221  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 23, 2013, 02:38:58 AM
I bought maybe a week ago.  Bought for 750 per or so.  Then it fell to the 500s.  Did I care?  I only cared that I wish I could have bought more at 500, but I knew that I'm not losing money.  Get as many coins as you can while they are CHEAP!!!  2k a coin is CHEAP.  You'll be kicking yourselves in the future for not selling your house and investing your life into it Cheesy
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you plan to deal with your bitcoin in future? on: November 23, 2013, 02:24:20 AM
10M might be pushing it.  I honestly think there is no way it can reach that high.  Around 1M is probably optimistically speaking the highest it can get.

I've been know, though, on rare, occasions, to be wrong.
223  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for people to store some of the forum's money on: November 23, 2013, 02:02:53 AM
I'll hold a few hundred to a few thousand (please don't send more than 10,000 BTC) under 2 conditions:

1.  I don't have to sign anything
2.  I remain fully anonymous.

PM me if interested

225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you plan to deal with your bitcoin in future? on: November 23, 2013, 01:28:40 AM
You spend 30% on gambling?  When 1BTC becomes 1 million dollars, how will you feel about how much money you lost dicing?
226  Economy / Services / Re: Password Recovery Freelancer on: November 23, 2013, 01:04:57 AM
That's a pretty cool service... but how exactly would they go about doing it so you can't get their wallet information?  Not sure how that would work.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 194,993 BTC transaction on: November 23, 2013, 12:40:20 AM
That's just ridiculous... Numbers like these make we wonder if bitcoin will survive.. how can ANYONE have that many bitcoins o_0

If bitcoin succeeds... there will be so many billionaires made it's not even funny.
228  Other / Meta / About "activity" on: November 22, 2013, 11:28:19 PM
Sorry if this was posted somewhere else.  Can anyone explain exactly what activity means?   I can't quite find it anywhere on the forums.

Thanks,
Mat.
229  Economy / Services / Re: Will do any photoshop work on: November 22, 2013, 10:51:58 PM
I just had bitcoinpsftp do a photo edit for me (remove someone out of a photo)

He did the work quickly, professionally and I was happy to pay him for his time and efforts.

Thank you very much for the review Joe.

Here is a cut out of the work I did as reference for future jobs (didn't include the whole picture for privacy reasons):

Work consisted of removing a person from the picture, and rebuilding the window frame behind said person.
230  Economy / Services / Re: Will do any photoshop work on: November 22, 2013, 09:08:32 PM
For the first customers, I will do the work first, receive payment after.  Therefore, there would be no risk.  If customer is not satisfied, he doesn't have to pay Smiley  Once I get enough trust and good replies on the thread, I hope I can then start receiving payments first.  Until then, feel free to consider it satisfaction guaranteed, or you don't pay.
231  Economy / Services / Re: Offering coaching for online poker for beating 10cents/20 cents NLHE and lower on: November 22, 2013, 06:23:10 PM
I regularly beat NL 600 live (but that's a very easy game, doesn't translate to NL 600 online).  I'm relatively sure I can beat NL100 online, but I don't have the volume to give you an estimation of my bb/100 earnings.  That's why I'm being frank and only offering coaching up to NL25, where at I have a very large volume and am currently winning for 9bb/100.

If someone wants coaching for over 25NL, I'd recommend looking for another coach who is verified to win consistently at those stakes.  Strategy tends to change slightly depending on the limit you play at.  NL2 for example is a donkfest, and if you try to play it the same way you play NL1000, you're doing the wrong thing.

If anyone is interested, post here or pm me.

I am not a professional, I do it as a hobby for the last few years.  Sadly, most of the picturs I have done were my own, and I wish to keep them personal.  But not to worry, I have received a message from a member and will be getting feedback on his work soon.  If he allows, I will paste the picture on the thread.
233  Economy / Marketplace / Re: xxbit.com Complimentary 0.01 bitcoin on: November 22, 2013, 11:58:02 AM
Is it true that it was a scam?  If so, how where they scamming people?  Do people really give their private keys to websites?
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STOP COINVALIDATION. on: November 22, 2013, 11:41:37 AM
What is this zero coin that's being talked about?  First I ever hear of it?  What will it do to the bitcoin?  I am sort of at a loss o_0
235  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Skype account name ( bit.coin ) worth anything? on: November 22, 2013, 12:57:50 AM
You sir might have made some money here.  I'd guess there are people willing to pay premium for something like this.  Doubt it will make you rich, but I'd definitely guess people would pay a few hundred bucks for it!
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [PPC] New York Times Interview on: November 21, 2013, 11:18:58 PM
Do all these other coins make anybody else nervous?  Like if the market gets saturated by too many coins, people may lose trust in bitcoin (since a new coin with same features can pop up every 2 weeks).  Id still prefer it if no other crypto currencies existed, I think bitcoin would rise faster.
237  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 21, 2013, 10:21:29 PM
Litecoins are interesting.  Do you guys think it will ever catch up anywhere close to where bitcoin is though?  I was thinking, is it even worthwhile to mine litecoins with a normal gpu?
238  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's called a correction (waveaddict's bitcoin charting subscription thread) on: November 21, 2013, 09:55:13 PM
Here's hoping that this high beta speculative test turns us all into millionaires !!!  But it does have enough similarities to gold to be able to use it similarly in theory at least to protect from inflation and such.
239  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Long time, First time on: November 21, 2013, 08:58:32 PM
HAha, don't turn my bitcoins to gold please... they'll soon be worth much more than that.  Welcome to the forums, I'm rather new here myself.  Goldmine of information we have here!  Also some nice ways to make bitcoins!
240  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold collapsing. Bitcoin UP. on: November 21, 2013, 08:39:06 PM
Wow... to think a bitcoin could be worth so much in so little time.  Imagine the day that everyone finds out about bitcoins...  This forum might actually hold the future richest man in the world (some guy who mined 40k bitcoins back in the day and forgot about them).
