61  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto's economic value is surprisingly low :'( on: June 10, 2020, 10:02:00 PM
What would you expect? have you seen the global crypto market cap lately? a bit less than 300billionUSD... this is nothing in comparison with the money moved around by stocks, large businesses, etc...
And crypto users are a true minority...
I think that these factors put together will clearly show the danger something like Libra (with it's billions instant users) or the chinese national crypto currency can pose to BTC and to the existing crypto market....
62  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy after COVID-19 on: June 10, 2020, 09:57:17 PM
I think that there are a lot of things that definitely will never be the same again... some businesses will vanish or their market will shrink dramatically (like restaurants, concerts, live assistance at football games, etc). The demand for online ways to sort out your daily stuff is rising like never before... i don't belive that there will be a turning back after these new ways of living get assimilated by society in general...
National debts are rising, unemployment too (the society is adapting to an online life and there are a lot of jobs that are lost), so central banks are just printing away like crazy...
Don't know if this is the dawn of crypto adoption... but it sure looks like it
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Should You Track The Cryptocurrency Market Cap Before Investing? on: June 10, 2020, 09:50:41 PM
The crypto currency market cap will give you an idea about where it stands in relation to the current market, thus giving you a notion about how much the project is worth... it will also help you to define you aimed profit level, entry/exit targets, etc (by knowing the amount of coin in circulation you can define these values per coin with the help of market cap value)... it can also give you a notion wether some predictions about price are possible or not...
64  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did Covid-19 affect crypto gambling? on: June 07, 2020, 09:00:06 PM
I think that crypto gambling should have been rising as people are sitting at home doing nothing and a lot of them are holding a lot of their crypto and loosing hope on a bull run... perfect combination for spending some crypto by gambling (and note that for a lot of people crypto is not on the same mind compartment as "true" money)
And you are safe from the virus at the same time...  Grin
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The best time to buy is NOW!!!! on: June 07, 2020, 08:54:23 PM
In my oppinion it is always a good time to buy if you are not in a hurry to sell as crypto market keeps climbing from year to year, and your current buy price will mean nothing in a few years... nevertheless you'll need that your chosen projects do not dissapear... and that is the risk...
The best time to buy was during the hardest part of the bear season, but I agree that as more time passes, the alts keep on climbing and you'll get your profits cut...
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance listing can't erase price dump on: June 06, 2020, 08:14:06 PM
No exchange can be a bullet proof test... learning and researching about a project is something essential for someone that is willing to invest in crypto, and nothing can be a substitute for that... people that research and look at things with a critial mind will have a lot more chances of success while people that jump with their eyes blind are severely prone to scams...
In my oppinion this is maybe one of the most important things in crypto
67  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bloomberg: “Bitcoin will approach record high of about $20,000 this year” on: June 06, 2020, 08:10:50 PM
It is always the same music, creating more hype will make the price increase and one of the best things is to shoot predictions of record highs... I really hope we'll have a record high this year, but I have learnt that with BTC you never know and analysis and predictions are just that, reality is another thing...
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A cryptocurrency promoting your enrichment, soon available on: June 05, 2020, 09:27:40 PM
Couldn't quite understand the aim of your idea, it seems that you just found a smart way of promoting a new token where you try to create expectation...
If there is nomoney involved, you should explain a bit more of what you are planning to ask people to do...
Don't like the part where you say that will make everyone rich... that is usually a bad sign...
and also, why communicate through Facebook? why not here? and from all platforms, it had to be Facebook that has the history we all know?
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop blaming bounty hunters on: June 05, 2020, 09:21:06 PM
I think that usually there are a lot of investors dumping to get their quick profit and blaming the hunters... most of times there is not enough coin on the bounty budget to cause such severe dumps....
And on the other hand, a lot of the hunters would surely hold if the project treat them respectfully and gave out some solid clues that they are serious... most of us have already seen to much vanishing projects...
70  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: THINGS THAT CAN'T BE TAUGHT IN TRADING on: June 05, 2020, 09:16:30 PM
I think that there are somethings that come from experiencing and emotions, and each person will collect a different set of experiences and will handle emotions deifferently, these can evolve by trading and analysing our own moves and mistakes...
And there is self discipline, dedication and presistance that must come from inside, and to be a sucessfull trader you'll need all those
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Giving away too much quantities of tokens in bounties on: June 04, 2020, 09:21:25 PM
Well, I think it depends a lot on maximum supply (and this would affect the amount that is reasonable to give to bounty hunters for promoting the project)... and there is the innevitable law that high promises are often void... especially in crypto world... in my experience, when the value is high for bounties this means that hunters will never get it, or because the token price drops forever, or because they will not pay hunters, or even because it is a scam
72  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is like day trading ? on: June 04, 2020, 09:18:08 PM
I do agree that day trading is a lot like gambling... although traders seem to have more tools and theory, the market is so small and so prune to control by a few whales that it turns to be a lot like gambling, a matter of being lucky when your move fits the whale interests... although it is not always like this and there are a few that can actually get something from all those chart theories...
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum planning to take over??? on: June 04, 2020, 09:14:34 PM
Ethereum poised to potentially outperform top crypto coins in near future, with the way I'm sensing things it seem ethereum is becoming more bullish by every minutes, here are few questions for you crypto lovers

1. Can Ethereum take over?
2. What will happen after the POS upgrade?
3. How do you see the 32Eth requirements for staking?

I don't think ETH can take Bitcoin place on a near future, the difference in market cap is so high that I just don't see it happening, although I do agree it is looking bullish...
In my oppinion the POS is a gamble that can easily backfire, mainly due to the 32ETH requiremnt for staking, putting the network into the hands of a relatively smallnumber of actors...
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever got it wrong? on: June 03, 2020, 08:20:08 PM
Looking to the past always helps me to improve, I think this might be the best way to learn because if we admit our mistakes and analyse our own actions, we transform this into life experience that helps to shape our actions on the future and avoid the same mistakes/situations...
For me, getting it wrong is a part of life... getting the same wrong twice is dumbness
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Patience above all will be rewarded here on: June 03, 2020, 08:15:59 PM
It is a delicate balance between the believing on the principles/ possibilities and the business side of BTC... on a certain point of view, things would look better for everyone if there was not so many people after the easy money that show up/vanish in waves related with the sucess or downfall of BTC... but on the other hand the so called "clows" also include honnest people that had the courage to invest their savings (and some also their economic lifes) on something that most do not believe in, just hopping to get enough profit to sort out their life, these would still be around...
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Some Alts for long run investment. on: June 03, 2020, 08:05:56 PM
I also like ZRX and MCO, as for the others, heard good stuff about crypterium and nothing about the others... sorry...
I think that BEAM might be a good investment with the current prices... it has privacy features that surpass most of the others, a great management and team and a combination of privacy and compliance that might be a step ahead...
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Probit Exchange IEO Based Bounties Should Join ? on: May 30, 2020, 08:53:03 PM
Joining a bounty or not is always dependant of a carefull assessment... joining bounties that promise too high rewards, in my experience ends up in too low or no rewards at all...
Probit is just another exchange that is hosting a lot of IEO's... some of them are bad, but some should be good... it is a metter of digging and also a bit of luck
At least with an IEO you have a place to sell your stash, instead of hopping to one day be able to trade it when the project is featured on an exchange
78  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is everyone expecting continuous growth? on: May 30, 2020, 08:50:19 PM
It is really true that things go up and we sometimes forget they can also go down, but in this case (crypto market), I think I understand why people always expect growth... growth should be happening on medium/long term because the user base tends to grow and the market is still relatively small, so there is a lot of room for market caps to rise while more and more users join in...
79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you donate in a casino? on: May 29, 2020, 09:11:13 PM
I think that having the permanent possibility to donate through the casino website would definitely be my choice... and I think it would get a lot more donations as people would donate when they choose to, it is easy and quick, and the probability is that they do so while they are in a good mood... organized tournaments would require a lot more scheduling and effort from the donners...
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why we trust binance exchange? on: May 29, 2020, 09:08:07 PM
Besides the high security level of Binance and high liquidity of the markets, I feel that they do not double cross their users by kidnapping their funds and asking for KYC (for example), or say one thing and do another.... they have conquered the trust of their users because they always come through... I am very suspicious about exchanges and I've already seen a lot and I can tell you that the only place where I feel my exchange funds are relatively safe is Binance...
