61  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Looking for investment -PocketRocketsCasino.com on: December 06, 2013, 11:04:05 PM
Also interested in minimum amount of investment, what the investor gets, etc.  This information is quite important imho.
62  Economy / Speculation / Re: This "Crash" is a good thing on: December 06, 2013, 07:42:12 PM
I bought some around 750ish per coin.  So this crash still doesn't send it under that.  But it's not a HUGE crash per say, if it dropped to 300, now that would be huge.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have over 33,000 bitcoins. on: December 06, 2013, 06:59:36 PM
Is it too late to make popcorn?  I wonder if this could possibly be true.  If it is, send me a few bitcoins, I'd love to get them!
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have over 33,000 bitcoins. on: December 06, 2013, 06:28:40 PM

65  Economy / Services / Re: draglet Bitcoin bootcamp launched - learn to trade, win real BTC (100% free) on: December 06, 2013, 05:39:19 PM
Hello,

in our FAQ the distribution is explained in detail. Yes, the first place gets  ~25% of prizepool, which currently is about those 0.28 BTC. Unfortunately we are not Bitcoin Millionaires and therefore cannot give away 20 Bitcoins Wink

But: We are thinking about increasing the prize pool in the near future, stay stuned.

I think it's a fascinating concept, and honestly 0.28 BTC is quite a nice reward for not having to pay any money, and just play a game.  Nothing wrong with it.  What keeps bugging my mind is where this game is headed (like what's the reason of it).  Are you planning on making a real bitcoin market, and are these players just stress testing the system before taking it live?  That's my first guess...
66  Economy / Services / Re: draglet Bitcoin bootcamp launched - learn to trade, win real BTC (100% free) on: December 06, 2013, 01:20:37 PM
I hope I did not overload you guys with information Smiley.

By the way: at the current user count, every user wins real Bitcoins... signing up still is very rewarding Wink

You do mean that every user wins real FRACTIONS of a bitcoin, correct?  As in, 0.28 BTC for first place?  I just want to confirm this.  Because I am much more likely to trust a site giving away 1BTC, than a site advertising to give away 20BTC for 2 months of time invested by user.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [OVER] Riddles - Second edition - Solve them and harvest the loot! on: December 05, 2013, 07:06:25 PM
I wish there were puzzles for people who were not learned about super complex puzzle solving.  But I guess making that kind of puzzle would be too easy.  Wish I was part of the niche of people that could solve this.  It looks super interesting.  Wouldn't know where to start though (probably first step is to take a programing language course)...
68  Economy / Services / Re: Will do any photoshop work on: December 05, 2013, 07:02:00 PM
can you do things like remove red eyes, fix people's hair in photos, fix lighting?  I mean I guess it's more simple stuff but would you do more than 1 photo for the .01?  thanks

Depends on how simple the stuff is.  PM me for information on what you want done, and how much you'd pay for it.  I'll pm you back.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The year of 2140. on: December 05, 2013, 03:34:56 PM
or bitcoin is long forgotten and grand children come to see their delusional grandpas in the mad asylum Cheesy

You mean youre going to live to 130?, sorry to rain on parade but everyone alive today will be long dead in 2140.

you've been to 2140 have you? Roll Eyes

You're saying it's likely that people will live to at least 130 years by 2140?

I think that there's a quite reasonable chance that in the next 50-60 years a cure for aging (or at least a method to drastically reduce the rate of aging) will have been found.  There are some very bright men working on it as we speak.
70  Economy / Services / Re: Will do any photoshop work on: December 05, 2013, 03:33:00 PM
It's only 10 dollars.  The super one time offer is still up for the next person to enlist a photo edit from me.  After that, price go up.  Come and take advantage!
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING: Ouya Now Accepts Bitcoin As Payment on: December 05, 2013, 01:59:29 PM
how come I've never heard of this gaming system?  It can't be that big of news if I haven't heard about it Cheesy  Haha, but yea, any new company that accepts bitcoins is pretty big news for the currency.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't panic, China is NOT banning bitcoin on: December 05, 2013, 11:56:08 AM
Bitcoins will recover super fast from the initial selloff.  I think people in china were mostly selling in fear that their exchange would close and they would lose all money.  Once they realise this isn't so, people will jump back in to start a buying spree, which will raise the prices higher than before.  And in the US, they just follow the chinese market... so yea.
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can the Blockchain be hacked? on: December 05, 2013, 04:08:49 AM
If you're a very good hacker ( you know, the kind that can get into the FBI in 1 minute while simultaneously receiving a blowjob), you can hack it.  But it takes very big skillz, a multi monitor computer, and a nice graphic interphase that shows you your hacking with cute animations.  But it can be done.
74  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BOUNTY] 0.15 BTC per transcript of LetsTalkBitcoin on: December 05, 2013, 03:49:56 AM
Well, I'm pretty glad mine and Kiera's transcripts got through OK.  Also glad he didn't get too angry at the mistakes I made.  I'm curious, how long is the delay for payments usually?  A day, a week, a month?  Just would like to know when approximately it will arrive.
75  Economy / Services / Re: Looking to get staked on high stakes tournaments on Seals With Clubs (poker) on: December 04, 2013, 11:47:14 PM
you are ignoring me.. what is your stars and ftp name.. let me see a sample size then i might "invest"

There's a very specific reason I didn't include my stars and ftp name.  This is because over 95% of all my volume (probably 98%+) is zoom poker.  There is no site that tracks zoom poker.  I also don't use pokertracker/holdem manager.  So doing a search on my name gives very little results of tournaments I've dabbled in for fun, etc.  Hence, if I put out my pokerstars name, I'd be giving a false image of what kind of volume/results I produce.

My winrate was calculated over a 2 month period where I played a very large volume of hands at zoom (100k+), and total profits I've made (9bb/100, including losses from rake).  This was done by tracking total wins for those 2 months, and emailing pokerstars support to tell me how many real money hands I played during those 2 months, then doing the corresponding math.
76  Economy / Services / Re: Looking to get staked on high stakes tournaments on Seals With Clubs (poker) on: December 04, 2013, 09:53:56 PM
I have a brand new investor who will be staking me for 1 BTC total (25 tournaments of 0.04BTC).  He's a long time user on this forum, so hopefully I'll make him lots of money!
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many bitcoins would you pay for the chance to meet Satoshi in person? on: December 04, 2013, 08:32:32 PM
I'd pay all I got, and sell the information to the highest bidder (his identity) MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA..Get rich quick scheme!  Seriously though, maybe 3BTC?
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Late to the party again! on: December 04, 2013, 08:06:50 PM

Please, i'll subscribe to that as well!!!!  Add me to the pm list, i'll even give % of profit for investing in your ideas.  Love this thread!
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Late to the party again! on: December 04, 2013, 08:02:41 PM
Wow.... you could be one of the richest people on earth.  If only you invested in all of this!!!  Sucks to be you.  Buy BTC now, you'll be regretting more if you don't.

As ever, payment to 19duyhWV79wWnM9SQQL75zXcM7B63JvDkh please.

Also remember that 0.05 of the payment for this one is due to go to bitcoinpsftp, as per our agreement. I'd post his address, but I screwed that up last time so I'll let him sort that part out. Tongue

Well, my address was added earlier on, but to make things easier on the thread owner, my address is the following:

BTC address:  16eXGtPnRb5yHrF9Q1Vhgyd32bz1gVEYN9
Yeah, I know, I was half-joking. Basically, last time I split an episode, I somehow screwed up the last character of Marcotheminer's address when I posted the transcript, so if Qwk/Marco hadn't noticed, those BTC would've gone to an invalid wallet. I didn't want to risk making that mistake again.

Kluge, my ego is grateful for the sentence structure comments. Cheesy I'm an English literature major (that's what you say in the US, right?), and I've always been kind of nitpicky about punctuation and grammar. For the record, your "version" of wc4482's paragraph was fine, as far as I can see.

I'm curious (since English is not my first language, and I've never transcribed anything), how good was my part of the transcription?  Did I do it right, or was it a complete pain in the ass to correct?  And was it better than the last one you had to work with (I hope so hahaha)?
