1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will mining pools exist after 2100? on: July 20, 2020, 08:32:33 PM
I don't even think that we can safely assume that bitcoin will exist in 2100, so why worry about the splitting of the satoshis generated by mining pools?
Crypto is evolving at a crazy speed and the world... well, in January who would guess we would be where we are now... and besides, in 2100 probably we won't be alive to se it anyway...
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Argentina’s telecommunications hacked, demands Monero for ransom on: July 20, 2020, 08:28:33 PM
Hackers are definitely getting more expert, Monero is a wise choice to avoid tracking... the world needs to face digitalization as soon as possible instead of turning their backs to it... this kind of thing will be happening more and more until society is ready for these attacks, and this means to have professionals and departments to deal with this kind of stuff
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: It's always about your choice on: July 19, 2020, 02:26:55 PM
I agree with you... people tend to blame the bounty manager and usually if the project fails they'll be loosing way more than any bounty hunter... they are doing their job which is managing the bounty and the hunters and make the bridge between the project owners and the bounty hunters... if the project fails it makes a lot more sense in blaming the hunters as they are not doing their advertisement job correctly...
The choice of the project is more important than anything these days
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to transmit funds from an exchange to relatives on: July 19, 2020, 02:20:33 PM
I have wondered about this myself, I don't think it will be easy or even possible for relatives to gain access to exchange accounts, especially if these are not kyc verified... and besides, who will know about your assets and their location?... only way I've found is to instruct one person about all the stuff and share a copy of the access keys...
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I found out from Twitter. on: July 19, 2020, 02:14:42 PM
I think that twitter has to provide security for it's users, only twitter and the scammers are to blame... well, and also the scammed for being greedy and not paying attention...
If the scam is made in USD, EUR, BTC or whatever... no one really cares...
and if the authorities wanted to track the money flow, they would do it either in USD as in BTC... mixers will work only up to a certain point
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum (ETH) Price on Course to $300 on: July 18, 2020, 09:17:23 PM
Before the last bull run ETH stayed around 300-330usd for quite sometime If I remember correctly, and looking at the steady climb witnessed on the last few months, added to the pending changes/possible improvements on the project, I would not be surprised to see it there any time soon...
let's hope it does, ETH is one of the crypto world engines
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most searched cryptocurrencies on Google on: July 18, 2020, 09:14:12 PM
Interesting results... I think that Bitcoin SV is less known by the few masses that gain interest on crypto, it just popped up not so long ago and people don't care that much about "one more bitcoin"...
Concerning Binance coin, I think it is also natural as it has a limited interest for people not using the exchange... for these it becomes only speculation
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would you buy/use Bitcoin if you knew its price would not reach a new ATH? on: July 18, 2020, 09:08:15 PM
Yes, as I would use it for payments and savings, especially if it keeps on growing... I think it would turn into a less speculative asset and it would assume a definitive "store of value " characteristic
If it would remain stagnant I would be less enthusiastic about it but would hold some anyway
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Altcoins Failed To Win Over Bitcoin on: July 17, 2020, 10:39:06 PM
I definitely do not see this thing as a failure... yes, some alts aim to improve bitcoin use case, but many have nothing to do with it, and I do not think we can look at it as a race to number one... like choosing the best between the burger and the chips...
No doubt BTC is the best known crypto out there, but there are many alts that are also capable to change the world
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins joins the bank on: July 17, 2020, 10:34:56 PM
I think JP Morgan made some FUD efforts to get loaded with BTC in order to become a market maker and get a piece of the action... It is something like "if you can't beat them, join them", but also "there's money there, how can we get it?"...
These guys are always smelling the same thing... money
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oldest scam in the book can help you make money on: July 17, 2020, 10:31:41 PM
In part I do agree with you... people that fall for this kind of cheap trick are too blinded by greed to even think about what they are doing... this is a children trick... but I also do not see how you can conclude that these are all well-established greedy people, maybe there are also innocents in the mist and this is why we should not laugh at others disgrace
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: July 12, 2020, 09:16:47 PM
It is hard to say as there any things depending from banks, not just money keeping... and there are also a lot of people to whom it will be difficult to enter the crypto world for several reasons, mainly age and lack of base infrastruture...
But I think that if an event would terminate all the banks, the world would not go into the dark ages, it would jump ahead to a fully digital economy... at this point we don't really need banks because we have crypto... and after an adjustment phase I bet we would do a lot better managing our own finances and not paying those blood suckers
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: NEW STYLE OF CAMPAIGN on: July 12, 2020, 09:11:32 PM
If the rule is stated at the beginning of the bounty I see no problem, it is the same as kyc, it is each hunter own right to join or not... and the same applies to the manager, they are within their own right to impose the rules they think are best fit for their campaign...
I would not subscribe a bounty like that because it seriously limit one's freedom... I agree that there should be rules in place to avoid brust spamming, but limiting the number os counted posts per day is enough, I think
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your favorite crypto for gambling? on: July 11, 2020, 09:01:47 PM
I think that online gambling seems to be growing since the virus outbreak, and the number of good casinos featuring crypto seems to be also growing...
I like EOS, I have chosen it at first because my favourite gambling site was dealing a lot with EOS and after using it is fast, no issued, and the site feature of proven fair gambling by using EOS hash is great
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Timing to Hodl tokens is very important. on: July 11, 2020, 08:52:52 PM
I agree with you, the difficult part is to find out that time... or as find out your entry points and your targets so that you take the best possibe advantage of the trade... some people know that almost instinctively, unfortunately I am among those who are always on the wrong side of the fence Smiley
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto success takes time on: July 10, 2020, 09:09:50 PM
I think that the timeline of the project is important, but it has to be drawn with a realistic and professional view... most projects trace unreal objectives due to the lack of experience of their teams, if the schedule is drawn correctly, investors will know that it takes time and will support the project for the whole track...
I note that there is a serious lack of professionalism both from the teams and also investors.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New investors are too impatience on: July 10, 2020, 09:05:13 PM
I agree with you, most crypto investors choose crypto with the illusion that they'll get rich quick, and they do not care about the projects, they just want it to rise so that they can collect...
In the old days people were more aware of the potential of blockchain to change our lifes and were more involved in the projects
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ChainLink - Sell or Hold for some more time? on: July 10, 2020, 09:02:24 PM
The old dilema: it is a great time to take some profit, but what if it goes to the moon soon after? or it will be a good point to hold a bit longer as it might keep on going up,  but what if it falls unexpectedly and go under your price staying there for months?
You never know as in crypto anything is possible
the best choice is to take a partial profit and hold the rest... set up your targets and you are good to go
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Even More Evidence of Coronavirus as Financial Reset on: July 09, 2020, 10:13:58 PM
I think this HCQ issue is a clear demonstration of the economical powers that rule stuff behid the scenes... on one hand someone wants to sell HCQ to covid-19 patients and this would be an imense deal, and on the other hand there is the competiton that wants to get HCQ out of the scene...
only time will tell if any of these thesis are actually true
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: One game vs a variety: which gives higher potential to a casino? on: July 09, 2020, 10:09:38 PM
I think that having a range of games to choose from is the best choice as you always have something else to play after you get frustrated in a specific game, it allows you to choose according to your mood and it just seems more apealing than to have a whole casino dedicated to that one game
