141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC Process (Sportsbook) on: October 03, 2019, 07:11:55 AM
It's a gamble when you're providing your personal info to a gambling site!
You may get your information exploited or they might be a trustworthy website which is operating in accordance to the law and they're respecting their customers.

Going with a non-KYC website might be safer for low-volumes but can such websites be trusted bigger amounts?!
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: October 03, 2019, 07:08:29 AM
After playing gambling games hundreds of times, without much effort in winning substantial profits at all

In here you have already answered the question below as after a hundred of times without much effort in winning, that means you as a long time gambler found nothing about the secrets(of gaming from playing)so for me as like yours no secret at all but only a Chances to win or to lose
Quote
Which is why, I'm deeply curious to know if there's actually a secret within gambling that would allow me to win more than losing? Any thoughts about this will be greatly appreciated. Smiley
After reading pages of this thread we can finally conclude that NO there’s is nothing about secrets and if does it’s not really functional and effective
Why not there is secret that we can use as gambling like using a good game that you are well aware of.  Never be so Impatient try to save your money by not gambling again at once. Use strategies and be wise not to be greedy. Control your emotions don’t lose your hope, keep in your mind that in gambling you can win and lose but never stop.
Lol “Never Stop” when you knew already that it’s more on losing than winning?does it sounds like a suicidal move?why not just play when you feel so like and stop when you lose?

Gambling is not a n obligation to fulfill so there’s no need for not stopping at all,I’m afraid that if you can control yourself but don’t stop playing what would be the outcome?
only 1 secret i could think about all over my experienced is that...  "Know your limits"

 Grin Grin Grin Grin
Simple but perfect answer, but I think it wasn’t really a secret but the truth is “Knowing Limitations” was being denied by greediness

"knowing limitations"... that's an interesting phrase!
I believe most people want to "deny" that they have limitations, they don't want to believe there are limitations and not just their "wants".
143  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: Bitcoin SV (BSV) - fake team member and plagiarized white paper on: October 03, 2019, 07:05:52 AM
Bump, Craig is a fraud.

I see him rather catching all the anno and anarcho frauds who try to do all sorts of illegal stuff with crypto

No wonder they hate him and want him to be called out...

Like impersonating Satoshi
Like plagiarism
Like tax fraud
Like faking diplomas
Like contempt of Court
Like Perjury
Like using fake emails from dead people
Like writing shit about Hal Finney, Martti Malmi and other people
Like filling a blockchain with BS data, the weather blockchain
Like promoting a fork as being Bitcoin

Which blockchain has stored child pronography? -> Bitcoin SV

Well said, except that the last point is an issue that can happen to any blockchain, it's not entirely their fault.
The unnecessary high size limit of blocks surely helps such situations, but just a low quality image would be store-able in most blockchains I suppose.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: October 03, 2019, 07:02:23 AM

This Istanbul testnet fork caused Ethereum network split,
and this is one more proof why good testing is needed before mainnet.
On a good note I noticed a lot lower fees on eth network recently

Does this mean that now we will get another coin? Like the one which gave us ETC? Or this is just a routine fork that won't play any major role.

The key word here is "TESTNET".
I didn't read the details but it seems something didn't go right with their testings. This would be a problem if the update was pushed in the mainnet without testing first, but now they have time to fix whatever issue there was.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: October 02, 2019, 05:09:36 PM
BTC has affect on almost all the altcoins whether minor or major. Same goes for XRP. But still the price has gone above $0.25 which is a positive sign. But $0.28 level needs to be watched. If the price goes down from here and breaks $0.25 too, then we can see more correction. But if it goes successful in breaching it, we can see as high as $0.32 in short run.

Even though bitcoin price went down lately, xrp was still active in the marketplace. More traders got interested with it's huge capability on market value. Within the long span of time and daily trading works amazingly for ripple, and holders stay within control $0.32 will go further for much bigger value; that could hit potentially at $0.50 in sooner.

I happen to stumble some TA of XRP posted by  cointelegraph on Sept. 30,

the explanation:

Quote
XRP has risen sharply above $0.24508. This is a positive sign as it shows buying at lower levels and indicates that the recent breakdown was a bear trap. The pullback might face some resistance at the moving averages and above it at $0.27795.
The traders can watch the next dip and buy if it does not break below $0.24508. That will signal a bottom formation. If the bulls can push the price above $0.27795, the XRP/USD pair can quickly rally to $0.34229. Conversely, if the pair turns down from current levels and plunges below $0.22, the downtrend will resume. The next support on the downside is at $0.19. However, we give it a low probability of occurring

From the given explanation it seems XRP uptrend will be continuous since it failed to break the below $0.24508  here is another analysis that supports the possible trend of xrp market(bullish pattern).

https://www.tradingview.com/chart/XRPUSD/DvCEU1Op-XRP-Will-the-rounded-Bottom-target-history-repeat-in-Q4/

Thanks for sharing, as a somewhat experienced trader myself I've got to say that this is a good technical analysis.
We're close to the price XRP was before the huge bullrun of 2017Q4, I don't expect any bigger fall than that.
146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin and casinos on: October 02, 2019, 07:01:57 AM
It'd take ages of moving winnings between game rounds if players would use their personal wallets to play in real life.
So maybe the only way would be to "deposit" your BTC in the casino's entrance and receive the classic casino chips again. So there won't be any difference between using BTC or not... it's up to the casino to accept this kind of alternative payment.

That's a very small announcement post guys. It's like you're saying "hey, we're just another betting site, come check us out if you want".
I don't feel enough energy coming out of your post!

Or we can see every deep as a little buying opportunity. As long as we don't go "all-in" whenever we think "THIS is the bottom!" then we should be fine throughout this bear era.
You just need to do good capital management.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - DPoS with Dynamic Fees 🔹 New CORE v2🔹 ARK Deployer 🔹 on: October 02, 2019, 06:50:39 AM
This Platform is very helpful for people to build their own blockchain-based start-ups. But do you just focus on the blockchain? Or in the future want to provide features outside of the blockchain field?

ark as operation system? https://medium.com/nos-io/nos-launches-testnet-and-blockchain-codebase-8614aa2f3a95
ark ecosystem is yuge!!! people are moving to ark right now.

can't wait for ark as gaming platform on mobile

They are the first to be in the "Powered by ARK" program (https://ark.io/powered-by-ark), but they have a weird name! It's hard to even google about them without being introduced to street racing nad NOS (Nitrous Oxide Systems)!
But right now we don't even have gaming on desktop, we'll have to wait a lot for mobile gaming in ARK!
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: September 30, 2019, 07:27:36 PM
The topic of Ethereum has become more crowded in recent hours. What's wrong with Ethereum, please tell me. If you think there is something wrong with Ethereum, please tell me which altcoins will replace Ethereum at the second position in the crypto area. Ripple, nope. Bitcoin Cash, nope. TRON, nope. So, which one in your opinion?

I don't see anything strange happening... or rather... I see nothing is happening with Ethereum's developement! But maybe I just haven't done my research so nvm.
But let me remind you that XRP and ETH have been trading the 2nd position a few times now.
151  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: September 30, 2019, 07:01:37 PM

Sadly still not clear what will happen to the funds after they give enough time for people to make their claims.

Are they processing KYC procedure now? I lost track on what is currently happening now with crytopia after the last update.

What is happening is obvious, some Cryptopia officers are seen in the pictures bellow, trying hard to return the money they owe to their customers!
You have nothing to fear mate! Grin

152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LAUNCHED][POW]⚡ELECTRONEUM⚡Official Moderated Thread on: September 30, 2019, 02:00:22 PM
Price always falls, "thanks" to for mobile miner. Which works horrible and doesnt suit for serious people, but for kids mining a small reward should be perfect. So 3 years at row you giving ETN to everyone and now you wonder price is falling?  The same thing happens with XLM

I don't think that a tiny amount (as you said yourself) would be enough to drop the price a considerable amount.
The explosive majority of the new coins are being sent to "classic" miners... and it's not like they are guaranteed to hold!
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: September 30, 2019, 01:56:27 PM

But you people still have time to mine the current amount as after a few years you will again regret the current time that why you not mined and saved in 2019 as after a few years the value of it will increase and then with the difficulty you will not be able to mine that much which you are mining today.

But what if in a few years it costs $ 5 for 1 ethereum?
We don’t know where the market will go and let ethereum and top 2 but it's still an altcoin whose price is strongly tied to bitcoin.

You know that crypto market is quite unstable and all currencies may cost any sum in the future. But there are some basic coins today ETH, LTC, BTC.. They have the biggest trust from financial analysts for now.
So I don`t really expect that main advanced coins may cost $5.

Maybe XRP will one day cost $5! Roll Eyes
It's not so much a matter of Ethereum being tied to BTC's price, it's more like the overall sentiment is the same for every cryptocurrency.
After all, the ETH buyers are also the BTC buyers, everyone is on the same community.

I have windows Vista which portfolio should I download?

Go here  https://github.com/ArkEcosystem/desktop-wallet/releases

Scrolldown to ark-desktop-wallet-win-2.6.2.exe

Wait for file download and install on your pc, remember if you gonna hold a good amount of coins, backup your wallet.dat file in a usb. If you dont know how, let me know and i can post a thread about that.

Good luck.

And since Vista are not supported by Microsoft anymore, you'd better upgrade soon before you start holding crypto-assets in this PC.
It's more likely that a Vista PC will be infected by a virus since it's not being patched anymore.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: September 30, 2019, 01:26:27 PM

I know that the article is new, but the original announcement is old (31/07/2019): https://www.fca.org.uk/news/press-releases/fca-provides-clarity-current-cryptoassets-regulation
I think XRP was enjoying some nice pricing back then!
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: September 27, 2019, 09:13:02 PM
Ethereum price has been taking a beating alongside almost all others.

The whole market is looking quite bad right now.

Ethereum  and many other coins dumped very hard and today i sow some green bar on some coins.but compare to few weeks before eth lost more than 50 of its value within very short of time now it trading on $173 price on yobit hope it will survive and give good return

Agreed with you all coins are following the foot steps of BTC when it get dumped hard so others follow it but today is looking nice with green signs in the market. ETH will get succeed to make its way and will show more better performance in future.

And yet Ethereum and XRP are less magnetized by BTC than other coins, yet they are all being affected at some level by the overall market psychology
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 8 reasons to start playing blockchain games on: September 27, 2019, 08:45:56 PM
Blockchain games take a lot from your time in order to achieve something and also they take a lot from your cash so in the end , is it worth it ? I would say no most of the part but if you really enjoy the game and you think you can be in top 10-50, give it a shot.

It's not necessary to go big in time investment, you only need to be efficient (and probably lucky, in most of these games) in what you're doing!
You may go big and end up losing big.

159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: September 27, 2019, 08:21:26 PM
Ripple [XRP] speculations will never end.

One of the most speculated coins in the market.

Always see transfers of high amount XRP at whales alert.

As the team own the big amount of the XRP, speculations about this coin will never stop.  Angry

You see whales moving large amounts because it's one of the top 3 coins and one of the only "living" 3 coins.
The other coins are either dead or sleeping! You see whales in BTC and ETH too

I imagine many exchanges will get "hacked" if those bearish conditions keep going for a long time!
You know... It's not paying much when people don't trade!
