The best way to save is to spend less and save more. Choose a bank account with more advantage of perks along with more interest. Don’t spend huge money for entertaining yourself. Spend less money on beverages drink and cigs if you smoke. Cutting down on holiday vacations also helps a lot.
If you have a habit of getting into trouble with credit cards its a better choice to quit using a credit card except for emergencies.
Last thing i would suggest is to always look ahead  Smiley

Choosing a bank account to save your money is great but it got low interest. You only got around 6-7% per year and you need to put in a good amount to get bigger profit. And why dont you try to make some investment? You can get bigger profit rather than let them stayed in your bank. Although there is a risk through it but it is worth to try

6%-7%?! Tell me where to get it. Here, in the Netherlands, you can be glad when you have 1% interest on your bank savings now.. It really sucks, especially because we're obligated to pay tax about your income from interest (which is 1,2% of your savings..) and because of inflation.

Investing is likely to lead to a bigger profit, but there's a bigger risk too.
342  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: June 22, 2015, 02:22:19 PM
Well its like draining money from your bank account with a draining machine. It is slow but eventually your account will be left empty...

That is not true. In fact, due to interest, your amount of dollars / euros will actually increase yearly. It won't empty; it will only increase.

However, yes, you can buy less and less yearly with your dollars / euros as the inflation is higher than the interest.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DIEM] CarpeDiemCoin - Alive and well!!! on: June 22, 2015, 01:33:17 PM
What a crazy trading on Polo  Shocked

Looks like the XMR market went +732,5% for CarpeDiemCoin indeed. Five minutes ago it was 'just' +500%

However, trading volumes are really few. Have you already looked at the CarpeDiemCoin > BTC market? This coin currently has the lowest price possible yet..

344  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to be fearless? on: June 22, 2015, 01:17:34 PM
all in your mindset.
fear comes when you think something bad will happened to you and you think you can't stop or handle it.
face the fear with change your mindset.

That might be correct indeed. However, it is not just about changing your mindset. By for example practising Martial Arts or self-defense tactics, you will increase your capability of dealing with specific situations (that might cause fear in the first place). By doing this, there are more situations about which you think you can deal with (and this reduces your fear).

Be prepared, not scared.

So if you are in for the to-the-moon jump you better have a lot of patience and self control))

That's true. However, I think you should also short-term invest a bit in altcoins. Atleast, if you have the time (and knowledge & experience) to do that.

Short term trading made my total worth of cryptocurrency in BTC or dollar / Euro increase a lot. Even when you make small profits, you can use these to re-invest.
346  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: June 22, 2015, 01:11:19 PM
just dont save your mone on banks as we now that you gonna losing you money bexause inflataion Cheesy
It won't lose if you keep it until it can earn an interest because your money lose if you only save in bank just in a few years. Its takes a lot of time to earn a profit from interest. But its better to save in bitcoin because your coins or money are excepted to inflation.

While the current inflation is higher than the interest, in fact you will "loose some money"; in the sense that the profit from the interest is actually less than the loss of spendable income is (due to inflation).

However, that does not make saving money on a bank useless: be sure you always have some money as a back-up when something goes wrong; like unexpected costs.

@ Amitabh S:

Alright, I didn't know you were asking whether there are free slots or not. I see that '11 active members' have been crossed through in the first post of this topic.

You should PM Carra23 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=122354). I see he's online now, so I think you will have your answer quite soon.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the LTC price hit $30? How wide market altcoin indices can predict on: June 18, 2015, 02:04:42 PM
3 to 30?
you can't expect that.

I think we can. Especially because the rewards are halving soon (which will - in my opinion - increase the value as the supply is likely to decrease).

However, we can't predict the future. I think we just have to sit back and see how it goes Wink.

How about starting to actually read atleast the first post of this topic before you join the campaign?

I will quote it for you:

Once you're in the list, your enrolled. And the payment went to monthly, as was said before in this topic:

Payments for this term has been made https://blockchain.info/tx/0bb66e49a8408467be505f44622e7f61039da801430b2f45920c22b4f5652646

The campaign is now further downsizing and changing to a monthly payment. The google doc for June campaign has been updated with the starting posts.

352  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: need EUR 2.400 loan on: June 17, 2015, 07:06:33 PM

Like I said, it is quite hard to do that with a website.. He cannot simply "own" it for a while.

I have proof of profits from domain name too, why not?

You want to transfer the website to the escrow? You want him to own the domain? You still can hold the website on it's own by yourself..

And the website needs your footages in order to generate income.. There's no way to make sure you keep sending quality footages to the escrow in order to remain an income. And besides that, I don't think any escrow is willing to take such deal with such collateral unfortunately.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the LTC price hit $30? How wide market altcoin indices can predict on: June 17, 2015, 07:04:06 PM
Why would an uninteresting, uninnovative shitcoin reach $10-30? It's already amazing that LTC got this high.

I'm betting on a heavy dump soon.

I won't call Litecoin a shitcoin. It has a history as it was the first altcoin (right?). Many people have spend hours/days/weeks or even months mining this coin, and some of them might even still keep mining LTC directly. Besides that, I think many users do have some LTC or atleast some parts of LTC.  Mark my words, when we experience a nice increase in value of the BTC, we will see at least the same rise of the value of LTC (and probably more).

If you ever check out the digital goods section, you usually see like 2-3 threads on netflix accounts, which are also trying to be given in the gambling section.

Not hard to pretty much to get a free online version like hulu plus, but netflix is very limited on shows.

That is what I was talking about indeed. There are also a few topics in which you can buy Netflix accounts really cheap.

Sure, Netflix does not offer all movies and all series, but I don't think there is a need for that. The hours I've spent with Netflix were great. Eventhough their amount of series and movies is limited, they've got quite some good movies and series available for all the users. I don't have anything to complain about Netflix (it also works great; click a movie / serie and it will start in great quality and with subtitles). It works better than illegal alternatives (and besides that, it is legal).

Great job, and great way to cover your unexpected expenses, but can i ask you? how much you can save every time you get your salary? or what is the percentage value of your savings from your salary?

From my regular job? I think that's only about 10% maximum - but that really depends on the months. Some months are more expensive than others. At some months, I don't have any possibilities to save a lot of my regular job income - but I can still create some extra's by working for my part time job. If I do not need these extra's then to cover the costs, I can actually save some money.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the LTC price hit $30? How wide market altcoin indices can predict on: June 17, 2015, 11:52:18 AM
If I remember well, it was worth about $50 when the Bitcoin was at its ATH.

Yes, I think we will hit such values again. However, this really depends on the value of BTC on itself. I think LTC is going to be worth more (in terms of BTC) because most altcoins these days are increasing in value (with regard to the Bitcoin), and this pattern will happen again (at a fast pace) as soon as the BTC gains value. This has happend before; people think it is too expensive for them to buy a whole BTC and therefore choose to buy multiple entire altcoins. It doesn't really makes sense, but I guess it's just the feeling to own an entire coin (like 1 LTC) instead of 0,05 BTC.

358  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Worth investing now? on: June 17, 2015, 11:47:27 AM
I think most altcoins are way more volatile.

for sure, they are, just because market cap is usually quite low, so "few guys" with some BTC may completely manipulate exchanges:)

OP: because you are not business and you don't have experience, is better for you just buy directly instead of mine..

Correct. However, this volatility enables you to short-term trade between altcoins. Although this requires some knowledge, experience and luck, this might enable you to make some nice profit. The less volatile the coins are, the less profit or loss you are likely to make with investing in it.

Besides short term investing in altcoins, you might also consider long term investing in altcoins. The history shows that as soon as the Bitcoin is increasing a lot in value, much altcoins increase even (much) more in value. I think we're going to experience this pattern again. However, don't place your bet on 1 horse (as we say in the Netherlands); spread your investments so you won't loose everything if 1 coin dies instead of starts sky-rocketing.
359  Local / Off-topic (Nederlands) / Re: NL or EU computer component stores accepting bitcoin? on: June 17, 2015, 11:40:57 AM

This. I have good experience with Sicomputers.nl, although it sometimes might take long before you receive your ordered components (as stocks appear to be minimal in my view).

ShopemNL, a Dutch member of this board, also owns https://www.bitbill.nl/. With BitBill you can pay ordinary payments with Bitcoin. (They pay your bill in Euro's, and you pay that amount of Euro's in BTC to them). This enables you to "pay with Bitcoin" at much more online shops!
360  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: June 17, 2015, 11:35:49 AM
You save money by earning more.
Thats opposite then most views, but heres why. Theres a certain extent you can only save so much, clip coupons, order from the dollar menu, living a horrible frugal life style.
When you could be increasing cashflow by being creative.. and still be frugal.

I just assumed that everyone is already doing whatever they can to earn more, so it didn't make much sense to talk about it.
And when it comes to savings, i always prefer methods that doesn't compromise lifestyle too much, but still offer certain amount of savings to be made.

cheers

And I also believe that you can go for some extra job like part time which would add value to your wallet financially and basic day to day expenses can be taken care of by your extra earnings which would make your salary safe and could be useful at the time of emergencies or in the future.

With my regular job, I try to cover all my overall costs. Including rent, food, drinks, my car, utility etc etc. Doing extra work at my part time job gives me some more freedom (as I nearly needs my whole salary to cover these costs). But yes, this extra income is often used to pay unexpected costs (like repairments for my car) or otherwise I often save this money. But I mostly do more part time job when I am really in the need of the money  (thus to cover (unexpected) costs).
