741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All alt coin become shit coins. on: September 25, 2018, 07:24:28 AM
I think this market is the "natural selection" of crypto... a lot of altcoins will vanish and the remaining will be stronger. It is the time to clean all the pumps and dumps, crazy projects, incompetent teams, coins that have no use expect transactions, scams, etc...
The proof is that there are a few alts that are growing.
With this market investors must also evolve and become more demanding on their potencial investments
Crypto is here to stay... last year everybody won, now some have to loose to feed the whales.... Grin
742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining with a Laptop? on: September 25, 2018, 07:19:18 AM
well, mining is definitely the essence of crypto. I'm also a guy that likes to use existing stuff and adapt it to a new use, but on this case you have to reason some facts...... first of all, BTC mining is different because the hashrate needed to gather some value is very high, people are using ASIC and even with these machines, some people are having trouble making is worth (depends on the price of the electricity)
Mining with a laptop, even if you point to new coins with almost no network, is something that will bring very few coins and will highly wear your machine... a stacking station as someone already said would be a much better idea, or maybe as an exit node for VPN, for example
If you want to be a real crypto miner, the best thing to do is taking it serious and gather a bit of money to buy some GPUs, a motherboard and get things going... you can even start with 1 GPU and go on from there...
cheers

744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your motivation to invest in an ICO on: September 24, 2018, 07:03:26 AM
Well, ICOs are mostly scams, and the remaining have very weak/inexperienced teams... I think investors have found that out and are starting to run away from ICOs...
I'm not an ICO investor, but I would say that the main motivation is definitely money... in the old days, the price actually grew beyond ICO price right after the ICO. This is one of the reasons why people are stopping to invest... now the price falls hard right after the ICO and the best chance to make some profit is months and months away
cheers
745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in BTC, Altcoin, or ICO on: September 24, 2018, 06:59:25 AM
well, let's go by points:
Most of the ICO's are scams, and the remaining part has a great deal of dreamers and people that just don't have the necessery experience... also, on most ICO's the price is dropping hard right after entering an exchange.... so this is pointing to a huge red flag
concerning BTC and alts, we are in plain bear market, that is the time for the "natural" selection, so in my oppinion the main investment should be in more "guaranteed" BTC and/or main alts, with some diversification in a very small selection of projects with great potencial...
cheers
746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which do you prefer, bank or crypto? on: September 24, 2018, 06:54:55 AM
In both of these options there are a few risks, banks are currupted and exist to "steal" and control our "money", but crypto is also volatile, unregulated and highly susceptible to attacks... well, I guess I would go for a healthy mix between both and hopefully in the future, I would go entirely for crypto...
cheers
747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to find the best Bounty Campaigns on: September 23, 2018, 07:17:26 AM
well, I've done my share of bounties and I've came to the conclusion that the best place to find them is here at the forum. There is no advantage in using external bounty sites like bountyhive, etc... usually they are not transparent (no spreadsheets), so you don't have a clue about what's going on, they are centralized, and the chances of failed bounties are the same... i've been there, but definitely, here at the forum things are better
748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jobless No More on: September 23, 2018, 07:09:23 AM
well, I guess you are right in some points... crypto world definitely brings a lot of opportunities for everyone and this is definitely helping some jobless people and/or people that would like to get rid of their "standard" job, nevertheless the main thing is not aiming to live from airdrips and bounties... it should be joining a project and working on crypto world... because everyone has a chance (even cheaters and scammers)  Grin
749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to use cryptocurrency in everyday life? on: September 22, 2018, 07:50:49 AM
For me crypto is money! So I would be ready to use it everywhere instead of the old fiat!
Nevertheless I understand that the perception of value that people have towards fiat money is something that they where thought to believe in since their birth, and most people are locked on a slave box doing their day-to-day routines.... so they need to think and learn to see the true value of fiat and the chances given by crypto...
it is not something that will happen in 1 day, it will take it's time, but in the end, crypto is so virtual as fiat money, but offer a lot more advantages...  Grin
750  Other / Archival / Re: The Founder of Bitcoin on: September 22, 2018, 07:45:09 AM
why should he/she/it reveal it's identity? would you?? would you want to have to buy in private security and safety vests? live in hidding?

on the other hand, have you ever tought that this might have been a way for someone/institution/organization to control and chage society without exposure? (I've heard a lot of theories  Grin )

I don't understand how revealing the identity of the original creator would help in anyway concerning governments acceptance...
751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHY ARE PEOPLE STILL CONDEMNING BITCOINS on: September 22, 2018, 07:39:09 AM
Bitcoin is growing stronger, lets forget about the red on the market. WE WILL SEE GREEN SOON AND IT WILL BE ALL SMILES.

this is exactly why the price is not rising yet. it is because all you care about is that fiat you so love and want to increase. you talk about bitcoin's adoption as a currency, you talk about the technology,... but in the end all you care about is profit on your fiat. and that is why price doesn't rise because if you believed in what you said here then you would have been spending bitcoin, encouraging businesses to accept bitcoin all around you,... instead you are waiting for a rise to sell your bags and be rich.

I agree, most people involved still doesn't look to bitcoin as actual money, they just look at it as way to make more money (fiat money)... the change of this "common sense" that precieves money as the old fiat is the difficult part to adopt bitcoin as money... people still believe in fiat money  Cheesy
I have no doubt that being the oldest and most well known crypto, bitcoin will become more and more adopted, but there are several obstacles to overcome such as regulations, market stabilization (so that the trillions can come in), people common sense, etc...
They are squeezing and when they finnish, they are ready for a new bull...
752  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: will all the countries make cryptocurrency legal? on: September 21, 2018, 07:04:10 AM
Like all deep changes in human society, things take their time, but it is undeniable that everything points to a full digital world and fiat money will slowly turn obsolete. It is natural that there is a period of chaos, denial, scams, restrictions, etc... but we have to face it... we are all becoming connected, so and our lifes as turning digital... money being digital is only a consequence ...
So, there should be some that forbiden it, but it is only a matter of time...
cheers!
753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICO prediction 2019 on: September 21, 2018, 06:58:01 AM
Well, I guess it depends on the market and the comming of the bull... we can be up for a long winter...
Nevertheless, ICO fever might return on the next bull market, and investors will stay dumb because they will be new investors attracted by the bull market profits... it is a cycle and when it is "up" time there is always a fresh face full of hope and ready to invest...
cheers
754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy on ICO or buy after being exchanged? on: September 21, 2018, 06:51:31 AM
To be perfectly honest, I am not an investor, but nevertheless if I was investing on an ICO at this time, I would definitely buy only after it was traded on exchange.
All the ICOs I've seen this year (don't know the global data) have started trading fas below ICO price and stayed at that level
Not to mention that there is always the risk of scam that is partially eliminated if the coin is already traded
cheers

756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites? on: September 19, 2018, 06:58:07 AM
In my opinnion those sites can't be trusted. First of all they offer a service that is paid by the project, second I've seen a few scams with very high ratings in several sites, and third usually things are not transparent regarding evaluation...
Everyone that is thinking about investing on an ICO should thourougly check the team, the project, social channels and so on....
cheers
757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty managers to be blamed? on: September 19, 2018, 06:57:46 AM
bounty managers can be a part of the scam or not, but if they are, they usually dissapear when the rest of the team does... I think that most of the times bounty managers are also scammed, and in those cases, their loss is far greater than the loss of bounty hunters as their job is far harder and their payment higher...
if they help the team to scam people, they should dissapear with the rest of the scammers...
bounty manager history on crypto projects should also be considered
cheers
758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is crypto making the world go crazy? on: September 18, 2018, 07:40:33 AM
Crypto is definitely appealing because people live as slaves and crypto offer the chance of freedom... it seems to offer equal chance to everyone to earn money easily and be their own boss...
of course that the fever of quick cash and the dream of instant riches drove a lot of people to rush decisions, and also attracted a lot of scammers....
I love it anyway  Grin
759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you sure the market will come back at end this year? on: September 18, 2018, 07:35:43 AM
Well, some things are more certain than others... the market will come back as it behaves with ups and downs, so last year prices popped and now we are at a correction phase...
Will it come back at the end of the year?? that's only a guess... it is true that the whales are squeezing up profits and will keep the price down until there is no one desperate enough to sell at these prices...
Sldo, if we look at the charts, we'll see that this has happened before some other times  Grin
760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just wondering how much you've earned from cryptocurrenices? -80% for me on: September 18, 2018, 07:29:35 AM
Up until now this is a tough year for crypto holders... you bought at the beginning of the bear market, which is the adjustment phase, after prices have reached levels that are way too high, and you bought only one currency, so it is normal what is happening, you have to hold until the market enters the next growth phase.
pacience, preserverance and ... good luck  Grin
