61  Economy / Gambling / Re: == OFFICIAL 2014 BITCOIN GAMBLING AWARDS == Vote for your favorite website! on: December 27, 2014, 08:08:22 AM
5 days left, Directbet is still leading the board but Primedice has a great chance to beat directbet and finish in the first place...

The winner will get more traffics and players for sure

I don't think the poll has much effect on the sites at all. Even if DirectBet wins the poll, those regular players on PD will most likely just stay loyal to PD. Smiley
62  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Bitcoin Poker Site? on: December 27, 2014, 07:57:35 AM
Seals with Clubs is the best as there are always a good number of players on it at any moment.

This guy can play without blinking an eye: https://blockchain.info/address/1FeexV6bAHb8ybZjqQMjJrcCrHGW9sb6uF  Grin

The person received the bitcoin in 2011 and has never spent it. Either he has already lost the private key, or he has decided to keep his bitcoin untouched for years. In either cases, he won't gamble his bitcoin on dice sites. Grin
64  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What is the best place to buy and sell items. 2014-15 on: December 27, 2014, 07:21:06 AM
I also think Cryptothrift provides good service as well..
There are also services such as all4btc allowing you to buy things on eBay and Amazon with bitcoin.

PS. I am not connected to the sites and I am not endorsing them.
65  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Free ~0.02 BTC for 1.000 Participant !! on: December 27, 2014, 07:13:44 AM
lol hes scared
20 BTC its too muxh for giveaway without do something

yes even for those who have thousand of coins they will not do a giveaway for 20BTC nowadays

The exchange claims to have given away 10,000,000 JPY. If that is true, it would be roughly 260 btc.

Your site is fine, but I think you need to have more articles and reviews on it.
Right now, all the articles are created by you, and I think you should create a thread in "service" to hire one or two writers to help you.

I already did but right now I lost all the budget I had to funding the faucet Sad

I see. What about trying to make your faucet page anti-adblock so to increase your ad spaces views, and hopefully increase your ad revenue?

Next year July guys,  the block halves, be ready.

Are you sure its next year july? I though its 2016 july which is about 1 and half year from now.

what is the effect of that?

Miners will get just 12.5 btc + tx fee after halving, so older ASICs will not be profitable to run.
Some miners may shut down their ASICs. Those planning to buy ASICs may switch to buy bitcoin directly as well.

i received wallet backup for all my wallet created on blockchain.info to my email address. if u have this enabled u can search ur email for msg from blockchain.info hopefully it could help

Yup, you should enable the automatic backup feature or manually backup your wallet file to a USB regularly.
But don't worry, according to LOBSTER's posts he has already helped OP to solve the problem. Smiley
69  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Free Faucets with Payment proof on: December 27, 2014, 06:11:28 AM
A lot of them do pay out, but when they do it's peanut dust and very rarely worth your time.

Exactly...takes a considerably long time to collect anything of considerable worth. Say you earn 2500 stats per day (that's on a good day) for a whole year
365 x 2500. = 912500 satoshis (0.0091250BTC) just shy of around $5/$6

2500 sats/d is a good day? lol You need to update your faucets links boy..

I get easily 18-20k on faucetbox only..
+ many others so 100k is a normal day

If you use the faucets on dice sites as well, you should be able to get more than 100k satoshi a day easily on average. But still that is going to be worth just a few dozens cents.
70  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is It Safe To Transfer Wallets Through The Internet? on: December 27, 2014, 06:02:32 AM
It is safe if you encrypt your wallet file with a good password using a good encryption algorithm.

For your information, when people use the blockchain.info wallet service, their wallet files are encrypted in their browser and are then uploaded to the site server. Smiley

Hi,

i don't know what Wallet i should use for my Hot-Coins:

xapo.com

coinbase.com

Or is there a much better Online Wallet ?

For both Xapo and Coinase, you don't have the private keys and you will lose all your bitcoin in your account if the sites go belly up. It is better to use GreenAddress or Bitgo or blockchain.info.
73  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there a way to earn 50$ in a month from faucets ? on: December 27, 2014, 05:32:07 AM
I think you can earn $50 in one month if you are using faucets in gambling sites like primedice, rollin and win88 and other gambling sites with high faucets. All you need to do is select the win chance to 0.01 % you will win 9900 times the amount you gamble. In 30 days spending at least 15 hours you have a high probablity to win at least two times. Which will amount to 0.3 to 0.4 btc depending on the faucet amount.

If you have 15 hours spare time every day, you should try to get a job and should be able to get a lot more than $50 in a month...

I have used only Nitrogen for sport betting, and have no problem with it.
75  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much fund for faucet needed for 1 week ? on: December 27, 2014, 05:17:26 AM
Are faucets economic at all?
I was under the impression that ad rates have plummeted to the point that faucet campaigns are pretty much unviable now?

Not sure about those smaller and less popular faucets, but for those popular ones, they are definitely generating a nice ad revenue from traffic.
For example, freebitco.in is paying on average over 5000 satoshi every time you claim it, but the site is still able to run without problem.
76  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which Bitcoin Exchange do you use and why ? on: December 27, 2014, 05:09:56 AM
I use bitstamp since the very beginning. Though I need to submit my personal info to verify my identity, the exchange works smoothly for me.
77  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to buy Bitcoins securely with MasterCard EUR debit card? on: December 27, 2014, 05:04:56 AM
If you buy bitcoin with debit card, the fee is gonna be high because of the high risk to the seller. So I think it is better for you to make a bank transfer and buy on bitstamp or btc-e.
78  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much fund for faucet needed for 1 week ? on: December 27, 2014, 04:51:46 AM
Hi, I just want to know how much are needed to run a faucet for 1 week with average about 1000 satoshi / 1 hour

1000 satoshi an hour? That rate is a bit too high to be sustainable for a new faucet IMO, as you won't be able to sell your ad spaces at a good price in the beginning.
79  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: a newbie wants to choose a wallet on: December 27, 2014, 04:46:02 AM
A thin client like Electrum or Multibit as your hot wallet, and a paper wallet to store the majority of your bitcoin.
80  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A list of Bitcoin investment opportunities on: December 27, 2014, 04:27:06 AM
Not sure if you consider gambling an investment but you could spend a little on that and maybe make some profit.

Gambling itself is not an investment, but 'investing in house' is.

Frowned upon by many, but it can be a pretty good one, you can get a better return than providing loans on btcjam (or similar).

This thread has some nice overview:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=826466.0

Investing in house bankroll is okay but you should only invest in the sites you trust. A few sites have gone belly up in the previous months, so you need to understand the risk and don't risk more than you should.
