Is Ryan Fugger a family member of the Fugger dynasty  Huh The richest family that have ever lived. The name is very rare...This is really interesting.

Still waiting for the promised miracle  Roll Eyes My guess, satoshi will reveal his identity and announces that he lost the private key to his 1 mln bitcoins wallet. Then bitcoin price will go to the moon. Hodl until tomorrow!  Grin
10883  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Storing large data in blockchain on: April 15, 2015, 07:54:37 PM
Does this mean that Bitcoin is pretty vulnerable against vandalism? What happens if someone is pushing giga bytes of text into the blockchain? Does text pushing to the blockchain cost more than a normal transaction?

10884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where does ripple's market cap comes from? on: April 15, 2015, 07:50:21 PM
Hope and greed. That's the reason why 99% of all crypto coins have a too high market cap depending on their actual inner value.
10885  Economy / Economics / Re: Is deflation truly that bad for an economy? on: April 15, 2015, 07:47:13 PM
If there would be no or less debt, deflation wouldn't be a problem at all. Inflation is needed to devalue debt which is the basis to make new debt. Since today's economic growth is build on massive debt, deflation is dangerous indeed.
10886  Economy / Economics / Re: Yanis Varoufakis speaks about Bitcoin in new short-documentary on: April 15, 2015, 06:39:10 PM
Bitcoin would not be a good solution for Greece economy. Bitcoins are highly deflationary. Greece economy however needs a highly inflationary currency to get back in business again. Syriza should set up a own coin with a yearly inflation rate of 10% to 20%.
10887  Economy / Economics / Re: US Dollar collapse in 2015? (2) on: April 15, 2015, 06:33:22 PM
I just want to remember for Dollar and Euro collapse predictions for 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and now 2015. I am pretty sure the US-Dollar will survive some more decades. The Euro however will likely be buried till the end of this decade.
10888  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: REAL ways to make bitcoins without spending money on: April 15, 2015, 06:28:55 PM
I've recently mentioned my advices how to make Bitcoins easily on another newbie question. The best way is still to offer services like translations, writing wiki posts, promotion and marketing activities, programming stuff, etc. The most of those jobs are not offered on bitcointalk. You need to go to the corresponding altcoin boards where they are offered. Usually you got paid in altcoins but you can easily exchange them into Bitcoins.
10889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Qora | 100% POS | Assets | Names | Voting | Automated Transactions on: April 15, 2015, 06:24:15 PM
Just for my interest. Are there other factors except the amount of coins that you own to find a block (for instance, amount of ingoing and outgoing transactions, the time how long client is online etc)?

just to clarify, that I should buy some Qora and send it to my wallet , that will allow me to then forge?. Or should I just leave the wallet open in an attempt to generate blocks?

thanks

You also need to have Qora in the wallet, because its a proof of stake coin.  The amount of blocks you forge will be proportional to how much Qora you have.

I recommend to use the coinmarketcap.com API to extract historical data. The API is easy to use.
Take a look here http://coinmarketcap-nexuist.rhcloud.com/

Btw. I would be interested in your study results. Will you publish it for the public?

But it was the last Nxt Barbecue and the bacon writes NXT on the grill! Looks good, isn't it ?

Haha, when I looked at the picture the first time I only saw bacon. I read your post, then took another look and finally I saw the NXT lettering there Cheesy Cheesy
10894  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Umweltfreundlichste Altcoin? on: April 15, 2015, 06:09:54 PM

The point is when using faucets you earn Bitcoins. When using game sites you lose Bitcoins highly likely. That's the secret  Wink

I see a lot of people looking for faucets and other ad-click schemes for earning tiny amounts of BTC. I know there are a lot of gaming sites out there with free-rolls and such. What are the reasons that people prefer faucets and surveys over playing games? Seems like a more fun way to get one's first bitcoins. BTC

There could be sites which accept SuperNET assets. But as James already wrote it is not a coin rather a stock. There are sites like the faucet freesupernet.org where you can earn SuperNET assets.

Hi Dear JAMES :

Which sites Accept Supernet ?

thanks

Java Huh Are you sure it isn't your firewall what blocks the NEM installer? If you use Java 8 (no matter on which operating system/plattform) then there shouldn't be a problem using the installer.

Java seems to block the NEM installer. Any hints?
