As ever, payment to 19duyhWV79wWnM9SQQL75zXcM7B63JvDkh please.

Also remember that 0.05 of the payment for this one is due to go to bitcoinpsftp, as per our agreement. I'd post his address, but I screwed that up last time so I'll let him sort that part out. Tongue

Well, my address was added earlier on, but to make things easier on the thread owner, my address is the following:

BTC address:  16eXGtPnRb5yHrF9Q1Vhgyd32bz1gVEYN9

This is a pretty epic service.  I wonder, will prices be going down in the very near future?
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How come there are no woman using Bitcoins? on: December 03, 2013, 02:38:03 PM
the women are smart in their own way again.

they wait until all 21 million coins have been bought by men, and once the last coin has been sold, they will riot for 'gender equality'. Women have as much right to own bitcoin as men, so half of the coins belong to women.

than, 11 million bitcoins will have to be transferred to women.

let the men invest and the women profit.

Laugh... Out... Loud...

This one was good.  Thanks for making my day.  A bit sexist, with the right pinch of prejudice.  Loved it!  Isn't OP in this case working against other women?

Ahhh, women, can't live with them, can't live without them.
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A perspective on just how rare it is to own 0.1 BTC: on: December 03, 2013, 02:36:32 PM
On the other hand, we have only ~1,150 bitcoiners, whose stash is worth more than a million USD.

New figures just came out Smiley

Wow, this number is a shocker.  I had no idea that bitcoins were THAT WELL distributed.  Id have thought maybe 20-30 bitcoin millionaires exist.  ALMOST 1K???  That's pretty huge.  How is this not making news?  Does anyone have a number of total millionaires in the world as of 2013?  Would be interesting to see what % of all the world's millionaires are bitcoin millionaires.  Might be a surprising number.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How come there are no woman using Bitcoins? on: December 03, 2013, 02:30:44 PM
OMG i feel sooooooo lonely as a 15-year-old Bitcoin girl... Sad

Haha, say it aint so.  Soon there will be 17 year old girls buying private islands while the old timers are wondering where did things go so terribly wrong!  Haha, if bitcoin is a big success, history will be a funny thing indeed, there will be a LOT of millionaires/billionaires from this.  Wonder what the future holds in store for us, it sure will be a fun ride.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin hold intrinsic value, or is it overvalued? on: December 03, 2013, 02:28:57 PM
Indeed not, by your definition. Intrinsic is defined as something 'belonging naturally to; essential'. It would be a stretch to say even gold or silver has "intrinsic" value, as for some people it's utility is not immediately recognized or inherent.

The only thing I think you could say has 'intrinsic' value is a human being. If you are going strictly by the definition. The only thing of universal intrinsic value to any human being is another human being. Unless you are a serious misanthrope.

Of course though, as you say, yes we all(here on this forum anyway) understand and agree bitcoins are valuable. But I think it is a great stretch to say it is something inherent or intrinsic in bitcoin specifically that makes it valuable.

Oh I see, so food/water/shelter doesn't have intrinsic value?  I don't think you're applying the definition properly here.  Water for example holds much higher intrinsic value for a human being, than another human being.  I'd much rather be stuck on mars with 2,000 liters of water, than be stuck with another human to talk to.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin fails for some technical reason, what will come up & take its place? on: December 03, 2013, 02:27:05 PM
That's quite an interesting question.  I think like the posted above says, it will all depend on the reason that bitcoin falls.  If it falls for some technical flaw in design, we'll see another crypto currency take it's place rather quickly (will be a war to take first place between the alt coins).  If it falls due to extreme government attacks, who knows.  All depends on reason.
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin hold intrinsic value, or is it overvalued? on: December 03, 2013, 01:29:24 PM
What I think is that it's undervalued.  Once it hits the large consumer base that it probably should hit, we'll see the price of bitcoin skyrocket.  There are more diamonds in the world than  bitcoins.  Just wait and see xD
108  Economy / Services / Re: Earn up to 0.4BTC/month just by posting! on: December 02, 2013, 08:58:01 PM
Current posts:  11

I roll on your faucet all the time!  Shame it's been down for the last 2 days.  Hope its up again soon.

EDIT:: Address for bitcoins is:    16eXGtPnRb5yHrF9Q1Vhgyd32bz1gVEYN9

So currently I have a total of 151 new posts (since the 21st of November).  I am wondering, how exactly does Stunna go through all posts of all users, to see which are valid and invalid posts?  I'd think that kind of work would take weeks, when taking into account JUST HOW MANY people are using this service.

Also, question 2:  At the end of the 17th, if we wish to go again for another month, must we write again how many posts we have, and start the process over?

Thanks.
109  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [2013-12-02]Sheep Marketplace turns out to be a scam (nearly 40K BTC!) on: December 02, 2013, 08:45:59 PM
whoa, so the admin was doxxed.. if someone else could find out his identity, i'm sure the FBI knew about him already as well.

here is his facebook https://www.facebook.com/nadsamec

this guy has a lot of money now, but he's also fucked.. so many druggies and vendors are pissed and want their damn money back. LOL do you guys see his profile pic? he's grabbing the girl's tit in the 3rd picture  Cheesy

Lol if this is for real he has troubles.

But I have a question, if you have this many coins. How do you get it changed into real (or better said approved) money?

maybe he can pay the mafia in BTC for some protection. they'd probably just kidnap and torture him for his wallet though. he is fucked, real fucked.  Cheesy

I'd think you'd first put it in a mixer and split the money up in who knows, maybe 100 different wallets.  Then you'd go on forums such as this one, looking for private buyers who want to buy large chunks of bitcoins (say 30+) at a 5% discount to Mt Gox.  You could probably turn a lot of that BTC to fiat pretty fast.
110  Economy / Services / Re: Will do any photoshop work on: December 02, 2013, 12:49:16 PM
Can you create splash art? If you can please show so examples so I can evaluate your skills.

Have never focused on it but technically know how it's done.  Do you have anything specific you would like to have made?
111  Economy / Services / Re: Looking to get staked on high stakes tournaments on Seals With Clubs (poker) on: December 02, 2013, 12:39:35 PM
Played 3 tournaments, placed in none of the three.  I have no reason to hide this though, and I believe transparency is the most important thing in a business like this.  If anyone is interested in seeing the hands I lost in, I have all the hands recorded (pm me if you would like to inquire as to how I lost).  Tournaments especially are very high variance.  While long term the money should always be very +EV (expected value) since the level of the average players on this site is quite low, short term you can go 15 tournaments without getting anything, or win 2 in a row.  On this site, since not many people register, I think I can expect an average of 33% getting into the cash or better.

So again, while I did not place in either of the 3 tournaments (0.025 buy in, 0.025 buy in, and 0.05 buy in), 3 tournaments as a sample size is negligible statistically.

Ideally I wish I placed in all three.  This kind of staking offer would generally snowball into a lot of people participating if the initial customers made money on their first tries.  Sadly did not happen this time.
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does the bible say about Bitcoin? on: December 01, 2013, 12:11:24 AM
Hahaha, I am sorry, I don't usually hate on threads, but this has to be one of the pointless threads I've ever seen.  What was going through your mind OP when you started it.  Were you just bored?  Was it divine inspiration?  Did a banker convince you that bicoins are, in the literal sense, the devil?
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hey bitcoiner, how OLD are you? on: November 30, 2013, 03:56:47 AM
I'm 25.  Wish I had bought a ton back when they were 50 (when I first considered buying).  Only reasons I didn't buy was because they were so hard to get (no real place was selling them, and most online places felt like scams).
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you trying to tell me, that I can sell Bitcoins? (Matrix) on: November 29, 2013, 10:47:45 PM
I dont think it will happen at the 10k mark.  I think the 10k mark will arrive before anyone thought it would.   Bitcoin will rise very fast, and keep rising fast imho.  We could see 10k by the end of next year.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Inflation by sleight of hand on: November 29, 2013, 01:14:24 PM
It is very simple.

What you have does not change in proportion to the total. If you have 1btc or 1.000 millibtc or 1.000.000ubtc you will ALWAYS have 1 of 21.000.000 of the total. Moving the decimal point is just that, nothing more. It affect everyone equally.

Very different is printing more money, if you have 1 dollar and the fed print some trillions of dollars, you still have just 1 dollar, but the total amount of money just increased. This means your dollar is worth much less. Now you have less of the total than before.

Another point of view: do 50.000grams weigh more than 50kilos? Or are they the same?

But I'm confused Sad   50.000 grams, or 50 kilos Sad  who in their right mind would say 50.000 doesn't way more than 50...  It's a bigger number.  Bigger means bigger.  I'm bored, ignore this post xD
116  Economy / Services / Re: Looking to get staked on high stakes tournaments on Seals With Clubs (poker) on: November 29, 2013, 01:02:13 PM
I have received 0.1 BTC from lucaspm98.  I will be playing 4x 0.025BTC buy in tournaments for him.  Results will be posted here after each tournament.
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: nio Card - The world's first Bitcoin payment smartcard on Kickstarter on: November 29, 2013, 12:51:07 PM
I'm confused.  I watched the whole video and they didn't mention bitcoin even one time.  All they talked about is how you can recover your smart phone if you've lost it.  Where is the bitcoin pitch?
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy must be going mad, he lost 4 Million Pounds worth of Bitcoins on: November 29, 2013, 12:36:55 PM
Maybe this forum should get 20 volunteers, all to start searching this dump Cheesy  Who knows, we might eventually find it, and cash in.  That wouldn't be wrong would it?
119  Economy / Services / Re: Looking to get staked on high stakes tournaments on Seals With Clubs (poker) on: November 29, 2013, 11:11:18 AM
Hey man, if you are interested I will stake you for 4 0.025 tournaments. If successful, I will stake you for the higher tournaments. I would prefer if I could livestream your screen for at least the first few tournaments (and any higher tournaments later on) so I can assess your skills for myself.

Thank you for the interest.  I have a whole separate thread for poker coaching, and if you would like to discuss certain decisions I might make, etc. that would fall into the realm of poker coaching.  But if you just want to see my play, I have no problem of recording the tournament and uploading it to a private youtube link I can give you.  Is this fine?

I'll play my best game and I believe that out of 4 tournaments, I have a decent chance of placing.  I hope I get a good return on these 4 tournaments, could really jump start this thread if you people start making money off me xD

PM me when you would like to send the 0.1BTC for the 4 tournaments.  I'll pm you my address.

Anyway, thanks for being my first client.

Best regards,
Mat.
120  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BOUNTY] 0.15 BTC per transcript of LetsTalkBitcoin on: November 29, 2013, 11:01:14 AM
Hello.  I have finished 34% of the transcript for EP 60.  I am giving the rest of the transcript to "KieranJones1".  34% of 0.15 is 0.051, and we have agreed on a 0.05BTC split for me, and a 0.1BTC for KieranJones1.

When KieranJones1 replies to this post and confirms, I will send him the 34% finished transcript.

Confirming we made the above arrangement.

I'll wait for Qwk to confirm that this is OK, though, before I begin!

I have sent the 34% complete transcript to KieranJones1.  Once it is finished, my part, the 0.05BTC should be sent to:

16eXGtPnRb5yHrF9Q1Vhgyd32bz1gVEYN9

Was a very interesting episode, even though I didn't finish the transcript, I listened to the whole thing.
