241  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BOUNTY] 0.15 BTC per transcript of LetsTalkBitcoin on: November 21, 2013, 02:57:06 PM
That's awesome.  I'll try have it done ASAP.  I've never done a transcript before, but I'll do my best.  Should turn out just fine though, don't let this post scare you Cheesy  I'll try follow the established format.
242  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow announces 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.49/Ghash on: November 21, 2013, 02:06:03 PM
Just a curiosity, but what would happen if you bought one of these machines (the top end one), and took it back to 2009 with a time machine.  How many bitcoins would it mine a day?
243  Economy / Services / Re: Looking to buy software installs on: November 21, 2013, 01:53:25 PM
Hahaha, I honestly think you are hitting up the wrong community.  Most people here are quite computer savvy and will not be installing your junk on their computers.  But hey... I  might be wrong.  Maybe they have a zombie bot army of 10k computers that they could massively install the stuff on.
244  Economy / Services / Re: Seeking translators for Hive wallet on: November 21, 2013, 01:24:07 PM
Hello.  Not sure if it has been posted, but I can do English > Spanish.  If this is of interest, please respond to this post or PM me.  Also, how much is being paid for the service (are payments in BTC?)?

Regards,
Mat.
245  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BOUNTY] 0.15 BTC per transcript of LetsTalkBitcoin on: November 21, 2013, 12:52:03 PM
If possible, please confirm that I can do episode 60, as I would like to start right away.  Would not like to finish it, only to find out that it was given to somebody else.
246  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BOUNTY] 0.15 BTC per transcript of LetsTalkBitcoin on: November 21, 2013, 12:32:53 PM

247  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Who gets the transaction fees on: November 21, 2013, 12:10:45 PM
People can be quite rude.  I am also curious as to how this works.  Where can i read up on exactly what are blocks, etc.
248  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Play a game as my referral - Earn up to 1 BTC! on: November 21, 2013, 10:36:07 AM
Ok to earn the full 1BTC, how much time exactly (without making referals or putting my own money in) will I have to dedicate to this game.  An approximation of total time and in how much time?
249  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin a Pyramid or Ponzi scheme & what are the ramifications? on: November 21, 2013, 09:34:49 AM
Curious what intrisic value these tulips had/have???
250  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin a Pyramid or Ponzi scheme & what are the ramifications? on: November 21, 2013, 09:15:32 AM
It cant possibly be a ponzi scheme because it goes against the definition.  There is nobody in charge that is payign you extra money.  It is pure supply and demand.  It could bubble like the tulip bubble, but bitcoins are very convenient, so I doubt it.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Has more of EVERYTHING.. How many bitcoins? on: November 21, 2013, 09:05:52 AM
Well, considering bitcoins are more expensive in china than any other country, there's a good chance the demand there is very large.  Who knows, could be that soon China has more BTC than any other country... What would that do to the price though?
252  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Pizza for bitcoins? on: November 21, 2013, 08:43:59 AM
Wow... so this is the legandary 10k BTC pizza.  Now if only I had a time machine.  How is this not stickied?  If it wasn't for guys like this, bitcoin would have never gotten to where it is today.  You have to spread the coins for them to gain any value, if everyone hoarded, they would go nowhere.
253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: after all BTC has been mined, what then? on: November 21, 2013, 08:35:14 AM
I sorta understand the concept of mining.  But how exactly do miners mine for transaction fees?  I don't quite understand who GETS these fees, why they get them, etc.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you plan to deal with your bitcoin in feature? on: November 21, 2013, 08:28:53 AM
It's a tough question.  I will probably sell them once they are worth millions, but only sell half of them Cheesy  Do miners still pay better than spending that same money on bitcoins though?  I don't know...
255  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we still early adopters? Or did that pass after 2010/2011? on: November 21, 2013, 08:17:57 AM
One can only hope that we are still very early.  I saw bitcoins for the first time when they were at 50 dollars each.  I wanted to invest but didn't... Now I bought my first coins a few days ago Cheesy
256  Economy / Services / Will do any photoshop work on: November 21, 2013, 08:03:50 AM
NEXT PERSON TO ASK WILL ONLY BE CHARGED BTC 0.01 (since I'm getting no clients)!

Hello Bitcointalk Community,

I am offering a photo editing service.

I will do any sort of photo editing that you need.  Do you want a photo of yourself kissing a famous person?  Do you have highschool pictures with bad acne, and want them redone with you showing clear skin?  Do you want somebody removed from a photo?  Anything that needs to be done, no matter how big or small, I should be able to do (won't accept a job where I believe I can't produce a high quality result).

PM me or respond here for information on prices.  Prices are negotiable and will depend on the size of the job.

Here is a sample of the last job/jobs I've done:

1.  Removed person from photograph and reconstructed window frame/wall.  Whole photo isn't shown for privacy reasons.

257  Economy / Services / Offering coaching for online poker for beating NL25 Hold'em and lower on: November 21, 2013, 07:56:23 AM
Only have 1 client, looking for more! Cost per hour negotiable.(paid in BTC)

About my experience:  I have played poker for a number of years as a hobby, and still do.  I take all my hobbies quite seriously and have done much study on the game of no limit holdem.  I consistently beat the lower stakes (NL25 and under) at an average rate of 9bb/100 (9 big blinds per 100 hands).

About the service:  I offer coaching via skype to get your game to a point where you can consistently make money at these stakes.  The coaching will usually be in the format of me going over hands you have played, discussing the reasons behind the plays, and working on the leaks you may have.  I do not look to teach you "my way" of playing, unless you are a complete beginner.  Instead, I believe there are many approaches to beating the game, and look to improve your personal style of play to a point where it can be profitable.  If the client chooses so, instead of working on his past hands and finding his leaks/errors, we can also work on strict poker theory instead.  Common issues like learning proper pot odds, implied odds, ICM, hand selection, knowing your opponent's range, etc. can all be covered.

I have also recently done coaching over teamviewer (basically I watch you playing online poker live, and give live commenting/coaching on your play).

I can coach for MTT's (multi table tournaments), Cash games, and Heads Up play.

Price is currently negotiable.  I am quite interested to see if there is a market for this.

Pm me or reply here.

I just had a 2 hour session,
this guy is legit Smiley

we did a ghosting type of coaching, on my demand,
basically, I played through my account, with him commenting my moves or suggesting some if I got stuck,
I have played maybe even 100k hands of micro stakes, and still I was amazed how much I was missing...
explanations of post flop moves were just the thing I need

if you are thinking about it, you really should do it,
it is beneficial to have a real time reasoning of a good player,

this will tweak your game for sure, don't be cheap to yourself,
after this first session, I decided to go for at least another 4 like this one.

As posted on the last post, here's results of 2 days of gaming (I'd estimate a total of 5 hours of play):

That's 12 buy ins of profit (was playing 0.02BTC buy ins).    1000 chips = 1BTC
258  Economy / Services / Will analyze your game (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or MMA) via video. on: November 21, 2013, 07:46:16 AM
A little about myself:  I've trained Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for 7 years.  I am a purple belt (have been one for the last 3 years).  I have competed many times and have a good competition track record.

About the service:  The service I am offering is that I will analyze your technique (footage of competition, training, anything you like basically) and give advice on what you need to work on, what mistakes you need to fix, or any doubts you may have.  Payment will vary depending on length of video, if you wish for me to make a video giving more details and explaining it visually, etc.

For anyone training MMA, I only have 1 year of boxing, so any advice I could give would be grappling based.

I know there is probably no market for it, but hey, I think it's an interesting idea.  Just another service for bitcoins Cheesy

Reply here, or PM me.

260  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: price diff in excahnges on: November 19, 2013, 03:10:05 AM
Oh now I get it...  So do you think these premium paying chinese dudes will be driving the price of bitcoin to new heights like 2k dollars in the new future?
