China has breached $1,000.

On what exchange? You been on the funny cigarettes again Ozy?

Btcchina at 6700 cny or $1099.80

Btc China - how can there be a 300 dollar difference? I know btc China is supposed to only be for Chinese citizens. Apparently not anymore.

This is going to end in tears. I thought 700USD was the top now it's at 822.

There will be a lot of pissed off Chinese housewives after this crashes.

Ken, cancel and refund all customers orders and use 100% chips in your own mining farm.
That would be the only smart move.

You've been on here months and I've never seen you make any smart suggestions.

The user neilol and I are in the process of planning a trip to Missouri this Friday. We are wondering if anybody would like to donate for the travel expenses and for lists of questions Ken will MOST LIKELY let us report back with.

I'd be interested in knowing what questions you are intending on asking.

As many as possible. I'd rather flood him with questions and hope he bites on a few.

I question your intentions for this visit if you are trying to catch Ken out.

It was a bad idea to price the miner in USD

If you price them in BTC only you won't get half as many orders. So it was not a bad idea.
1048  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 18, 2013, 11:05:00 PM
Can we have a vote to decrease divs to 30% of profits? Maximizing reinvestment, I believe this is where the other companies failed.

You are going the wrong way. Our reinvest costs are in USD. Each btc is now worth 3x what it was in USD. We mine in BTC so less not more of the mining output is needed to generate the same amount of FIAT for reinvestment. We can increase divs to 70% if this BTC price holds.
1049  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 18, 2013, 11:02:00 PM
Why are you panicking because the price of bitcoin has risen?

It's a GOOD thing.

Now each block creates $20,000 as opposed to $2,500 so there is more incentive to mine and thus we will have even more competition.

You think there are thousands of machines switched off at $200 but on at $750?

Rediculous.

The shares are not going to go down because BTC goes up. Our mining output and overall profit will dictate what the shares are in BTC not the price of BTC.
1050  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 18, 2013, 10:58:55 PM
I am not trolling! I just can't see how we are ever getting our Bitcoin back as it rises to the sky like this.

Trust me, if Bitcoin remained at $100 for this entire time I would not be panicking at all.

You keep saying this about BTC. In what way does it going up make us LESS likely to start mining? You are talking nonsense.
1051  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 18, 2013, 10:53:09 PM
I asked Ken via PM whether there would still be a big announcement by the end of November. He said yes.

Could you quite your whining now?

Ken also said that on here a week ago. DTS will still whine. I've told DTS in several PM's what the situation is and he pretends to be reassured then comes on here and says the same old things.

Troll Alert.
1052  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 18, 2013, 10:51:46 PM
if we fail on our promise to deliver by November then why hold on?

As I said to you before EVERY mining business has unforseen delays. Every major project has that possibility from building a house to an Olympic Park. Why do you think we would be any different and why do you think that makes Ken a liar?
1053  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 18, 2013, 10:45:19 PM
DTS-

Do you know why that doesn't matter? Because it will mean we don't need to ship their miners and we can use them on our farm.

IF they do want the refund that's fine - how many do you think will take it with the miners about to ship?

Zero.

when someone points out that we are extremely late with the schedule here..

That's fine, personal insults and disgusting attacks on other posters intent and endless negative post after negative post  is not really helpful is it Mr VE?

You really think that insulting Ken day after day will make him get us mining quicker?

That might be what your wife needs to do to you to get your ass off the couch but that says more about you and your dysfunctional relationship than anyone else.
1058  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 18, 2013, 10:15:42 PM
if a lot of ActM knew that Ken would only have 1TH/S hashing by late November, I bet they would have never invested.

No kidding Sherlock. Wanna look into your crystal ball and tell us anything else?

 Kiss
