Hello everybody,
I have small question: When does those 2weeks when you can get 14 activity restars? Because I have 25 activity even though I registered (February 16, 2014, 06:01:07 PM) just 3 days before xD .
I thought, 2 weeks starts to count after you register. Smiley

IIRC, the period is the same for everyone (not related to your register time), and the forum use the linux time to calculator the 2 weeks (period doesn't start from Sunday/Monday, as in your calender)...

543  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you buy a GPU rig now? on: February 19, 2014, 10:23:06 AM
or is best hope and buy a asic miner?

If you are referring to those sha256 ASICs, I would suggest you not to buy them at all.
It is very hard to get your investment back with bitcoin mining now.

If you are referring to the new-coming scrypt ASICs, I guess it depends on how soon you can receive them...

If you want to post a video better have subtitles or post it in it's specific language section. (BTW I'm Chinese)
The Network is so influenced by the government and the rich that this might mean something else than good...

Agree, it would be good to have subtitles, or at least give us a brief summary...
546  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Deebpit withdrawal problem on: February 19, 2014, 10:18:26 AM
Which email did you use to contact them I have the same problem.

I guess you can send a email to pool@deepbit.net or send a PM to DeepBit (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=43544)
547  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The worst ever that could happen on: February 19, 2014, 10:15:26 AM
Well, I can't get to excited. They told me they put me in rotation to receive my coins back in June, when they make their next payout to the people that lost money. Honestly it does stink, especially since I can see they already received my coins and moved them into another account. All you guys can clearly see that.

Did anyone hear of any reports of anyone getting paid back since that nightmare? (Which BTW I did lose money when they got hacked)
I remember they implemented some kind of claims system. How did that ever work out? Anyone know? Guess I need to start searching here.

Anyways, for the record, Boussac is the one that I reached out to and the one communicating with me. He just told me he reached out to
Davout and I guess that's who will be paying me back in June. Honestly both of them are ripped to shreds in these forums so I would love to have the pleasure saying they gave me back my coins. It would certainly lend to their credibility if they pay a person back when they don't have to as it was my assholishness that made the mistake in the first place.

Well, I can't do anything other than be patient. I will certainly very happy if they come through. Just don't know why I need to wait until June but I'll wait.

soooooo... they are using your coins to pay customers who lost previous coins?
that stinks of poo.

hm....then whose coins will be used to pay OP?  Huh

Are you trying to use your GPUs to mine?
Have you used "bfgminer -S opencl:auto" as suggested in the readme?

That feature is disabled by the administration i think, because someone told me that it was the reason of forum getting hacked some time ago correct me if i'm wrong .

How can that be possible?

If you mean how the feature is disabled by theymos, yes it is possible.

If you mean how the forum was hacked with avatar, please check this thread.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=306878.0

It was initially suspected by many that the attack was done by exploiting a flaw in SMF which allows you to upload any file to the user avatars directory, and then using a misconfiguration in nginx to execute this file as a PHP script. However, this attack method seems impossible if PHP's security.limit_extensions is set.

So if it wasn't that then why haven't they reinstated them?

Probably because the new forum software is being developed, and theymos wants to focus on it...

I am thinking litecoins seems the most popular amd I right?

If you are talking about publicity and merchant acceptance, bitcoin is definitely way more popular than the other altcoins.
556  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exchange dodgecoins for litecoins on: February 18, 2014, 06:46:29 PM
Hello,

I have a gpu rig and I have one question, is it possible minning dodgecoin and change to litecoins or bitcons?, is it more useful than minning litecoin?, thanks for all.

It is possible, and you will get better result (more revenue)...

There are different ways to do it:
1. Mine at middlecoin, and you will be able to mine the most profitable scrypt coin automatically, and the pool will exchange them for bitcoin directly.
2. Mine at multipool or other pools, and you can sell your dogecoin (or other scrypt coins) for bitcoin or litecoin yourself using an altcoin exchange

Din't know about that, thank you!

You are welcome Smiley
Glad to see my post is helpful to you Smiley

I need the owner of the bit777 account not the owner of the site. :/

now owner is casinobitco few days ago the take over this from bit777
*
didn't you understood what he's saying.. i think he knowthat bit777 is not admin anymore but still there is something he want to ask him .. at least that is what i understood .

I thought the new owner should buy the bitcointalk account as well lol.
Wouldn't it be a bit strange if the bit777 forum account is still active here while the account owner has nothing to do with the site anymore?

Anyway, as faiza1990 mentioned, the account bit777 hasn't logged in for a few days already...
Good luck  Smiley
