In fact, my experience of him is that he's a nice guy. The smear campaign we've all witnessed has been planned and propagated by a bunch of SDC bagholders/pumpers. The dev team is not implicated at all as far as I'm aware. Just to flesh out the claim I've just made, about three weeks ago I was notified that this smear campaign was being planned. I had access to the screenshots that were leaked a few days ago. Oddly enough they were presented back then as pastebins of IRC chat logs. Whatever these materials originally were, this smear campaign has been a long time coming and I have no reasonable doubt as to its origins. They were originally and have always been my skype conversation with Prom, that he has authenticated them with a post in here. There was no planned smear campaign, someone leaked those conversations out of the SDC dev team room without permission when we were discussing whether or not to join Blocknet. The Dev team can not control community members actions. Every coin community has its different community members. Whether it be BLOCKnet, XC, XST, SDC , BC, DRK, XMR etc. Smurf: No. Even Prometheus stated that the conversations were presented out of context in order to appear in a different light. No planned smear campaign? A dedicated website was launched for this. Furthermore I was privy to several progressive edits of conversations as the people behind this crafted the most negative presentation they could. I'm not denying you had conversations with Prom; I'm also not denying that you were caught in the middle of a horrible state of affairs. Lastly I'm not blaming the SDC dev team. As far as I know they were not involved. But there is absolutely no denying the reality of a smear campaign against Dan, XC, and the Blocknet. How were they out of context? They were in chronological order, and pertained to the relevant parts of the conversation. Now i will say that who ever posted some of the text snippets did indeed post them out of context as they had none of my side of the conversation and it missed conversation both before and after the snippets that was relevant. What dedicated website? I have not seen one. Now to play the devils advocate who's to say it wasn't launched by someone in the negative towards the shadow community just to paint us in a bad light. How can you prove who did or did not launch a website. This whole thing stinks of politics. Irrespective of anything "proof of this, proof of that" the only proof anyone should need is Proof of delivery. Let the tech of any coin speak for itself as long as its presented in a truthful manner, and if using opensource code it has the relevant copyrights of the original coders. And by god this goes for any coins community members if you have an opinion on another coin or techincal specs of a coin or a coins technology, at least back it up with proof or technical papers or find someone that knows about the tech to educate you. There are ways to ask questions and discuss technology with out coming across as trolling or fudding or whatever. |

Yes it is a plan to get BTC. They wanted the blocknet to get refunded and they will announce their fatally flawed zk-snark/zerocash big news on or near the same time. They need as much btc to flow in to dump before everyone knows about the trust issue (dev has to be trusted to destroy key that allows unlimited coin minting.) and the bload issue. SDC already has a slow network and they have to ask often for people to stake coins. Imagine what happens when thousands more use zk-snarks with it's massive bloat. Lol screeching halt to the network. Non of the zk-snark feature buyers is planning on holding coins in wallets. They plan to use the network with the anon feature. Epic Fail. This is precisely one of the most suspicious parts of this, the fact that they chose to attack the authenticity of the message rather than the truth of Prometheus's claims. This was before you released your screenshots so I expect they had no idea that this would backfire on them. It's almost as if this was agreed upon beforehand. It's clear from your logs that Prometheus was afraid you were going to leak the information. It almost looks like the lot of them had already prepared this defence after Prom started threatening you about leaking it. Unfortunately for them I don't think they realised quite how much corroborating evidenence you and others had amassed. Why don't you ask Prometheus to prove that he is part of this? I bet he can't prove shit. Any access to any github out there? I don't think so... You don;t need git access to control a coin. Problem is that you still have no EVIDENCE.
The problem is, more accurately, that there is very little evidence at all to support either side of these allegations. It's all hearsay. It's Dan's word versus Prometheus' word. At least Prometheus has some screenshots to back up that side of the story. All Dan has is a set of brief and very general denial statements on this shitty forum and a history in crypto that aligns loosely with Prometheus' story. It's a clusterfuck. And it doesn't look good for this whole scene. And I say this as someone who yesterday morning was just deflecting FUD about the XC premine having been spent. There is plenty of circumstantial evidence, plus you have to look at the way people reacted and answered certain things. Though i do know there wasn't any prom/dan connection till August. They met through Aero coin. Either way you could have cold hard facts and in controvertible proof and still people will follow others blindly. Its just the nature of humans. There is a ton of investment now in BLOCK and people trapped having bought the IPO. So of course they can't abandon it. They have to try and preserve some value.
