It really depends on the project and on the job done and resulting marketing impact... some projects have more success than others. some pay better, others not but I think the main thing here is that rewards are in crypto, this is money now... and if the current value is 8$ and you chose a good project (means exaustive previous research), on a few months it will be much higher depends on how you face bounties I guess

you are right about bounty hunters accepting everything too easily, this makes us always the weak link, the ones easy to scam... being in terms of reward, KYC, etc but we also have to note that most bounty hunters do a shitty job, and if we measure their impact in terms of marketing it is close to zero... so, it goes both ways, I guess that the whole space has to evolve and grow up...

at this point in the crypto-world history, everything is possible... and this is much plausible KYC is a very dangerous business as you'll share your personal info and documents with persons/companies you don't know and the devs rarely go through KYC... especially people doing KYC for bounties, these guys are probably getting into every dark web kyc sale list available... I am very carefull with this...

really nice!!! Everything is getting ready for adoption... if commercials start to spread, it will not be long until everyone wants to get BTC... It is time to start doing some heavy promotion on BTC... before arriving Libra, chinese digital coin, or whatever will come thanks for the post, would not see it otherwise

Free altcoin can be collected from faucets and airdrops... but be carefull because 99% of these are scammy... If you want to work for it, I would suggest bounties.... some campaigns take more time and work, but they also reward better... bounties are also difficult these days, because most of them are scams or projects that will certain fail... you need to choose well and read a lot so that you don't end up working for nothing

Although I consider myself as a believer, I wouldn't have the courage to put all my savings in BTC... volatility is too high and things just change too fast... It will depend on the level in which you bought in, but I would hold, bag in hand, waiting for the best opportunity... remember, pacience is one of the most important things in crypto... I would bet the bull run is still comming and that this downfall is just normal movement after the rise since April....

Although the op is partially correct, we need to consider several aspects, being one that the amount might be worthless for some, or a weeks pay for others, depending where you come from geographically... Good projects are definitely becoming really scarce, and most are scams or turn into one... but this is not happening only in ICO/IEO... it's all over crypto... We need to cooperate to make things better, educate people to spot the cheaters and the scammers...

oh, the long awaited alt season... by now they are already loosing again... I don't think we are there yet... I am also waiting with fingers crossed but the market doesn't seem to want to cooperate... there are very promising altcoins, but I think that there are still too many s*it coins around, and these need to go...
this is a very dubious question as most people will be advising you in their own interest, I strongly suggest that you research and get informed enough to decide for yourself... with so many projects around it is not easy... start on the top-50 cmc coins and give them a general check... on new coins, I am pretty exited about Beam, as i see a lot of potential in them

this is a good discussion... I would say that both BTC and alts look apetizing now with the downfall, but I have already thought about this before, and in the end they have kept on falling ... I guess that it is very difficult to know what will be happening... I think I just don't have the touch... Should maybe seek a balance between BTC and alts?
I don't think that anyone has the right answer for that... Crypto is on a crossroad... BTC is old and can't get there without patches, so we are hoping for the Lightning Network to work... as BTC is the strongest and most known coin, it is the one with chances for global adoption...so, fingers crossed, and hope that BTC tech can be updated

the truth is that not only investors get scammed, hunters too... and hunters are so easy to scam ... There is no respect for hunters, so there is also no quality in their work... it is an unfortunate cycle... I have had my share of useless bounties, in such a way that right now I only work on 1-2 at a time... good projects are becoming hard to find... I'm tired of working for nothing

There are so many factors that inluence the ICO market... - risk factors - at this moment the risk perception is very high, people are more suspicious and are basically waiting for the market - projects - The ICOs I've seen lately are just blunt scams, or copies of other projects... the best projects around have migrated to IEO - market - the whole crypto market is waiting for the bull run, so things are a bit paused in many projects - US regulations So many scams and failures end up killing the idea, nevertheless it is possible that if the market comes back, the ICO's will do too... Bitcointalk has a lot of ANN and Bounty, but at this moment they are mostly IEO...

This is interesting, nevertheless the points raised by other users are valid ... tweeter hashtag use doesn't easily connect to BTC adoption Don't see the recent bump to 11k reflected on the chart... Maybe crypto users are also jumping to other social apps? there are several tokenized ones for example...

so many times I've read or eard something about the upcomming alt season... at first I was hopefull, then started to wonder, now I think that if it happens eventually it will be when it happens no point in keep waiting for it people need to start using their crypto instead of holding all the time, this will develop the market and will split the usefull ones from the s*it coins

1000+ years? wooowww... where do you think gold came from? gold has been here forever and humans use it since who knows when... well, the discussion about why we value gold above almost everything is another thing... The point is, you can't compare two completly different things... we can speak about unit of measurement, máx. supply, etc, etc

Is your list based on some facts? or is it just your preferences? With so many altcoins aiming for such different goals, it is very difficult for me to put them into a ranked list... if you mention payment/money coins, I would name BCH as the second, in smart contracts Ethereum would be 2nd, in privacy Beam would be 2nd..... not sure, ut I think it will not take long to have a review on CMC ranks
well, I haven't seen any huge crypto mass adoption... this would only happen when/if crypto would be used by a good percentage of global population nevertheless, there has been a huge increase in awareness and some bold steps towards adoption like payments acceptance, BTC ATMs, etc... so adoption is growing, but it is not mass adoption ... Coins like facebook coin or China coin, will definitely increase adoption, but will endanger the existing cryptos due to the higher volume

BTC is not made to be anonymous, and every service that envolves a third party is also not anonymous as you need to trust the third party (unless the third party can prove that there is absolutely no info retained about the service - not sure if this is feasible) If you need privacy or anonimity, you need to look for privacy coins... not all of them provide a solid service, as there are also some coins like Dash that envolve third parties... I would check out monero, beam, veil, grin... and so on
