Does automated Bitcoin or other crypto currency trading bot can make some good benefits ? Is it good to use it ? What is the best bot ?
Automated bots are programmed based on mathematical parameters retrived from the market. Yes, you can make some good profits with it as long as market is normal. However I don't recommend them because they also makes mistakes, like bot that works with martingale system. Martingale bot will always open position to recover previous losses, until your fund exhausted.

Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BITCOIN is for long term investment

If you want to have a short return of investment then not invest on bitcoin. Bitcoin is so volatile that even it increase and decrease in second. Most people complains about their loss on the price drop, I got loss too, but you will be broke when you sell it on a low price. If people would be patient to wait a bit more then all would be good. Who else make millions on just a week ? None. Im saying this not just to promote holding but also encourage all those crypto users be patient and be calm on the price drop. Youre still not loss until you sell it on low price. Hold it for a while, if you are weary and try investing on others like ICOs until you almost forget it and go back when it pumps again. Nobody know when would it be increased but it would. Be strong people.
Bitcoin is bubble, most of people think they can multiply their money over night. They forget that bitcoin can drop like a falling knife with slow recovery ever before hitting its momentum. The key here is to be patient just like you said. New investors should be educated about that. Panic selling at lowest price is only bad option.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is King.. why is it?!

Bitcoin is "mother" of alt coins including ethereum. It is first digital money using blockchain technology and being developed to disrupt world traditional financial system.
According to coinmarketcap.com bitcoin is still king with over 40% dominance. It is hard for any coins to take its place because people will use bitcoin first to buy other coins.

Bitcoin price is highly speculative, putting any business with it is actually risky. Buying a car with 1 BTC today can be different buying the same car in 2020. Bitcoin needs to formalised first to meet business standard. So, I think holding bitcoin is the only good option of investment right now, to get its growing value.

A lot of people do trading even if they don't know nothing about it and some people succeed on that but most of them failed. One of the reason why I think they do that, is because of GREED which can result to a big loss for them.
Start with education, make a lot of research, do some practice trading online and use it later on in real life. Don't rush to earn money because in trading its hard to do so.
Are you a trader in mind but scared inside? Be more patient, develop your emotion and win in this market.
You are right! People blindly follow the trend without conducting enough research. They think simply putting money in the market can make them rich. I have to admit I was one of them, back when I started trading forex. I lost hundreds dollar until I quit completely. However, using forex trading style in cryptocurrency is more convenient anyway. I don't my hundreds of dollars wasted

as i am a newbie.. i know nothing about trading... what should i do to start trading and multiply my btc.. guys please help me
If you have a little money to trade, I suggest don't fall into margin trading because your fund might be loss in thin air. Start investing in coins with strong fundamentals only. You can find them in coinmarketcap.com, and some of them are ripple, ICX, IOTA, etc. Try growing your assets by joining bounty campaign too. Hold for a little time, when you need cash you can sell it immediately in exchanges that display its price higher than other exchanges.

Right now I love bitcoin from 2106 till now and currently I'm in college but by playing bitcoin I can make a lot of money what should I do? I prefer to play bitcoin instead of college. I also realize that bitcoin will not last forever therefore I want to take advantage when bitcoin still exists.
What do you mean by "bitcoin will not last forever"? Dude, bitcoin has just found its way. You claim you earn much $$$ from bitcoin but hey never leave your college! "Playing bitcoin" can be a side job, I only invest little time in Bitcoin to be honest, so thinking to leave college will be a very bad idea just for the sake of Bitcoin only.

Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions?
|
on: March 27, 2018, 05:12:27 AM
|
Being emotional after loss is the nature of human. It is difficult for me to manage my emotion when my portfolio crashes. Question like "Why I don't sell earlier? Why I hold?" usually pop up in my head when this happens. But don't let your emotion drives your decision. Only rely on your common sense. Do research, when things are going back normal soon just relax.

Can i anybody put me through the basics of knowing when to sell and when to hold?... I actually don't know much about market rise in demand and supply and it's affecting me in daily trade of cryptocurrency.
What time frame are you comfortable with doesn't matter. The thing is you need to draw resistance and support lines precisely to find when to sell. Sell in higher resistance and buy in in lower support. It is actually that simple. Additional indicator might come in handy in volume and moving average. Volume gives you information about the power of market toward bullish or bearish. Moving average helps you identify trend in any time frames.

Since you plan to use credit card as payment option, be very careful to purchase bitcoin. Only buy in trusted exchanges like Coinbase or your local exchanges. For your safety from black hackers, always double check URL and don't store your credit card information in your browser.

on: March 27, 2018, 04:58:00 AM

Merry Christmas together,
my english is not the best, but maybe you can help me to solve my problem.
Because of the coin of the day tweet from mcafee I wanted to buy the reddcoin, so I bought a litecoin at cryptopia and exchanged it with the reddcoin, maybe because of the huge pump the fees were to low, and now I have zero litecoins and zero reddcoins. how long I have to wait until the transaction is cancelled and I recieve my litecoins back, and what can I do myself to speed it up a little bit ?
Even though this is an old thread but merely following tweet from mcafee tweets can be fatal if you don't conduct you own research too. Don't get blinded by people that you think "pro" because they also make mistakes.

Well, I will try to explain it as simple as possible below.
ICO (Initial Coin Offering) is a phase of new token being introduced to public to open for investments. Bounty is campaign held by ICO publisher to attracts more investors. You (bounty hunter) must meet specified requirements of ICO publisher in order to earn their tokens.

If a bitcointalk member is doing a p quality post, aside from the possibility of earning merits from the viewers or from the readers, is there any chance, rules or thread that we can submit our post like nomination for a possible merit? Like the admins or managers can review the post if we are qualified to earn merits from them? Thank in advance for your answers..
There are several threads to help you increase your Merits. Make quality posts and share its link to the admins. If it is elligible then admins may reward you with their sMerit. You should never do merit trading because you can get banned.

Stop following the FUD without providing strong indicator and scientific analysis. I believe the market will rebound this month towards Q3 after good conclusion from G20 Summit.
Instead, take this moment to bag more crypto currencies before it is too late to aboard the train. Everything will be back normal again.
