BTW, what about the asterisk (*) next to my name in the spreadsheet? There was a week I missed the minimum requirement by 1 post while I was on vacations, will this stick with me forever now?
No it will only stay until you hit the minimum again, so if you hit it this week you'll see it be removed I got it in Round 25 and in Round 26 I hit the minimum again, so now (in Round 27) I was expecting it to have been removed but I still see it there; but I suppose you'll update it when you'll start counting the posts! All's good, thanks for letting me know!

Dear ARK team, I was wondering about your plan for future marketing campaigns. You've already created an awesome advertising video but other than that, how do you plan to proceed? Are you waiting for a specific development milestone to be reached first or maybe are you planning to allow the community to do the advertising?
Excellent question sir. But and it's a big butt. You got more chance of getting a whale up your arse, than getting an answe sir. ,r Well, they're mainly active in Slack which is understandable really. They are present in a total of 12 social media including this forum. In order for them to be active in all of these media it'd take either of these two things... A) A person who would solely be active in these channels and speak with the community. That'd be good if they had customers in these channels, but their customer base is developer teams. The only thing one such person would do is give generic answers to generic questions of investors and "moon-investors". That's a salary going to waste. B) Alternatively, the core team themselves would have to monitor these channels, but then this would take away from their development time. As a developer myself, I know how hard it is to proceed with your software's development if every now and then you pause in order to read or reply to a message. So as things stand, I don't take the teams absence from the forums as a sign that they don't care about their community. They are just being efficient and that's great for me as an investor. They only post announcement here, which is fine. I'll try get an answer in Slack I suppose! And yes, they answered really quick! Sam from the ARK team told me the following, "Our marketing team are currently fully focused on the marketing strategy they have developed and are bringing it to fruition. They will be targeting the B2B/Enterprise space within certain market sectors. These are IoT, Supply Chain, Gaming and Government."

Even though I was accumulating two years now, I feel kinda sad and nostalgic to see it go up! Every time BTC goes up the amount of scams, spammers (in all media) and moon-investors is rising... I can't say I miss those! BTW, what about the asterisk (*) next to my name in the spreadsheet? I think when ETH 2.0 is on, the price will go easily to 1k and beyond. Ethereum is number 1 smart contract blockchain!
ETH already have competitors. Therefore, №1 now, but what will be in the future is not yet known. Perhaps the ETH-killer will take first place. And why did you decide that ETH 2.0 will cost 1k? And if ETH would ever go to 1k, it'd drop like a break in a short time after it. As an end user of DAPPs built on Ethereum, I know how bad it is to have an unstable and volatile price. I'm playing Axie Infinity, it's an NFT game. I notice that when ETH price is rising, more people want to sell their Axies (NFTs) and personally I also feel less willing to do any kind of expense, I just feel like there's more value in holding ETH in a bull market. And then there's the bear market, in such times everyone wants to trade their ETH for NFTs because good games bring value to NFTs over time, so they are even better than stable coins in a declining market. So in any case, what I want as a gamer is price stability, security and low transactions fees. Only security is achieved by ETH at the moment. I more developers will start using ARK to build games and then maybe ETH developers get much-needed updates out quicker.

While reading such studies we have to keep in mind that they are not always accurate regarding their conclusions. Problem gamblers have not only 15 times higher risk of suicide, but they also have higher risk of drug addiction, alcohol abuse etc. And all of that is not because they gamble, but because they are just such kind of persons, emotionally unstable, frequently stressed, constantly seeking for rushes of positive feeling, and in some cases, when they can't find any, they commit suicide. Saying that one vice leads to another is a wrong approach to this serious problem, but, unfortunately, modern psychology seems doesn't have better solutions yet. I've seen many studies with false premises or a logic that seems sound but is not. In any case, I don't think anyone can deny that gambling has pushed many people to suicide and other negative behaviors, it's just that we can't accurately measure it. In any case, it's best not to get started with gambling and/or investing at all or maybe start small so that your psychology won't go downhill in case you lose your bet.

I'm surprised that some people are surprised by this behaviour! I know that some people with high addiction levels have even played it all-in planing to suicide if they'd lose or start a new life if they'd win.
That's some high level addiction there, so rarely seen, but exists nonetheless. We have a casino close in the area where I live and its built on top of a mountain. There were a few times we've heard about people who jumped from these mountains, and I'm sure there are many more stories we don't know.

CEO Ripple said that Libra from facebook will help them for mass adoption (accept and use Ripple by banks). But I don't understand how this related... Of course, Libra would be good for crypto, but I don't think that banks will start using Ripple, soonet they will start using Libra I feel like the reasoning is that, once users start getting used to Libra, more companies and bank will HAVE to use cryptocurrencies in order to stay with the trend. However Ripple Labs are already much ahead than Facebook in this space and they have working tools for other companies to use. This is why Libra could potentially be good for all crypto.

30k satoshis was supposed to be my entry but I made the mistake of waiting for Aeon to pump again so I can sell to buy Grin hehehe. The pump never came, however. In any case, I will continue to wait for my Grin $0.50 dream. Dollar $0.5 can be hard simply because bitcoin is expected to pump in next 1-2 years. After the pump the grin emission will not be that strong anymore so, ... But who know we should also have next financial crisis at that time and that will be a real blow. If there'll be a financial crisis, the prices of cryptocurrencies against dollar will jump even higher though! So his dream for $0.50 looks very unlikely no matter how you see it! AEON huh? I think I was mining this shitcoin for sometime, back on the old good days when people hadn't overbought GPUs!

The Moneygram news is a big deal. We did see a quick price increase in XRP from $0.42 to $0.46, but I'm a bit surprised that the increase wasn't more and that it reversed so quickly and we are back where we were before. XRP continues to look underpriced considering what they are achieving.
We have many Bitcoin maximalists fighting XRP, so I'm not that surprised. I'm just patiently waiting for real investors to come into the space because the teenagers who happened to get rich by mining early are affected too much by the FUD.

The ARK team is building a great system, unfortunately only the tech-savvy people who have read their Whitepaper and/or are watching their Github can understand their greatness.
All this crying about the price being 0.50$ or $5.00 is noise in my ears. If you invested in this without knowing what ARK is and your only purpose was to sell a few months later, then you don't have a place here. Go gamble or something, investing blindly is the same as gambling.
