better....bashing

You can condense your long post to the above accusations. I did not say we would be 'better' whatever you mean by that, than knc and I did not 'bash' them either. You shamelessly missquote...again.

I stated some facts, reported what's going on on their website. I also said we could benefit from a lack of confidence in their product. It is very straight forward but you seem to think its wrong to mention the direct competition and what effect it will have on us which is...odd. I get the feeling you just like picking arguments and proving yourself right.

Keep quoting yourself, it makes you look really humble.
1202  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 26, 2013, 01:20:08 AM
Neither of you seem to understand the complex possibilities of new innovative technology.

There has been a sudden upsurge in fault reports, this is not 'normal'. They are not all firmware related. Posters are saying quality of product has deteriorated since the shipping of order 500+.

So maybe you get the idea now? If you show no interest in what others are telling you because you think you know it all already you just live in your own little bubble of 'I am right'. Well I decided to have a look at the site and found out some facts. You two just spouted something from yesterday that you think will be true tomorrow. The world changes every second of every day, try keeping up.

Have to say Bargraphics is right again. Its great for a companies reputation to ship pieces of crap that hash like a turd straight out of the box. That won't effect order numbers at all.

I mean its not like anyone will order product based on reputation. I've got an idea, why don't we just send out empty boxes, we can just blame noobs for not being able to hash with the contents.

1204  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 26, 2013, 12:13:06 AM
I'm looking at their thread now, I can see 9 serious problem (no hashing) threads started in the last two days, there could be more but not sure from my phone.

Just found the next page button. Another 17 threads started in the last 48hours reporting big problems. I suggest you take a look Bargraphics rather than laugh it off.

friggin lol sumzero, I can see him running for his tights draw right now. unbelievable.
1206  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 25, 2013, 03:16:43 PM
25th October 2013 is today's date.

Within the next six days Ken will release the much anticipated quarterly accounts.

Ken might also reveal the status of the first chip batch order, as from the P&L and Balance sheet, we should be able to know if there was enough money raised to pay eASIC.  One would expect that part of the NDA restriction may be lifted once the money has been transferred, so this would indeed be a good time for Ken to update his shareholders, if we are in pre-production.

Conversely, consider that this money has been paid already and the chip run has started in earnest. If that's the case then I'd expect Ken to continue to withhold information while advancing the production schedule behind closed doors.  This is certainly a strategy that Ken has hinted at recently.

P.S.  Thanks for the spell check idea finfloss. My browser now has the squiggly lines popping up although it's set to US spelling, eek!

I'm off to get me a donut, cowboy.

At last some serious discussion. What is going on today?

The quarterly accounts will show how much we can take from the web orders and pump into further industrial miner production - obviously after making the retail units and shipping them on time. However once we start shipping, orders will flood in, it will be like turning on a tap and there is nothing preventing us from shipping just development time now.

I was under the impression eASIC were paid in full for development. Anyone else agree? Then we just make orders with eASIC for batches and pay for them when we have funds available?

1207  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 25, 2013, 03:12:46 PM
Why are you still going on about this? Are you upset or something? You are making the same point over and over.

My question was simple, if I knew where they Klondike chips were coming from I wouldn't have asked where they were coming from.

Now forgive me but from the quote Bargraphics used Ken was having to explain the Klondike situation as recently as 2nd of this month (October) so it's obviously been an area of uncertainty. You didn't know and I didn't know. The difference is you are still on your high-horse about it. Grow up FFS.
1208  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 25, 2013, 02:52:21 PM
Is it possible that the refund from the initial Avalon chips is actually more than the cost of the recent Klondike purchase and therefore money from that refund could still be going to PCIe development?

Ken offered the money he got back from the refund to shareholders as a one-off div payment. Board member (at that time) ffsixty came onto the thread to ask what we wanted. Most voted to have the money put back into development. So the refund money wasn't used for the Klondikes, it's all gone into the 'eASIC pot' so to speak.
1209  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 25, 2013, 02:34:24 PM
Guess I'm retarded but saying this is a scam and them implying that you will sue eASIC implies you think eASIC is a scam too. I'm done posting in this thread. Later!

You are 100% correct. He said it was a scam then said 'I didn't say it was a scam'.

Pretty pathetic that he can't own up to it. It's an easy mistake to make when you are ranting like a lunatic.
1210  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 25, 2013, 02:30:57 PM
as bargraphics and I both knew from a few months ago (because we were both invested then) the klondike order was different than the 20k chip order that was refunded.

You seem to be getting confused. I asked where the chips for the Klondikes came from didn't I? Simple question.

I also mentioned the Avalon chip refund in the same post. So no, I didn't think the chip refund also cancelled the Klondike order or had anything to do with it. You are really confused.

1211  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 25, 2013, 01:48:15 PM

20k chips already paid for
The 68 boards, at 16 chips per, 1088 chips and assembly paid for
Now the coming expense on the quote with the Engineering firm for the remaining chips to be assembled onto the Avalon clone boards

Is the above accurate?

Yes

Thanks for clearing that up Bargraphics.

And a warning to anyone else on here who wants to ask a simple question - don't bother, it's not worth the hassle as you can see.  Roll Eyes
1212  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 25, 2013, 01:40:21 PM
one can deduce with relatively high certainty that these are coming ASSEMBLED

lol - so you didn't know yourself! I thought as much.  Wink

Well done Bargraphics, but it looks like finlof is jumping on your coat tails now pretending he knew the details all along.

Hey Mr finlof, yeah look dude, I like have a job, and I can't be on here every minute making sure there isn't a single Ken post that I don't miss. So how do you like that excuse?!

Such a big big deal made over 4btc a week split between 10Mills shares. lol I'm glad these Klondikes are on the way cause that extra 0.00001 Satoshis they will make me will bring my early retirement so much closer.

In other words, pay attention to the important stuff, if you bailed because of the Klondikes finlof?Huh

LOL! Cheesy Cheesy
1213  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 25, 2013, 12:09:28 PM
OK as finlof has gone back under his rock (Edit - he's back horay!) I'll stick my neck out again and ask about the Klondikes.

I've read the first few pages of BkkCoins thread and the last few. He started the Klondike project but doesn't seem to have been around for a month, maybe more. So there are other developers in charge now. Anyway  chips have been put on these boards but there were firmware issues as recently as two days ago which were giving 20% errors - a big deal. But now the code has been sorted.

Hi all,

The firmware issue was found and fixed a few hours ago!   I've confirmed it on my test unit as have others.  ZERO HW errors and over 5gh/s @350MHz.  The K16's are a go!

I think there will be some code cleanup, boot loader and a few other more minor things yet, but I suspect all the assemblers will start pumping them out now.

And it's only recently that Steamboat has had his chips running successfully on a Klondike - he sent the news by email I can't find it on the thread to date this email.

So is Steamboat sending out Klondikes with his Avalon clones attatched? It's the only conclusion I can see. If not Ken is putting the chips on?

It's not a big issue, hasn't been in a long time since the difficulty went mental, these boards if they are not hashing above 307GH will make us 4btc a week. Not each no.
1214  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 25, 2013, 11:34:49 AM
do your own research in this company you believe in so much.  the ordered avalon chips were to build avalon clones.  these klondikes come with chips.

'Do your own research in this company which you believe in so much. The ordered Avalon chips were to build Avalon clones.  These Klondikes come with chips.'

Fixed that for you. Maybe you should learn to spell, punctuate and use grammar correctly before you try being smart on here and correcting other peoples spelling?

if you are going to call people names, learn to spell psychopath.

 Cheesy

Helen Keller

lol, where do you get this stuff from? You'll be quoting Mother Teresa next.
1216  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 25, 2013, 11:19:40 AM

Asking the question was part of my research. So where does it say these boards come with chips? I'd prefer to see a believable source rather than believe some smart arse on here.

Lots of posts on the Klondike thread mentioning seperately sourced chips, so what's the deal finlof?

Very, very cool. Nice work guys.

Even though I refunded my chips, I'm still glad to see progress on the boards. After following the thread for so long, it'll be nice to know the design is working, even if I never see any.
1217  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 25, 2013, 10:07:19 AM

  • An order of Avalon chips from steamboat's batch #1, for 68 Klondike-16 boards, rated at 68*16*282 = 307 GH/s;

I guess it's "something"

So we got a refund on our Avalon chips didn't we? So what chips will we be putting onto these boards? Either we have some Avalon chips or something else?
1218  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 24, 2013, 08:20:54 PM
Just to be clear about the steak dinner.

None of you were invited. It will just be me, Ken and Kleeck.

No problem, if that's what Ken meant by his post that's cool but I thought he was making an open invitation from what he said.
1219  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 24, 2013, 07:17:59 PM
Great ideas guys.  Might I suggest that we start a fund and request that Ken holds onto the first big div payment to pay for the trip?

I'll be flying from Manchester Airport, UK, so if any of you guys live near and want to share limos, just give me a shout.  Don't worry if you have pretended to be a US citizen up until now.

It wouldn't be right for VenerealEruptor to go uninvited so perhaps some kind soul might buy him a couple of ActM shares, I'll organise Ken's body armour.

Sorry that mumble/bALLBREAKER can't be there, I'm sure he's got a very important appointment with his qwerty.

Jolly good show.  Grin

If VE goes then I won't be there and probably neither will Ken so count VE out. No body armour will be required there will be enough of us all to keep it safe and if we are worth that much Ken will be worth even more so he will have a bodyguard for sure by then. I'm UK too, we can meet up before the trip. A shame Concord is no longer flying would love a trip on the incredible piece of engineering, but Branson may be helping out with the estimated 20Mill needed to bring her out of retirement.
1220  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 24, 2013, 06:52:56 PM
No reason we can't do both. You are right, a NYC meet up would be just incredible. Then a flight to Springfield to meet up with Ken, see the facilities then another nice meal where we can all raise a glass to the CEO.

I'd want to purchase a VMC rig while there and ship it home, not necessarily just for mining, but also it will be something to show the grandchildren.
