Noir wallet version 1.0.0.2 is out! This is a MANDATORY UPDATE. Zerocoin, Masternodes and chain issues fixed. On top the following have been implemented: - More seeds - Checkpoint block - Fix of current network and sync problems - Zerocoin button enabled from start The reason for this update is that people did not follow the given instructions for the last update, which caused chain issues. This is resolved in this version. First backup your wallet.dat and DELETE YOUR CURRENT CHAINFILES (this is MANDATORY ). There is a bootstrap available on github to speed up the sync. Very Important: Run the wallet with parameter -reindex from command line. Wallets and MASTERNODES must be UPDATED. Download here: https://github.com/noirofficial/noir/releases/hello - followed instructions, wallet quits with this: i'm using win 8.1

What is the purpose of this coin? Have you had any updates since last June? HI, I have questions about minting ZEIT coin with pc windows wallet... I send my coin to my wallet...I recive mintigcoin until 6.8.2018...the wallet is all the time on and from that day I did not recive any stake...and I do not see any coins in my wallet...I have ZERO balance...did some steal my coin or is wallet make like this that take the coin and get back.... I do not have any trasaction that leave my coin...only my deposti and 17 transaction for stake... br if you sent from an exchange, you should open a support ticket with them, if you did not recieve your coins (confirmed) or, you can also try typing on the CLI of the wallet you sent from: checkwallet [Enter] then, if other than "true" type in repairwallet [Enter]

This coin takes 29 Min + to load the block index. Only to load not to download. It takes 3 days to download the blockchain. this is too much time that need to be considered.
3 days is not a long time for a 5 yo bc to dL. some chains take weeks

I keep getting this error when trying to open the windows wallet:
"Runtime Error!" This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more information.
Can anyone help me with this?
sometimes a sudden shutdown or something can corrupt things. you can try a backup copy of the wallet.dat, or if that fails try deleting all the BC files, and resync if you don't have a backup, make one, put it in a folder somewhere ... then, if nothing else works, rename the wallet.dat to wallet.dat-0 (or, something ) then start the wallet, it will make a new wallet.dat and should go ... you can try replacing the new wallet with the old, after its up to date

hello - is there a bootstrap for the classic chain? my wallet is stuck (for many weeks) on blk #2429859, about 14 weeks ago There is not a recent bootstrap available. That is one of the major reason we launched the new chain because the chain took so long to sync. If you had synced it that far with the old wallet v7.1, you will have to resync the wallet using v8.1 Just let me know if you have any more questions yes, i'm using v.7.1, where can i find v.8.1? thanks Yea, you definitely need 8.1 or the wallet will not sync all the way! You can visit this page for information regarding the first chain https://www.popularcoin.com/popular/bitcoin/popcoin-first-version-1-0-old-chain-information allright - thanks for the help - got all my POPs updated & swapped

I see that what a nice move on Novaexchange
Not an active exchange at the moment for all cryptos https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/novaexchange
I wonder if it works good. Does anyone have an experience with Nova? Can someone confirm it works? i have an account there, traded there for about a year without any trouble until a recent change of ownership, now ...Honored US citizen Dear customer, You are one of tens of thousands that just recently approved the new Terms & Conditions of Nova Exchange.
Unfortunately we have bad news. Your assets are perfectly safe and can be withdrawn, but, we cannot provide service to you on the exchange.
This is because you are a citizen, or a resident, (or both) of the United States.
At this time we cannot accept trading by customers from the United States. This is very unfortunate, and we appreciate your business, but rules and regulations are such that we have to make this move at this time. thanks so much my lovely government for keeping me safe

Bonus question: Does there NEED to be a node (I suppose a server online 24/7) or are at least two wallets that are running at the same time everything required? yeah good question! it might be a good idea to forward a port to allow incoming connections, not sure which one grain uses by default ... - forwarded port 11054, anyone can do the same

Add 119.9.108.125 as a node.
How do I add a node? There is no addnode command in the console. If as a text file, what do I need to put into it, where do I need to put it, and how do I need to name it? try addnode ip:port add in the CLI (type addnode 119.9.108.125 add, the "port" entry is optional ) i wasn't sure if the .conf should be grain.conf or graincoin.conf, so i made both like: addnode=119.9.108.125 the .conf goes into the data directory i think you can type in help to get a list of commands @CLI Quote from: Chicago
...
Add 119.9.108.125 as a node. I did and now we're a network

Hello, team! An interesting idea, just wonder how do you differentiate from other existing payment systems and how would you ensure that there will be a big enough adoption of your system in order to make it sustainable in the long run?
well, once we had some good devs, who put all they had into Zoin ... but then they found that our platform wouldn't support their dreams, ... so they created "Nix" ... ... and 2 Nix would be given to all Zoin holders for each Zoin they held - But they (the devs) were greedy and stole somehow appropriated as many Nix as they could (by (any and all means available) the virtue of being "the devs") ... to their very selves. then appointed/allowed voting for a new dev team (brfore they dissapeared) ... that (as it turns out) is divided and self-opposed (IMO, because, on purpose, to derail any competition) (read back a few pages if you don't understand, be careful about the details) EACH CLAIMING AUTHORITY it is up to the community to sort it !!! our code is good the way it is, but can always seek improvement who is it submitting proposals? think v e r y carefully about it! this is situation critical, right now, peeps ** note, "newbies" above and below ** lol let the FUD fly; ... aaaaaannd lets sort it
|
|
|
ha i don't think so FUD from all corners as divergent devs compete for our attention keep with the code peeps; we have a solid foundation HODL and be critical: we need to BOOT some would-be("(dev)"s) t f outa here, now no space here for greedy bad will time will prevail goodwill; give it some space coda: we don't get FORKED AGAIN
