Hi I am new to bitcoin forum. So I have a question, recently this faucet has given me 0.1156mBTC. What does that mean is it equivalent to 0.11526BTC or is it different

Thanks

The "m" is a metric prefix, which means 0.001. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metric_prefix
So, 1 mm = 0.001 m, 1 mg = 0.001 g and 1 mBTC = 0.001 BTC.

Welcome to the forum, friend Cheesy

how do i create beautiful signatures like u ? i want to write my name with my website link. and why most of u are using the same website's name in signature ? Do all of u own the site ?

They're referrals, for instance, I would like to offer you the once in a lifetime opportunity to be in on the ground floor of scrypt ASIC mining, by ordering a Titan from KNC, which should give me a small credit towards one of my own. I'd also like to draw your attention to the links located on the right and the left, offering you amazing opportunities in mining by the gigahash and currency exchange. Should there be a sudden loss of cabin pressure, oxygen masks will fall from the ceiling. In the event of a water landing hero members may be used as floatation devices, thank you for flying Bitcoin Airways.

This is a pretty good way to draw attention to your sig space. Cheesy
Btw, I remember the hashrate of a KnC Titan was 100 MH/s the day before, and it becomes 250 MH/s now. Shocked

Hello bitcointalk, i want you to check this out soon,

This same discussion was on another forum, same person raised the ques and same people have replied the same message, whats happening,

Find a diff between the following posts if you can,

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=518157.0
vs
https://bitcointa.lk/threads/zoom-hash-legit-or-scam.282671/

bitcointa.lk is not another forum lol.

Bitcointalk.org is synched in real time with Bitcointa.lk, thanks for a set of web crawlers that i wrote. By simply sending a PM to a Bitcointalk.org user, you can verify your identity and link your account with the Bitcointa.lk one. You will then be able to read the Bitcointalk community from Bitcointa.lk.
Moreover, if you decide to make the jump and install a browser extension (open source (GitHub); it's needed to bypass the same origin policy of your browser), you will be able to post on Bitcointa.lk; the extension will take care of posting the same exact message on Bitcointalk.org.

Bitcointa.lk uses a recent forum software, namely XenForo, so you will have a faster navigation experience and more features. In other words, a completely renovated forum.

I want to request my payment for 2 weeks. Thanks in advance.
You and Iram are obviously the same person, I've already paid you both for 1 week, yet you post about 2 week payment.  Undecided

Busted lol Cheesy

It looks like your job is not as easy as I thought. You need to keep track of the participants, and check their posts before payments.

489  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BlockChain.info Warning: Blockchain.com is a phishing site on: March 28, 2014, 07:27:34 PM
are you sure it is taken down.?
I can no longer see that paid phishing link when searching the word "blockchain".
So, it seems it has been taken down by google.
Now steps should be taken towards taking the website down..!

The website www.BlockChain.com is still up and I think, those who have downloaded and installed the android wallet from them are infected. Experts are requested to clarify my statement...

The site isnt up anymore?!

Looks like you guys were confused lol.  Grin

The site blockchain.com is legit, and is owned by blockchain.info.
You can find the link in the blockchain.info twitter profile. https://twitter.com/blockchain

They must have changed it very recently as they tweeted it as a scam site !!!

What was the value of 1 btc back in 2012?

It was around $5 in early 2012, and the high was around $15 in Aug 2012.

As others suggested, you should forget mining bitcoin with your GPU.
Bitcoin (SHA256 coins) mining hashrate: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison
Bitcoin mining calculator: https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/calculator

You may try to mine altcoins, but don't expect to get rich from it. Smiley

I won't store any money even on reputable sites then.

You should never store your bitcoin on an exchange/gambling site IMO.
If you don't have sole control of the private keys, you don't control the bitcoin.

If 1 BTC = 1 million USD, I would be close to a millionaire.
But I am not sure how much purchasing power will that 1 million USD be.   Smiley

It used to be on the right hand side, after your login (on the wallet home tab).

I think they just stopped the service.

I think so. Smiley
496  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Building PC for BitCoin Mining on: March 24, 2014, 12:31:35 PM
As Bonam mentioned, you are too late for CPU- or GPU-mining bitcoin.

And I am not sure if building GPU rig for scrypt coins is still a good idea now, as the scrypt asic is coming out and the hashrate looks pretty good.
