I've voted that crypto will replace fiat, but I'm sure that there will be an evolution that might pass through some other options of vote, like both working in parallel (that is already happening), "Governments will distribute their own centralized blockchain currency along with monetary policies" might also happen but in the end the decentralized and accessible nature of crypto will eventually overcome this issue... the question remains about how long will it take for crypto to replace fiat completely...
Just think about everything else besides money... isn't it changing and becoming different and digital? our TV? our phone? our computer? etc....
I can't believe that so many people are in the crypto world and don't believe that crypto can replace fiat money... crypto is money! and money is also evolving from paper printed bills to digital numbers... crypto will be the only long term solution for money...
And general people, that will have trouble with it.... these people will use what the TV tells them to use...
(not long ago, humans used salt as money... don't you think it was also hard to change to gold?)

Although I am a bounty hunter and like to participate on projects that interest me... I think you are totally wrong...
The whole legion of bounty hunters participate in almost everything on sight and they end up earning nothing due to failed projects or scam in most of the times (during this year a whole lot of the icos failed or never hit exchange)...
Honnestly I would like you to be right, but in that case we would need a different behaviour and seriousness from the hunters.... this would also bring respect from the projects...

there is definitely a race to the exchanges... somewhat similar to old days gold rush... everyone after the quick cash...
personally, there are 2 points to this issue... on one hand we need more exchanges so that the monopoly, crazy fees and odd behaviour of the existing exchanges will change, but on the other hand such a chaos and recklessness with somethinng that handles our money is very dangerous...
And too many exchanges will also split volume
I think the exchange market needs more competitors, but some serious rules as to the minimum security or compliance

well, historically, the cycle ends/starts in december, usually december defines the bear or bull season that is comming. If we are going for another bear year, this will be a dull december...
there are other seasonal events that supposedly influence crypto, like christmas holidays, chinese new year, etc.... but i feel this is just the whales exploring human supersticion...

well, if people want to make profit, they'll have to hold until the market changes... nothing more, nothing less... at the moment most people are at loss, so I think there is no other real choice but to hold... how long? only the whales know
if people use their crypto to pay bills, that's more complicated as they'll have to keep spending from the pot that is undervalued... htye are actually loosing a ton of money... but there is no choice for these people but to keep selling bit by bit

well, i think blockchain has definitely the potencial to change the world... surely in 1-2 years our digital life will be based on blockchain and our daily life will also be controled by blockchain through transports, payment, education, utility services, traffic lights, etc...
this will bring the wide blockchain advantages you've mentoned into our life, nevertheless there are a few dangers, either by beying used by the wrong people to control other people, or by having roll-backs and stuff like that that can corrupt the whole idea of having a blockchain...

I had some failed bounties as well... some them even pay the tokens, but their value is not even worth to send to exchange...
Now I find myself very rigid on the bounty selection and it has became very hard to find good bounties to participate in...
I've arrived to the conclusion that, like another user has already said, it is time to complete the cycle and develop other areas like the trading skills...

I personally don't see the point in selling bounty tokens for skraps... they have a cost which is time and effort... Usually at this bear market, bounty tokens are almost worthless and if you go and sell them immediately, sometimes it is hard to even pay the transfer fees... if you give it a chance to develop, most of time it will suffer the usual problem and fail and you lost 20bucks, if it develops and it has some degree of success you can easily turn that into 200-300usd... |

To be honnest I do not see the bull anywhere... not sure if the bull market will return at the end of the year or is we'll have another year of the bear... if you are right and the bull market is comming, you have time to sell and buy again... nevertheless usually people split their investment in several parts and sell each part at a specific price, re-gaining the money invested first, and then the profit 700usd seems a bit high for the 1st sale.... but this is just me talking |

ATM/credit cards can be stolen, banks can be hacked, governments can close the withdrawals, close your accounts, aprehend all your money...
at least with crypto you own and manage your money ...
of course that there are a whole lot of scammers, hackers, thieves, etc out there that are taking advantage of the unregulated market we live in... I hope this is only temporary and that some safeguards can be put in place to stop this madness

similar stuff has happened to me also, and in some cases I worked for translation bounty and believe me.... it is hard to get nothing in the end... I've also tried centralized bounty places like bountyhive, but those guys are worthless, they do not guarantee anything and in the end they are much less transparent than BTT regular bounties... they control everything and you just have to trust .... (reminds me of the problems that brought me to crypto and blockchain) I started being more and more selective...but it is really hard, I think that in some cases it is pure luck ... for example I have worked 26weeks for bitschool and in the end it failed... and it was a really nice project... there are also the cases in which they pay you but the coins will forever be worthless The ICO market need a refresh button... now I'm only doing 2 bounties and crossing my fingers |

why would the majority refuse to use crypto currencies?? people just need to be informed and some regulations must be in place to make everything safer, but why would anyone want to keep payment crazy fess and hideen taxes to banks? why would someone want to be subjected to government control of your finances?? or even to crazy taxes that only the rich can escape??
besides all this, everyone owns a smartphone, smartcar, smart tv.... smart money will just fit...
In time I just see no way for society to reject crypto...

I find that there are 2 ways people start, or with small steps and small profits and consequently small loses, paving it's way, learning and gaining experience... or people get into the "get rich quick" scenario and start following the ones they think are the best, doing crazy investments based on pure luck, trying to be ahead... and just fall behind...
we can all work together to build a new world, finnaly there is some light at the end of the tunnel as we now have some of the tools to change our society... people need to change their behaviour in life... and this is not much different than change their behaviour in crypto
