1561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is being too nice. Most people don't deserve the chance to buy it so cheap. on: June 20, 2022, 09:48:41 PM
The ones who will miss this train also might never see another. Do you really think BTC will be so cheap for the next years to come? Once it goes in the $1xx,xxx zone you better get used to it.

BTC is being too nice because most people don't deserve another chance after they had thousands of chances to buy it cheap and did nothing.
But in real life, the ones who misses the train can still ride on another train as trains don't remain on one position but they keep on moving, the same scenario can be applied here in cryptos. Btc/price being the train and is volatile.

Btc in the future might not be cheaper as its price now but at least it can still fall right after an all time high and people can still buy it and be able to make a profit once it recovers and reach another new ath but I think a bigger dumps is still possible because if we look at last time when btc hit 69k, it then falls up to this point. It can mean that the higher price gets, the heavier the dump can also be experienced.
1562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Lido Staked ETH (stETH) is depegging, is this another disaster? on: June 20, 2022, 09:04:11 PM
I've heard about it and learned that the crypto market has had a topsy-turvy week when a flurry of negative news about Celsius and Three Arrows Capital's performance caused a "chain effect" on the market. The market panicked, sending the prices of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other major altcoins to their 2022 lows. Perhaps these are not the last victims we will see, as the situation is not very good for the market. general economic markets as well as crypto.
Well, this is not new but this is always the case that happens whenever there are set of negative events, it will then impact the market also in a bad way making the prices plunge. It's only sad though that these negative events come when we are still in bear and this had totally worsen the situation. I think that even the experienced ones are now starting to doubt about the credibility of the cryptocurrencies but let's just hope that they will hold on because we still believe that this poor market can recover.

The price of the sETh was still at 0.95 and I think that was still close to 1 eth so people shouldn't panic immediately as what they think can be wrong and it is already said that " 1 sETH is always 1 ETH redeemable after the proof of stake merge" and I think the merge didn't started yet?
1563  Economy / Economics / Re: From Sideways to Downhill on: June 19, 2022, 09:41:50 PM
The inflation has made the life difficult for everyone. So the life is going downhill for everyone.
Not totally for everyone because there are ultra rich people and I don't think they are affected with it. There are inflation and crypto prices are going downhill but it does not mean that we will follow it and our life will go downhill as well, that's wrong but instead this should give us a lot of motivation to stand up. People are often challenged once these negative situations come.

Are we in a "now what" situation? Or do you think this is as far down as it goes? Even the week chart looks bad for BTC. Any suggestions what to do?
A now what situation is not true for someone that is well prepared and know that these things can happen but for some that aren't they can end up thinking like that but in case they didn't know what to do, I think the best thing to do now is to continue buying or doing a dca. Hodl is also a must thing to do after that. Charts looks bad but don't despair too much as there's still a chance for the market to recover.
1564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: June 18, 2022, 06:08:22 PM
A few years ago, BBL used to be popular in India as well, but in recent times the TV viewership seems to have taken a hit. Most of the foreign players, and many of the Australian national team members avoid BBL because of the unreasonably low salary cap. BBL is relatively longer when compared to other leagues such as the PSL and the BPL and there is no logic for players to participate in this league will earning a lower salary. If they want to attract global audience, then they need to involve the star players such as Babar, Pollard and de Kock. But that is not possible with the current salary cap.
If Australian own players are not playing BBL because of low salaries then overseas star players won't come to play this league. Attitude of Aussie players with overseas players is also another reason why big players are not interested in joining BBL. Remember how Shane Warne behave with WIndies player in BBL.
There is nothing new in this we have a history that most Australian players did not like to play their domestic cricket and they prefer English domestic and now IPL because of salaries which are very low for them and for BBL their time and system is not good for many players around the globe so mostly they have players for some matches and then they prefer other leagues or their national duties. Agree with this statement as well their behavior with other players is also not acceptable mostly they are rude and their body language is also never been good which is another reason most foreign players did not like to play here.

Even the Australian cricket system is one of the best in the world and they are producing too many great players but now it is time for them to do something good in this way also because this is also very important in this game of gentlemen.
1565  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A single trading tool is not enough on: June 18, 2022, 01:46:38 PM
This is the simplest question I've gotten in trading.
In trading, understand the indicator. If all your indicator point to the same direction, then you can enter the trade. Please note, you MUST check the news update before using this indicator. A typical list of indicators and their values can be viewed on https://m.investing.com/indices/bitcoin-real-time-technical . All indicators such as MACD, WILLIAMS e.tc are there.
You have a good point, and It’s quite similar to what the OP is saying though – making sure that we are applying or making use of different indicators at the same time so that we can be very hundred percent sure that we are entering the market at the right time.

Using different indicators can be helpful for us as traders to clear every doubt that we may have. Originally, we all know that the market is volatile and risky, but that’s not to say that we should lack discipline.
1566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High odds or low odds, which do you prefer? on: June 17, 2022, 08:15:10 PM
Sports is a different matter, much harder to look at gambler wagering samples, in a lifetime a sports betting for me maybe hits thousands of bets, while dice I probably played half a billion bets lol.
Although many people think that dice is a game that doesn't make sense because it only relies on luck, I think many people also like it. Another game that may be the same is slots, so dice and slots are two popular games that are most liked by gamblers in general.

It's true that sports betting is a different matter, but it seems like it would be more realistic and fun to have a good experience in this game. The probability level in sports betting is much better in my opinion compared to slots and dice but these are my assumptions which may differ from yours.
Well, if he focused more on dice over sports betting, his number of bets will be much higher than the other one but if he focused on sports betting then, it's the one that can get a higher number of bets.

Those that think that dice game is only a game of luck are maybe not a true player of this game but avid fans knows that it can be both (a game of luck and at the same time a game of skill). In fact starts like martingale did originated on this game and there's also dice bots which you can use to create different strategies but for a slot game, I don't know but I think this is the real one that is only based on luck and this is a great source of pure entertainment.
1567  Economy / Economics / Re: World are going to WEB 5.0? What is WEB 5.0? on: June 17, 2022, 06:02:16 AM
So web 5.0 is just the same as web 3.0 with only a little difference and that is the "extra" decentralization. That may be important to those who are too conscious about their privacy but for me im already contented on what web 3 has to offer but im wondering why will they jump to web 5.0 in an instant when there is still web 4.0? Are they trying to copy the internet technology that we have now which is 5g? But even that, there's also a 4g internet before 5g came out.

Quote
On the web today, identity and personal data have become the property of third parties”.
This is the sad reality and there are reports that our identities/data's are being sold by these third-party companies but what can we do? We already agreed on their terms and conditions the moment we signed up and use on their platforms. It's also our fault anyway.
1568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's your take of NFTs? on: June 17, 2022, 05:19:56 AM
The amount of NFT projects spreading to all over the world, makes it cheaper too, which is a problem. I agree with you that there are a lot of NFT projects right now, but doesn't that poses a threat to each other? Think about it, when there is 10 million dollars to go around, if it is 10 projects then each get 1 million equally, if there are 100 then each get 100k.

Of course it is not equally distributed, btu that’s the logic, whereas we are not even investing as much as we used to, which means that NFT projects are getting even less. I do not think that it is really a big deal, I feel like it should be considered as a bad thing and not a big deal anymore.
I would guess that there will be a point where people could still come back though, and when people come back, those projects will comeback too and there will be some big ones. There was always a lot of people in the NFT market that wanted a piece of it, but none of them really mattered, even while cryptopunks got hundreds of thousands of dollars, there were projects that went for 50 dollars a piece at most, some went even lower.

I have seen ones that failed to sell for 20 bucks during ape period for example. So, when investors come back, there will be some new stuff and they will get some attention, while all the others do not get the same level of attention at the same time.
1569  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bottom For Bitcoin? on: June 17, 2022, 04:40:10 AM
What do you think will be the bottom for Bitcoin, from which it will begin to recover? Another question is whether now is the best time to invest or whether waiting for more dump is advisable.
I think I've seen someone predicted that btc can still fall under 20k. There's also one that I see where he predicts 13k is the bottom. None of them is guaranteed though because they are only just a prediction. The only thing that you can do is to trust on yourself if which do you think because in the end it was still your own money. We have hit 20k last day right?

But, now btc is spotted recovering at 21k but it does not mean that it can continue. Movements of btc is totally unpredictable. Can't say that this is the best time to invest because there might be more dumps to come but this is a good time to invest since price is cheaper than last time.  You can do dca.
1570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PoS vs PoW later this year on: June 16, 2022, 09:10:48 PM
ETH is below its 2017 ATM. And all this due to the stETH depeg. If this was a bull market it wouldn’t of been a big deal but on a weekend when liquidity is low it’s crazy how fast it has fallen.

If the stocks have a bad week, you can see it fall closer to the $1000 area. Most likely won’t be the bottom. Too much bearish news out lately and I wonder when we will get some relief. The CPI numbers certainly made things much much worse.
ETH and stETH are not linked together, dude. Only one way from ETH to 'voucher' stETH that I really don't understand why people trade their ETH for that shitty coin and the empty promise of staking. stETH can drop down to zero for all I care and ETH still stand. Maybe when people start to understand that, ETH can stop being fud by some shitcoin trying to link and peg to ETH.
For a potential to make more money? I do not know why they do it, I have zero idea why anyone would give the real thing and take the fake thing and be okay with it, hell IU do not put my money into stablecoins with the same mindset.

However, I could sort of understand how people are making a mistake with the current situation, everything is chaotic at this point and that is why they are making these radical moves so that they could protect at least a bit of their money. For me, I would only come up with "making more profit this way" as the only solution, all the others are looking like it would be a bad decision and I wouldn't really invest any other reason.
1571  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dubai: FIVE Hotels Unveils Support for Bitcoin and Ether Payments on: June 16, 2022, 08:59:08 PM
I think this is correlated with CZs decision of having their team of operations in Dubai. I've read from someone that crypto meetups are made in Dubai because it's a crypto friendly country.

And by that, CZ has made Dubai a better crypto friendly country because AFAIK, they've got a license there. For which, this is going to make most of the companies there to be easy and adoptive with crypto payments.
Not only CZ but there are other crypto personalities and companies that are also going on this country to do a business. It's not that this country is crypto friendly but because Dubai is a good place and known for businessmen to do a meeting. It has to do with the ambiance I guess? But other than Dubai, there are also other countries that are involved sometimes.

It's important that there are hotels that accepts crypto payments just in case there are business/meet ups that are going to happen again for crypto enthusiasts all over the world and it's a good thing that they only accept the main crypto which are eth and btc, not dogecoin and shib which are also being planned to be accepted on major services.
1572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japanese man gambled away a huge Covid-19 relief funds mistakenly sent to him on: June 16, 2022, 08:48:02 PM
just as the title states, a man in Japan mistakenly sent 46.3m yen to his bank account which was supposed to be shared among 436 people in their town. the article says that the man gambled away the money by withdrawing 600k yen daily for two weeks and gambles it in online casinos and when the authority finally contacted him the money has already been gambled and gone. initially the man refuse to pay back the money that was mistakenly sent to him but after some time he decided to pay it back bit by bit. the town is also suing him for this incident.
46m yen is still 346,869.90 usd if converted to dollars, the amount is kinda huge and I think it can take a long time for the guy to pay them all. It's his fault of course because he did not wonder why he received an amount like that. He instantly thinks that it was a gift from god, a blessing for his kindness (if ever he did any, lately?) but it's too late for him to know that the money is supposed to be divided for 436 people.

If there's another one to blame here that is the person that sends money on this guy. Does the guy didn't have a record that he have done something like this on the past or he is known be a gambler? For them to trust them the people's money. It's important to know those things first.
1573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Something Like This Happen To You on: June 16, 2022, 04:56:06 PM
That is so true - a desire to win is not wrong. So is lust for money.
One should not be greedy and lust for the money. Having a self control and stopping when needed is the essence of gambling. Better safe than sorry.
A lust for money is the one that is bad because when you say lust it means a strong desire and it can make you obsessed to it but it is not wrong if winning is not your main objective when gambling. Win can come the more you won't expect that it will happen and that is the best feeling because you did not force yourself too much looking for it.

The true essence of gambling is about being entertained but a self control might still be needed even if this is your only goal because having fun can also be addicted and it you continue playing, you are going to burn more money in the game. If ever you end on that situation then the only solution left is to stop it.
1574  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are trading platforms useful? on: June 16, 2022, 04:03:20 PM
If we look at trading platforms all are not useful some of them are absolutely scam but some are very unique and helpful like binance and kucoin are such a big platform, they are giving a best platform for trading as well many promotions to make some extra money along with trading. We can not trust all trading platform. Some of them is just come to scam all traders money and gone away so be an experienced trader to gain good things from these platforms.
When he says trading platforms, we can assume that he mean there is general. So, the answer would still be useful but if according to you then we need to be specific because not all of them are legit but yeah those scam platforms are not useful but they are only damaging the reputation of cryptocurrencies because when a normal people see the reports about a crypto exchange scamming millions and billions of dollars they will then think negatively and they won't have the motivation to try them. In fact it have happened many times already, I am talking about the hacks but despite of that, the adoption is still going smoothly fortunately.
1575  Economy / Economics / Re: Stable coin can solve poverty on: June 15, 2022, 08:20:07 PM
People should see the other way around and we know that Poverty is a global problem that had been tried to be resolved overall the century but still not able to solve it out thats why its irrelevant that you would really be expecting for a stable coin to solve poverty is something out of context or connection.
Its true that it could improve  the lives of some people but only to those who do know on how to play out in the market and this is something needing some effort for you to do so.
People can use stable coins for staking to earn and also stable coins can be used to prevent volatile cryptos from dumping hard. These two are the only way that I know that can help people to get out of poverty but of course they need to do it right because if not then these can also make them even more poorer.

It needs an effort to learn crypto activities or even other things which can provide you a good income but if the person is not willing to face it or they are scared then that is already their problem anymore. I guess they don't want to change their lives for the better and they are already used to the life that they have grown with.
1576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 winner - Real Madrid! on: June 15, 2022, 07:25:40 PM
Teams like Manchester City, PSG and several other clubs with the quality of players they have will definitely be favorites in the championship and that is a fact. but in this case regardless of who is the favorite in fact the champion does not know anything like this.
The star players do have a big factor that is definitely expected to win, but on the other hand there are other factors such as team strength, strategy and mentality in winning. This is also very important to support whether or not to be a champion.
The reality is that when you have a team like City, which has star players but more importantly a star manager, it is always a contender to win everything they play. Premier league? They will probably win, FA cup? They will probably win, UCL? They will probably win, whatever they do, they will probably win it. That is what I think will happen with City, Liverpool, Real and Bayern this year.

I know I said two premier league teams, but both of them are always there to win, and they can't be separated in this case. This is why I believe that there are just some teams, not many, only like maybe handful of them, which will play to win everything they play in.
1577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is million token dead? on: June 15, 2022, 02:55:38 PM
Is million token volume is accurate? I see Million token price today is 2$  and the marketcap is 2M and trading volume  of 17k in the last 24 hours.

Is very low.. Is it dead what you think?

In compassion to other coin   like Derace token has marketcap of 11M and trading volume of 2M

Million token is dead the coin of techlead?
I recheck its volume in cmc and there is a warning sign, it means it is not accurate but the other coin derace has a legit volume. Millions token ath was over 200 dollars, it was a year ago before the bear market occurs, so maybe this coin is really dead? But not totally since there are still some volumes left and a few exchanges still allows this coin for trading but for your safety you can just stay away from it if ever you are planning to invest.

You can instead go on the other coin derace as its ath is only at 8usd. That wasn't a lot and I think there is still a chance for this coin to recover together with others when the market returns to normal.
1578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you are given this opportunity to choose which one will it be on: June 14, 2022, 08:51:04 PM
f you are given the chance to only pick a wallet with 5000 pieces of Cardano or Avalanche which one will you go for and why?.
I will prefer to pick ADA, i know that if AVAX was a very solid blockchain but this doesn't meant if ADA was bad. My main concern was on the AVAX that is still have connection with the terra luna blockchain. This is giving a very bad image to the blockchain. I will prefer ADA at this moment.

AVAX may still in a good rate to buy but there are so many things that may make the buyers to think again and again. This coin is not a safe heaven for now.

Is not it better to get a coin that has no connection with a project that alreayd collapse?
Both are solid but I didn't know that one has a connection to terra. It's only a connection anyway but it does not mean that they will have the same plan. You can just ignore this fact and continue investing in avax. Avax did not show any shady acts lately, right? So, it's fall in its price can be natural only and is caused by the bear market.

The two coins are close to being a top coin but I don't consider the two as a safe haven, sorry. For me there is only one safe haven and that is bitcoin but no worries as I would still invest on the two coins here only for the sake of diversification. They are still a better pick than the coins that I don't totally know.
1579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots is More Likely to Cause Gambling Problem on: June 14, 2022, 06:28:11 PM
A question to slots players out there, have you ever felt the uncontrollable urge to gamble after exposing yourself to slots games for a long period of time?  How did you manage to keep sane after being exposed to the most addictive gambling game in the industry?
Oh wow that's a big surprise to me, had no idea slot machines where so addictive. If you had asked me before I would have said that sports betting is much more addictive. Personally I like to do both but wouldn't say that I am addicted to either one. If I had to choose between the two I would probably pick sport betting because it's more fun and also more profitable. Slot machines are very common in my country, you can see them in many bars and every time I go drinking with friends with we spend a couple of Euros on them. The thing with slots is that we never really take any profits, if we win something we just spend it on more spins. In sports betting it's different, I like to take profits and save them. The idea is to one time win the jackpot on a slot machine, whereas the winnings on sports you already know when placing the bet. In my country I see many more people outside of the sport betting places than at a slot machine.
Really? big surprise? But, I think it was a no-brainer that slots are considered to be one of the addictive gambling games because one is it was so easy to play and second is its catchy graphics and sound, third is this is classic. On most places slot machines where scattered but now it is revolutionized thanks to the internet and cryptocurrencies.

We can think that the game that we are hooked on are much more addictive than to slots because why would we become addicted to it in the first place? Not only the jackpot but it's also possible to win big on slots. That is if you bet more.
1580  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Huge Down from ATHs. what will happen the next ? on: June 14, 2022, 03:10:41 PM
Cryptocurrency is now in a big crashing. And whole crypto marketcap now under $1Trillion. What will the next? and How long do you think it will take for the market to recover?
Maybe this situation will last for a while before support returns to the crypto market.
Until then, we can use it to buy lots of potential coins that can increase again, such as bitcoin, ethereum, bnb, etc.
But make sure before we buy, we have to analyze the movement so we can buy the coin at a low price.
We don't know how long the market will take to recover and can only hope it won't be long, but that depends on how the support comes in later.
Whatever rate you’re buying from now is a low rate, the market is in bearish trend and that’s it for now. If you keep waiting for the lowest of the trend, you wouldn’t get it; what do you think it is going to be and when is that going to be? People wait for the lowest down trend and end up missing out from the market because of that. By the time you’d know it, the market has already started to go up in value. And whatever rate you buy now, just know that you will recover it in the future, as long as you invested in a good crypto asset.
