1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DigitalNote [XDN] - private money and info transfers, blockchain deposits on: June 28, 2015, 02:01:27 AM

Did bittrex steal my XDN? It says disabled and removed.

Has anyone had luck getting coins from bittrex after they do their delisting scam?

yes i did. they announced it 2 weeks long.

It looks like bittrex isn't going to give me my coins. This seems illegal. You can't just take my coins. You have to give them back to me.

for what it's worth - i agree with you. wallet.dat takes little enough computer resources. some geek could prolly write a script that spits one out for each who wasn't able to be at their counter every day, they should have to store them for seven years ...

-but in point of law, see first what you agreed to in the EULA    Huh

How many Noble do you need nowadays for Minting? I have Network Weight of 2 with 5.5 million coins in wallet. Is there something wrong?
Since over one month no Stake... where should there be the interest of 8% a year?

it's a POS-II crap, send all your coins to yourself, it'll start to grow as crazy

There is a bug that at a certain point your coins loss weight so you need to resend you coins back to yourself and they will stake and then some will start to get too old and that bug will not let their stake be added to your weight.

it's not a bug, read here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=402667.msg11412778#msg11412778

is it really working right? i've no interest in sending/recv for staking, ain't got time for that. i did that once some weeks ago, (just (some weeks) after the swap) and after some weeks i finally got my first stake, (couple of days ago) and now it says some weeks to the next big event, lol ... you're right i don't have a huge pile but over 1/4 m, wtf

... on the other hand, if it is doing what it is supposed to, low inflation is a good thing    Wink

I do not understand why not work to me. I downloaded the next in Ubuntu:

 https://github.com/aurovine/AudioCoinWallets/blob/master/Audiocoin-QT-Ubuntu.zip

Then, I open the zip and extract the 'Audiocoin-qt-ubuntu' file. How can I execute the wallet with this file? This is it that not work me.

Thanks.

i'm kinda rusty 'cause i can't install linux on my new mobo, but have you tried sh Audiocoin-qt-ubuntu?

Ok, thank, I did tried sh Audiocoin-qt-ubuntu and the shell told me:

Audiocoin-qt-ubuntu: 2: Audiocoin-qt-ubuntu: Syntax error: ")" unexpected

  typo?

Huh
Sorry I am not know it that you told

hopefully, someone with more linux experience can help, but for what it's worth, the response you had from the terminal:

Quote
Audiocoin-qt-ubuntu: 2: Audiocoin-qt-ubuntu: Syntax error: ")" unexpected

would indicate that a ")" was in the comandline that preceded the result, but shouldn't have been there

maybe try again and post the output here?

Hello

I need some help setting up a solo minor, what I have is:

      Raspberry pi under Zeusminer Controller
      GAW Miners Fury

So if anyone know how let me know

      Thank you

       kprell40

i can't be of any help with the hardware you're using, (looks like nice setup tho Smiley, but as someone informed me, when you're setting up the cli be sure to use a long, complex password, or it won't connect/hash
also, if you end up finding a lot of blocks, you'll prolly want to recombine them with coin control, which will allow you to send larger amounts with a low or zero fee.
 good luck!   Smiley
1118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [VNL] Vanillacoin 0.2.8 | WPX | ECC | O(1) routing | Miner/CoinPP | Fast TXs on: June 15, 2015, 08:25:49 PM
My only point was that the only place true proof can lay is in examining that code.  Any human language description of the blockchain's operation is by nature going to be a simplification or abstraction of what the code actually contains.

I disagree. Implementation of the design can suffer from bugs, only the design holds the true proof. If this remains in the author's head, then any claims about robustness or performance will remain just that, claims.

Man, you have every right to dissagree but that doesent mean that you are right.
VNL as working project is a proof and not a claim, you can test performance and robustness by yourself and let us know if something not working as it should and lot of us are doing that for quite some time.
IMHO John made everything available and code is proof, if I can't understand it than it's my problem.
I would rather have working project with short white paper giving basic informations and roadmap for further developmet than white paper on few 100 pages whithout proper implementation and with detailed explanation what could be exploited.
With more than 6 months with VNL I can say that only constant with VNL is fast development and as far as I can see that will remain the same and that is what makes difference to almost all altcoins based on old copy/paste code with some tweeks and new gimmicks.
I know that all this is frustrating to many developers and teams but... you can still buy some VNL while is cheap and you'll be able to mine it again soon, so...
... I think you should try to produce double spend transaction and test VNL on all things you are concerned about and let us know what have you achieved.
Until than, thank you for your concerns.

am just putting this here

https://github.com/john-connor/darkpp

 Smiley

I'm very interested how the public reacts to this development, John is building a whole crypto 2.0 ecosystem for VNL.

Same here...I was watching a conversation yesterday on Polo where someone was being more or less rebutted about VNL because VNL wasn't a 2.0 project.

This is certainly an interesting development...

Amazing stuf. proud to be a supporter of this
