Don't you agree it would be nice if people invested in things that would actually make them richer?
It's not good for Bitcoin's image if so many IPOs are just preying on naive investors.

Absolutely. There are lots of IPO's being issued with no real possibility of investors getting their money back - yet the issuers will do nicely from it.

ACtM is not one of those enterprises.

If you think it is, please let us know why. Precise details would be the only way to lead this into a grown up conversation.
1322  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: September 19, 2013, 04:55:11 PM
I think we can discard the confused waffle + the self-aggrandizing, and extract this sentence from that post:

Because your failvesting is shitting up Bitcoin, and I want it to stop.

OK so he's here because he thinks ACtM is a bad investment/scam and he doesn't want ACtM to mess up Bitcoin and actually wants the company closed down.

That is so ludicrous he sounds to me like he's a paid Troll from a competitor - or in need of clinical help. The first is far more likely.

I especially like the bit where he says 'I want it to stop' as if he has any say in what other grown ups do. He sounds like a little girl throwing a tantrum! I suspect his being explicit on his intent to close down ACtM could be a serious breach of the rules of this forum so I'll report him for that. I would advise others to likewise report that post if you think - as I do - that it shows this character admitting to trying to get ACtM as a business closed down.

Have a good day everyone.  Cheesy

I do not trade on this forum.  Make of that what you will. Tongue

Why do you come on here then? Why do you spend so much of your time posting on the ACtM threads?

Because I use Bitcoin, and what you do here reflects on Bitcoin as a whole.
I do not want to be embarrassed by Bitcoin.
I do not want Bitcoin to be a laughing stock, a catchall for every fail and scam, a lulzy slaughterhouse where cattle eagerly finance the kill floor & the stunner.
I love you guys like i would love & protect a retarded sibling.  But you make it so hard.

The question was: 'Why do you spend so much of your time posting on ACtM threads?'

Your answer explains your general interest in bitcointalk - but not ACtM.

Do you want to try again?

Why do you spend so much of your time posting on ACtM threads?

Most likely because he is paid to do so by some competitor.

I want him to explain himself the reason as to why he is constantly on here.

Crash is over, folks.

Hope you bought whatever you're going to buy.  It only gets pricier from here.

You wanker. You are about to lose your shirt muppet boy.
1327  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 18, 2013, 08:20:59 PM

Isn't lying there a violation of btct's terms? Burnside has recently locked securities for that.

If these shares get locked, when they are reopened they will shoot to zero in seconds - no chance to sell, there will be no buyers.
1328  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 18, 2013, 08:19:18 PM
This is ANOTHER delaying tactic so they can sell more of their holdings.

When will you people get it? THIS IS A SCAM.
1329  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 18, 2013, 08:14:37 PM
This is a FIVE MILLION DOLLAR company and they are behaving like children.

Even if you think they are still legit you should dump their stock to teach them a lesson and open a case with your lawyer.

Unbelievably bad for the BTC community. This could hit the news and set back BTC by 2 years.

NOT ACCEPTABLE.
1330  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 18, 2013, 08:08:03 PM
It's disappointing that garbage companies like this one are siphoning funds from the crypto securities market. Done with this ridiculous circus.

I would of course argue that the missed deadlines are a direct result of the issues the developers have had

WILL THESE 'ISSUES' IMPACT ON THE FINAL HASH RATE OF YOUR CHIPS?

ANSWER THE QUESTION BITCH.
1332  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: VMC -- FAST HASH. $6/GH on: September 18, 2013, 07:25:15 PM
Holy shit, how many suckpoppets are there in this forum?

I'm not a sockpuppet. I'm an ACtM investor and it's good for the company and ergo for me if more hardware is pre-ordered right now because then the company will become a bigger btc mining concern over a shorter period. It's all very simple, and if you understand business you understand I'm not a sockpuppet but an interested party offering potential buyers some clear links they can spend the time looking at.

Good luck with your investments.
1333  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: VMC -- FAST HASH. $6/GH on: September 18, 2013, 04:26:24 PM
For anyone thinking of pre-ordering right now, today, this is definitely the way to go.

I'll say at the outset that I have some shares in ACtM (around 20btc) but I don't put my money just anywhere. I always, always do the research before putting my hard earned money into a btc company - and you should too. Do not pre-order from anyone until you have done the research. That is the golden rule. You can start your research into eASIC here:

http://www.easic.com/easic-company/testimonials/

One notable testimonial you will see there is this from Kurt Richarz, Seagate Executive Vice President of Sales and he says:
We see easicopy™ as a natural extension to our value engineering programs as we take products from initial ramp through to very high volumes.

So you know the ACtM chips will be made by a serious business who can ramp up volume to meet demand even from a major global operator - good, but how fast are they are getting these chips to market?
http://www.easic.com/high-speed-transceivers-low-cost-power-fpga-nre-asic-45nm-easic-nextreme-2/easic-nextreme-2-fast-turnaround-asics-manufacturing/
You can see eASIC are world leaders and have a trade marked fast turnaround design process that  sees the likes of Seagate and Microsoft use them. And the ACtM 28nm chips are latest tech.

Now the chips will likely be made by Global Foundries or Fujitsu http://www.easic.com/migration-to-cell-based-asic/easic-ecosystem/ - pretty reliable outfits there.

And finally will these chips be fast and run on low power?
http://www.easic.com/high-speed-transceivers-low-cost-power-fpga-nre-asic-45nm-easic-nextreme-2/easic-nextreme-2-low-power-consumption/

Now I haven't researched the pre-order market but can you get this much detail on any other company? Do you know who is designing and making their chips? Will their manufacturers deliver on time when promised? One thing you can say about ACtM - they will NOT be let down or delayed by their chip or by it's manufacturers (99.9% guaranteed). That is a huge advantage over the competition and at the end of the day could be the difference between you getting your miner on time or waiting so long by the time you get it you will only be breaking even. Do the research.

I agree icedrill is utter joke of a proposition but this latest for ACtM is also a bit of a joke. The timing is damaging. If the Board wanted to go quietly they could have waited till the PR guy took over.
1335  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: September 17, 2013, 10:26:30 AM
Great, just great.
So I'm guessing it's been the Board that have been dumping all these shares this past week? WTF guys are you all going over to Labcoin now?

Subject: ActiveMining’s virtual “Board of Advisors” Stand Down

The reasons for our resignation are threefold:
1) Some members of the board wish to pursue other avenues within the Bitcoin world that are tied to potential conflicts of time and interest
1336  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: September 16, 2013, 05:18:51 PM
30k USD isn't that much, considering there is over $3 million dollars worth of shares.

And now he is saying the exact opposite - that he can hold price at a level with a TOTAL of 200k shares investment. What a chump.

140k share buy is insignificant but 200k - totally different. Cheesy Cheesy

1337  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: September 16, 2013, 04:57:05 PM
There are over 100k of shares being dumped at or below the 0.0022 level but only 40-50k being bought all the way down to the 0.0015 level. So it's clear where this stock is going over the short term.

More sellers than buyers - it's not rocket science - and it means this will go back inline with the normal exchange gap which would put Bitfunder price at 0.0015.
1338  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: September 16, 2013, 04:50:58 PM
The reason I didn't keep it at .006 is because I sold most my shares, and bought back around .003  Grin I was one of the reasons it didn't go past .0065 after the eASIC release.  I adapted, icebreaker.  I am doing great, thanks Smiley

I stopped reading when you said 'The reason I didn't keep it at'. Anyone who thinks he can single handedly keep a 5million dollar stock at a certain level is seriously deluded. lol  Cheesy

30k is not a huge portion of 3million correct but that is a totally unrelated point!

I stopped reading your post after this statement.   Cheesy  It is quite related..

I'm sure everyone thinks a 30k USD trade is significant. If it's a trade is Microsoft stock or ACtM stock (the size of the company doesn't matter) it's still a 30k trade. You are a very difficult person to talk to, I don't think trying to win an argument by ignoring someone is very grownup.
1340  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: September 16, 2013, 03:54:00 PM

30k USD isn't that much, considering there is over $3 million dollars worth of shares.

You must be a very wealthy guy if you sniff at 30k USD worth of any stock. And you are missing the point completely. 30k is not a huge portion of 3million correct but that is a totally unrelated point! 30k is definitely worth playing around with price for for EVERY investor here. There is no-one in this market who would see 30k USD as small change - except you obviously. If you can get an extra 20% on a 30k buy or sell then that is a lot of real world money right there.

As I said there is a huge buy at 0.0015 and that is where price should be right on Bitfunder now if exchange gap was maintained. This buyer at 0.0015 is stalking and is likely to trigger a selloff so that his huge buy is filled. You don't have to believe that for it to be true.
