That's easy.  ISIS is nearly 100% CIA who have no 'islamic' contingent and the 'war' is a psyop.  Obama speaks the truth for once in his miserable life.

This reminds me of GW Bush accidentally (perhaps) speaking the truth:

I can't believe some people actually believe in such things. Sure, during the cold war, the USA supported some folks to fight / defend against communism. Yes, I think these folks are now also involved in "Islam terrorist attacks" / ISIS etc. But that the CIA is actually leading ISIS, or as you mention ISIS contains of about 100% CIA people, makes me laugh. Have you ever seen trained armed forces fight ISIS? If they would contain of 100% CIA members, I'm sure they would have a much better training lol.

322  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: June 28, 2015, 07:27:03 PM
I like the power of BTC It could give people from anywhere in the world a way to trade and connect.

This; it provides a fast way of payment to a location you like. International transactions through banks are expensive and might take long. This makes the Bitcoin great.

Besides that, I think it's great to have another kind of currency that is NOT controlled by banks; thus the Bitcoin being decentralized.
323  Other / Off-topic / Re: what is your fav movie on: June 26, 2015, 10:22:00 PM
I don't really have 1 favorite I guess. But I already saw some names of movies over here that I did really enjoy.

Boondocks saints

My favorite movie is Green Mile.

And I can add many to that, including;

- The Shawshank Redemption
- Schindler's List
- Gladiator
- Law Abiding Citizen
- ..

I recently saw Gran Torino again. I think that's a quite nice movie too.

guys...i play sometimes...i cant won...its strange for me - always i made one bet,one pool...i think this bets unlucky for me Sad i cry ...

It's not "strange", it's all about luck. I've placed multiple bets, and I've won once.

It's all about placing a nice bet on the right pool. As the chance that a small pool is going to mine the next block is little, betting on suchs pools is bringing you huge rewards (IF that pool does mine the next block. But again, that chance is small in relation to other (bigger) pools).

*snip*
That is a smart man, yes he does have high costs associated with the units, but once they start to become paid off and mortgage free, he has greatly increased income from them.  OR he has valuable real estate assets that he could cash out and have a large chunk of cash.

I have put a lot of thought into doing what you described him doing, starting with one, getting to know the ropes, and then expanding.  As long as the initial mortgage leaves enough room to cover costs, then you should be profiting from day 1 (assuming housing is in high demand and you can find tenants quickly).  Usually thats not an issue in college towns.

I don't think he will be completely mortgage free soon (as he keeps buying new properties), but he can by selling a few indeed.

I don't think the initial mortgage is enough to cover the costs; he bought (and fixed) a house with his very first mortgage. Since that day, he uses the income (rent) of these rooms to - cover his expenses - and to cover the costs of that mortgage. And, then there is a premium. I think with this premium, he can take another new mortgage on a new property (where the very same happens).

Now, years later, I'm sure some of his mortgages are like at 80% paid-back. As soon as some mortgages have been paid back, his premium will grow and grow (and I think that's a situation we all would like to have Wink). Renting out 4-5 rooms will atleast bring him €1600 / € 2000 per month (per house).

The bold text is very probable to happen. The man you have just described seems to know what he is doing, because he doesn't lease his houses just to get by every month, instead, he rolls out his profits to buy another house to further increase his potential income. Assuming that the rent for a place to stay increases every year because of more people needing space to live in, this man will be very happy in the coming years. The mortgage would be paid back (most of it, if not all, unless he sold all his houses) plus he would have a steady income as long as there are tenants living in his houses. I think that real estate and a place to live in is the best investment to have because people compete for space and they will be willing to pay any costs just to have a place to stay in.

Indeed. There is quite a huge shortage of payable student rooms in that city. I often work there (or in the neightbourhood) and it's really a college town. Sure, there are still rooms for rent, but the rooms that are not occupied yet either are way too small, too ugly (/old) or the price is way too high. However, not many rooms are available at this moment and, as soon as the new college year will start, there will be a huge demand for rooms again.

I think that's a great way to live (as you can see him as his own boss). Unfortunately I'm not that good in repairing and upgrading rooms, neither do I have the required amount of money to get a mortgage over now. (Since the crisis it's quite hard to get a mortgage here in the Netherlands).

Here's what I've been told about real estate as far as saving money from it: don't become a landlord unless you handle commercial real estate, running a bunch of apartments just blows completely, you're always fixing crap or dealing with tenant issues.

If you handle houses, pick an urban area that's growing fast and buy stuff in the areas that the city will grow into over the next ten years or so, and make your money there.

That or just make your money from commissions.

One area I've looked into is housing in college towns.  Houses that typically wouldn't rent or sell for much can be rented to college students at 400-500/person.  Yes they may be messier than typical tenants, but they also will probably live in a place that doesn't need to look all that special.

That's a kind of movement I experience in my environment over here; houses are bought and then multiple (4-5) student rooms are created. It works quite well, as most "student cities" / college towns here in The Netherlands have shortages of these rooms.

I really think this is a good way to invest your money, atleast, if you are quite handy by yourself (as you indeed have to fix and improve things). However, you will need another mortage to buy such houses.

This is an advantage if you are leasing some apartments/rooms/houses. If you know how to do some fixing and repairs, you will definitely save a little money on your profit and can use that money to buy or earn some money for your future businesses.

Indeed. Although you will have to pay a big amount of money each month for your mortgage, you will also have much income. Other costs like elektricity, water and gas and insurances and taxes you also have to pay, but in the end it is definately still worth it. Actually I know one man who owns multiple houses (for students) in 1 city here in The Netherlands. I think he's into this business for atleast 15-20 years now, but he keeps investing his money into new houses. As soon as a student leaves a room, he decides whether he is going to rent out this room again straight away or fix it / clean it first. He mostly does the latter (if he has the time), as he is also likely to ask a higher rent.  Only in periods where multiple students are leaving their rooms, he does not paint every room over again (because he really does EVERYTHING on his own).

That man rather lives poor than rich though. Although he has a great income I'm sure he has huge costs. However, as still own these houses, he is likely to have a lot of money as soon as he starts selling some. Actually he can start selling houses now in order to fulfill his mortgages (and I think he still has couple of houses then, 100% of him). However, he keeps investing. I think he wants to make his children happy (as soon as he dies, lol).

Looking at the multiple (terrorist) attacks today, we might should expect a world war against IS regions. Sure, currently already multiple countries are participating in bombing IS, but I think terrorist attacks like today make it only worse for them. Maybe more countries will join the armed forces. Too bad also innocent victims will also be part of the death count, but those people in Tunisia laying down on the beach were innocent too.  This world is fucked up.

If you read the thread you'll see I calculated his. 14 cents a day. Anyone who thinks that is worth it needs a reality check.

I think I missed that, sorry. That ain't much indeed..

I looked, it's just not there to redeem as bitcoin. I think there's been a misunderstanding between rewards and shopping? I have no clue, but what a bummer.  Undecided

You can, if you want, buy these giftcards and sell them here for Bitcoin. Like for example Amazon giftcards. Worth $5, I think you can sell them for about $4.50 in Bitcoin if that is what you want Wink.

I haven't tried Tango Cards myself yet.

So far I've earned several Xbox gift cards, Skype minutes etc.

Do I miss something? Or didn't you earned these gift cards and Skype minutes with using Bing as your search provider? I did reconize an referal-URL though Wink, however, I don't mind to use it. Unfortunately I also see the message that this reward option is not available in my country..

Is there an idea about how much you will actual earn with using Bing instead of Google? I think we all use Google quite often - and even more then we do realize. If we can earn some extra presents with using Bing instead, I might swap too. (although I have to find a proxy-way or something then).

333  Economy / Digital goods / Re: WTS Amazon 50$ GIFT CARD ASKING 40$ on: June 25, 2015, 07:45:35 PM
Digital But I can prove they are legit , Not fraud , They where bought from amazon.com

Alright. I think you need to provide some proof in order to be able to sell these codes. We've had many sellers over here who sold Amazon giftcard codes (digital) which were also bought from Amazon.com. However, they appeared to be bought with cracked / hacked accounts. As soon as Amazon finds this out, they will deduct that balance again (and therefore the buyer of these codes is screwed over..).

Your price is right though Wink.
334  Other / Off-topic / Re: TV Series Recommendations... on: June 25, 2015, 07:42:17 PM
house of cards

I still have to start with House of Cards. Yet i've started with season 4 of Homeland. I think Homeland is definately a recommendation for everyone, especially if you're into some action and tension. House of Cards is on top of my list of series-to-be-watched-next Wink.
335  Economy / Digital goods / Re: WTS Amazon 50$ GIFT CARD ASKING 40$ on: June 25, 2015, 07:40:29 PM
Are you selling a physical gift card or a digital one - a gift code?

And, is there any proof about how did you obtain this gift card?

What a small simple bet can do, huh? Roll Eyes

Try your luck with block # 362777! bettingblocks.com

It does Wink.

I still wait for some day that an bet like the last one (on Eligius) happen to me hehe. That's a great profit Wink. Although I know that the chance that such party is going to mine the next block, is small.

...because now a days teenager or employed people don't think or they not believing in saving. They just only want to spend their money in their own way, their not thinking about their future, when they not have a job, or incase of emergency etc.

I don't think that is true. I think this really differs from human to human.

I also see this in the people around me. Some of them really do save a lot (and maybe too much..), and others save way too less. It's often the latter group that have periods in which they need to loan money, as they are likely to spend all their income indeed. As soon as an unexpected cost appear, they will have to loan money (from someone) to be able to pay it..

339  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Worth investing now? on: June 23, 2015, 07:38:03 PM
might actually just be a better idea to wait and see what will actually happen with the fork ?

The decision to wait (for whatever reason) or not can only be evaluated at the end.. It might be a great decision now to wait with buying Bitcoins yet, as the value might be -50$ in a week for example. But, the value might also increase. Whether or not you should invest now (or wait), is a bit like gambling I think. (Although some knowledge is usefull).

Thanks again for the payment. Everything went smoothly. But there is something wrong with the signature... It worked fine last time I was logged in...
This bug  only affects some Hero Members Sigs apparently. Senior Sig works fine.

It is a strange bug, Don007's seem to be working fine.

Report it and in the meantime use the Sr. Member signature.

Is my current one still working fine? If I have to switch to another one too, please contact me.
