think there were screen shots of the system share on telegram. According to them we should see something later this month if I am not mistaken. They have posted the images of the event in their telegram channel as well. I have seen those.

I was going through some details on their page and seen that the technology when it comes to tracking energy transaction is mostly on paper. To preserve history of trade you will need to get back to paper simply because accordingly to what they say is that energy trade is quite outdated. This is a very rich sector I am just surprised it is not up to date on that front.
1739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 [ANN][ICO] BITFENCE - REMOVE HACKERS FROM YOUR NETWORK on: May 10, 2018, 09:28:18 AM
BitFence offers you a better protection from hackers at lower cost. They takecare of your security, so you can concentrate on growing your business.

I don't have a clue, how the Bitfence Team will better protection for their customers, regardless a private person or a company,  for a lower price. But they have a plan.

Clients and potential clients are willing to pay if they get a good value for their money, that been said, the price may likely not be an issue, as long as BITFENCE can deliver a very good product, which the community will approve of but one thing is certain, been a decentralized platform, i don't think they will charge something much, so lets just hope for the best

Even though it's expected that with further improvements and development there might likely be an increase in the price but then, I don't think it will be a huge increase as such

I think it would be worth the team doing an AMA at this stage; I am not sure if there was one before but I think many of the questions around is about the competition. There is a thin line between the cyber security ideas out there. The ultimate goal might be the same (fighting off hackers) but the execution is different. I would recommend an article detailing the difference.

I have been meaning to ask this for sometime; it seems they have filed a patent application under the number 15936458. Any idea in which database that is?  from the description provided it seems that the aims to cover a good section of the eCommerce on the blockchain. I want to know the specifics any link to it?
