Yeah, I updated the OP but forgot to post here.  Good to see you are on top of your coin.

I think there are less than a handful of POS coins with real long term value and DMD is at the top of that short list.

-tb-

I have not really looked into that coin yet, but I think I will later on. However, I've got to buy them instead of mining I guess. The time that mining with a single GPU was actually profitable is over unfortunately. Good to see your pools are still up and running Techbytes! Smiley

i think we should say the more you know skills even if its not professional, you can earn more than you studied it.

That indeed has always been the situation over here. Sure, people who went to college tend to earn more. However, these days, more and more graduates are looking for jobs. As they have to get a job (to get a kind of income), nowadays they also accept jobs that require lower skills levels or they accept the same jobs but for less money.
264  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: July 27, 2015, 08:07:50 PM
I've got a couple of mistakes. Let's start with these two.

#1; I was in the need of money and I sold a part of my BTC at what I thought was the right moment. Later it turned out that that was one of the worst moments to sell BTC..
#2; I invested a large part of my BTC in Scrypt ASIC mining devices. I'm still waiting on these devices and I think they will not show up anymore ("Fibonacci").

265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you expect from dice sites? on: July 27, 2015, 04:52:25 PM
Dice site ? ohh I don't play dice. I think it can be adjustable by the owner when you win and when you lose

Yes all these sites are there to make money for them self so definitely all those sites are under site owners control. So it is no way safe to bet on these sites and loose money.

Gambling sites are created to make money for the owners, but they can win it with the house edge legitimately.
Though some sites ended up as a scam, most do not.

I agree with you. I think that really depends on which website you use to gamble; only choose the right ones! When a website can't proove that they and their games are legit, simply don't gamble over there. Being legit / fair is the first #1 rule for gambling sites / dice sites.

Binnenkort kom ik weer met een leuke nieuwe reden om eGulden te steunen, nog een geduld Smiley
Was dit de reden? De online cloud Wallet?
http://www.bitcoinupdate.nl/home/stiekem-naar-de-nieuwe-egulden-wallet-kijken

How much for GTA V.. oh, just.. is this shop still online?

I think you can better send both iloveyu and wakkaa622 PM about this (as iloveyu was a newer account of Wakka). However, I see that Wakka622 has been online recently too.

I'm also wondering whether these deals still apply. I hope so, I still have to buy GTA V on Steam. I guess I will do this in a couple of weeks.
268  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: July 27, 2015, 04:39:52 PM
i am from Macedonia. In my country the minimal salary is 150 euros, with that kind of salary you can not save 20% because everything is expensive. But there are another ways to save money. You can do your shopping in the big markets and on every shopping you can save. You can also use the public transport because it is good way to go from a to b, etc.
just get a good job and you can save, and its all depend on your skill, you can't get a good job if you did't finished college. Education is important than experienced.

I don't agree with you on that part. Here in the Netherlands more and more people get educated and therefore much more people go to college. However, now even educated people have to take lower-skilled jobs in order to get a job, as it's quite hard for young people to get a job over here. And if you find a good job (at your level), experience makes you different from others (and that makes you the better choice).

At my job, I quite lack the right education for the job. However, I've got a lot of experience and I know how to do the job, I learned almost everything in practise. I got promoted to this job, and people with the right education didn't. It's not all about education anymore I guess.

269  Local / Alt Coins (Nederlands) / Re: Grote guldencoin topic - 88 Winkels Accepteren Guldencoin - ios app - nocks.nl on: July 21, 2015, 12:54:57 PM

Today we present our browser extension Nocks Nimble.

Nocks Nimble integrates Nocks into your browser. Nimble automatically recognizes Guldencoin and Bitcoin addresses so sending a payment is only a few clicks away.

In this video we show you how to install the browser extension and we give you two examples on how you can use Nimble.

Go to https://nocks.nl/nimble

Super! Ik vind het echt leuk om te zien dat de GuldenCoin community zich steeds verder blijft ontwikkelen. Ook dit is een goede zaak en een verbetering voor de coin. Veel andere altcoins kunnen hier nog wat van leren.

Keep on going guys!
270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So we can get paid BTC for searching on Bing? on: July 21, 2015, 12:52:59 PM
A Tango Card CANNOT be redeemed for bitcoin at this time. So no, I don't think one can easily convert Bing searches into bitcoin.

...

Bing Rewards are not easily converted to bitcoin yet.

Indeed, that is already mentioned in this topic. However, you still can convert your Bing Rewards indirectly for Bitcoin. I gave the example of the Amazon gift card earlier. You can get a Amazon Gift Card ($5) for your Bing Rewards point and then sell it for example here on this forum for BTC. Yes, you will loose some of your value as you will receive about $4.25 for it (in Bitcoin) I guess, but this means there is an indirect way to convert to Bitcoin if that is what you like.

271  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: July 19, 2015, 09:54:09 PM
fiat money is making our money worth less year by year salary doesnt raise as inflation soo we loose purchasing power of basic products soo bitcoin can loose or gain value but the ammount would keep the same 1 btc will be 1 btc in 10 years if not spended.Soo change from fiat to bitcoin can become the best way to save money

I don't think you really get the idea of inflation. Yes, 1 BTC is 1 BTC in 10 years. However, 1 dollar is also 1 dollar in 10 years.

Yes, you're right; you will loose purchasing power. But as the BTC is somehow linked to the dollar / euro (I mean, you can trade 1 BTC for dollars or euro's), this means BTC is harmed by inflation too:

When you sell 1 BTC for 300 dollar now, inflation will hit these 300 dollars and these dollars will be worth less in 10 years. But that's the same for your Bitcoins. If you BTC are worth $300 now, they will be worth about $200 in 10 years due to inflation. CETERIS PARIBUS!  I think it's hard for me to explain this, but as the BTC is linked to fiat, inflation will hit BTC too.

If the price of the BTC remains the same, you can buy more now than you can buy in 10 years with the same 1 BTC. Due to inflation.
272  Other / Off-topic / Re: AdSense Beginner Need a help on: July 19, 2015, 02:04:02 PM
As stated, the waiting period is usually longer than 24h - usually a few days to a week. My suggestion to not be rejected/get banned is to be careful placing the ads near buttons and especially do not incite visitors to click on them. Many faucets get banned/rejected because Google considers their traffic to be incentivized traffic (this is against Google's Terms of Service). Still though, depending on what kind of faucet it is you may be able to get away with it - like freebitco.in. I think because they are not just a faucet, but more of a game. If I'm not mistaken, gambling is also against the Google ToS so it's a fine line to walk. Good luck!

This, it will take some time. Probably longer than you expect.

Indeed, really be careful how you deal with the ToS; read the rules very well and follow them. I've owned a website with another person and he got his AdSense account banned because we should have manually set traffic to hit the ads. In fact we didn't, but we've seen some strange activity on our website at that moment. Probably other parties trying to ruin your AdSense income / AdSense account. I only found out later that you can report this and ask for AdSense to deduct the balance of the income deriving from that behaviour of others, but we didn't at that moment.  Once you're banned I think it is really hard to get unbanned. Be really carefull thus Wink.

I'm not sure how Google is looking at faucets or gambling websites. I think your website should have some degree of useful content. Just a faucet is not enough I think..
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So we can get paid BTC for searching on Bing? on: July 19, 2015, 01:59:16 PM
I use Bing for years and I have earned gift cards.  I usually get  a 5 USD Amazon card 1 time per month.

As for Bing only doing it for the USA.  It must be all they could afford to spend.

I am working towards an Amazon card.

You earn a $5 Amazon GC each month??
You must spend a decent amount of time doing searches daily right? Do you do more than just searches?
About how much time would you estimate you spend grinding towards a meager $5

I've never recorded how much searches I do, but I think I Google quite a lot each day. If this is the case for philipma1957, it's quite nice to receive such giftcards although $5 isn't much. But, in the end, you did not have to do anything extra for it. (Atleast, if you're not going to search more because of the income).

There are some calculations in this topic, which point out that you actually have to search a lot for this. There's no point in searching extra much in order to receive those $5.. Spending way less time on a regular job is way faster then. But as soon as it's just an extra without any extra efforts, why not? Wink.
274  Other / Off-topic / Re: TV Series Recommendations... on: July 18, 2015, 09:42:57 PM
I ended up that it consumes to much time to watch a tv series but if you have time why not

It does take a lot of time indeed. However, I use to watch an episode of a serie before I go to sleep. I can't sleep when I go to bed, first i've to watch TV for atleast an hour or so. (Yes, I could start reading, but I'm not really into reading). By watching (atleast) one episode a day (when I've got the time for that), I can you can follow the storyline quite well. Which improves the serie often Smiley .

Our main task right now is to grow weekly prize pool for block "777" up to ~$2k.
Such prizes will attract lost of users and then we could start improving our games and adding new features.

You're right on that. Whether the price pool is about 0.5 BTC or 5 BTC does indeed influences the users that are going to bet. As you mention it could be the best way to first attract more people into your websites and then start looking at adding new features.

The current 0.5 BTC is quite attractive for a lot of users too I guess, but more is Always better Wink.

I agree and also the site needs to get improved to get more people interested Smiley

Yep. In my opinion the website does not look very professional but that might be personal. Besides that, I think there should be a way to make the website somehow more easy to use. For example the way to make use of coupons was quite weird for me the first place.
You mean that you need to go on another site (block777.com) and press on that face? Cheesy

Indeed, I mean that face. It took me some minutes before I finally find out what to do to use that coupon hehe. I didn't notice in the first place that it would be a kind of button.
276  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to be fearless? on: July 17, 2015, 11:18:56 AM
Do the things that scares you. Once you’ve noticed the fear inside you, remind yourself that it’s all in the mind and that 80% of fears NEVER HAPPEN.

Does reminding yourself that the chance that a particular fear is becoming reality is quite small, helps you release the fear? I don't really agree with that. The fact that something might happen, regardless of the chance, causes fear in that case.

Preparing yourself to deal with specific kinds of your actual fear works better I guess; because you know you can do anything about it. That's better than only thinking 'that won't happen to me because the chance is so small..'.
