Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Most Promising Cryptocurrencies to Invest in 2019
|
on: November 24, 2018, 09:55:47 AM

Although I don't personally like it, it is a fact that XRP seems to be doing quite well in comparison to the others... it seems that in 2019 it will only grow further... ETH is supported by a technology that is unique and is evolving further... this might be the base for a lot of future developments in our society and user-tech... I don't really see it going away... BTC will definitely remain to be the king in 2019... although it is getting old and weary... there is stilll a lot to acomplish with BTC

I agree Learning should be the first step before people dive into the search for profit crazyness... learning is the most dificult part and it allows you to have good judgement when investing/trading/analysing scams... there is also experience that it is needed to use the things that were learnt the best way possible.... experience will come during the learning process, by doing things one step at a time... cheers

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will 90 percent of the coins die?

Most of the coins have to die in order for the market to mature and develop and the good, usefull coins develop and grow... This is the market cleaning! Have you tought about so many coins that do exactly the same? At this point, everything is crashing, it is time to buy and buy (for those who still have money to do it)... top 20 coins are pratically being offered

|
on: November 23, 2018, 08:13:40 AM

Scams are everywhere these days... I definitely think that the best way to fight scams will be attacking the problem on the root... educating people so that they can avoid scams will be the first step... although some scams are basically impossible to detect, most of them can be avoided if people are educated and stop this "get rich quick" behaviour

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Banks Are Coming. Should That Make You Nervous?
|
on: November 20, 2018, 08:11:16 AM
|
well, in the end, a web wallet is nothing more than a crypto bank, as you are trusting someone to take care of your funds, same as centralized ex wallets... Bitcoin banks are comming and surely this won't be the only thing with name "bitcoin something" to be aimed at the general people. With mass adoption, a lot of people will be joining crypto and so the players have to prepare ways of taking advantag of it... banks won't go peacefull into the night

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nobody Buying Cryptocurrency :(

I do not believe that... of course people are buying, otherwise, how could others be selling?? This looks more and more like a golden opportunity to buy all top coins at discount price... can't understand exactly how this happened and/or why, maybe BCH drama, maybe panic selling, maybe one last hard squeeze before the new bull run... it doesn't really matters that much, what matters is that the prices maybe never reach this level again... just look at december 2016 prices... Unfortunately most people have their money tied up and can't fill their bags with these cheap coins

Even more that you don't even know what they are actually doing on your GPU. If they have access to your GPU and your internet, what tells you that they aren't playing in your computer ? hahahahaha, this one is just on the spot... conspiracy theories go a long way... the bad guys can be playing on your computer or maybe even, if they are wild enough, watching some movies on the internet... one can never be safe...

I see this is an old question and I think that most people (me included) have asked this countless times during this year... At this moment, I think this can be the best opportunity to buy ETH... I wish I had some spare crypto... do you remember when it was 8usd? it was not so long ago...

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How long will bounty programs stay with us?
|
on: November 19, 2018, 08:19:31 AM
|
well, like everything else, I think that bounty programs have to evolve, same as bounty hunters and bounty managers... A lot of bounty programs are only spamming and I really doubt their effectiveness... these need to be refined, professionalized and made into real marketing... On the other hand, bounty hunter numbers are rising day by day and the greater part of these does a very bad job (I've done some bounty management and I know what I'm talking about)... people don't even care about what they are doing/writing.... but, truth has to be told... bounty hunters are always on the limbo as they never know if they'll be receiving something for their work... A lot of bots and multi-accounts also steal a lot of the bounty hunters income... So, this is something that needs to be addressed in several angles... and I have no doubt that it will evolve and in some time we'll have more professional bounty programs and bounty hunters...

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH VS EOS who wins?
|
on: November 18, 2018, 09:08:42 AM
|
don't know why people are so eager to find a replacement for ETH... it is of course anger against the price as most people bought ETH higher than 300usd and we are all loosing right now please check how much was 1ETH in Dec2016 - around 8USD... do you think you will ever get to that price again? I am not a tech person, but I think ETH is by far the best "non-transactions aimed" crypto that is out there... for example the ETH protocols are being tested by NASA for space navigation, through the ICOs you can find many projects that are aimed to improve our daily lifes using blockchain... I'm not fundamentalist, so ETH needs to evolve same as the others, we can't face this as a static game... besides, a lot of EOS features are still promises, just like the ETH 2.0

Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin’s Affect on US Banks Money Laundering
|
on: November 18, 2018, 08:55:27 AM
|
It is funny to see how the media serves the purpose of the ones seeking to accumulate more bitcoin at low prices... these guys don't even get to the trouble of doing it in a low profile. Bitcoin is money and the things people to with it are the same they have ever done with the other currecnies... mainly the USD... the tough part is that you can laundry your own money instead of using a bank, and judging by their behaviour, this appears to be a very good part of their income... If the solution for illegal money would reside on taking down the currency itself, than I guess USD would have to be terminated as it is by far the type of currency more widely used in illegal deals globally...

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you most interested in learning about?
|
on: November 18, 2018, 08:35:10 AM
|
well, as you can see, most people are interested only on the money... it is not exagerated to say that money moves the world... I think there are many newbies that rush into shady investments/cooperations just after the quick cash... and this only helps the scammers... At fist I think everyone should try to learn the basics about wallets, addresses, exchanges, transactions and by following this path, there is a certain crypto-common sense that get's inside... For me at this moment I would like to learn more about nodes...

The scams are so many that if you are an active hunter, it would be virtually impossible to avoid them all... You need to be as carefull as possible, avoid any shady projects, pay attention to what you are promoting and to the other posts on the thread... even if you don't find anything suspicious, maybe someone will... If you suspect something, confront the team with it... if it doesn't satisfy you, give up the bounty immediately...remember, we need to change things, and the only way is to not supporting the scammers... besides, you'll never get your tokens, or if you do, they'll be worthless

from the title I though these were good news, but in the end you are only day dreaming from what I see on other users replies, there are already some offering this service, and i believe it will not take long for every airport to accept it... aerotransportation is a business that should not require major adjustments to be able to use crypto same as other currencies... hope we can fly away with btc soon

|
on: November 16, 2018, 08:02:17 AM

Well, I agree with your points, nevertheless there are several details that need to be addressed... If someone needs to copy another person strategy for holding, it won't be capable of developing their own strategy for trading... holding and trading are 2 different things by definition, nevertheless there is a grey area where both cross... for example, holding ETH would be a good strategy at the end of 2016, where you would have bought at 10$ or something like that, but in 2017, as part of a good holding strategy, you should have sold a good part of it above 1000USD and conserve the remainings (that would be very profitable even today)... crypto market is always on the rise for long term views Of course that people that have arrived at the end of last year, and bought at the high point are all feeling bad about it and are now against holding... but we need to see things on relativistic aspects... Same as trading, day trading and not holding can make you loose a lot of opportunities... as well as holding without trading, that can make you miss your chance to sell at a good profit
