just downloaded the windows wallet and get an error prompt after starting  someone know what's wrong? crash-on-start is frequently seen in btc clone QTs, a restart most likely will fix it, unless some files are corrupted, you can also try replacing the wallet.dat with a backup (make a copy first! (or put it somewhere safe) or delete any BC related files and resync if restart fails |

I just downloaded the windows wallet.
ZERO connexions to the network after 5 min....
I created a .conf fine and putted the nodes provided in the head message of the thread
still ZERO connexions....
Could someone help me understand what should be done (which is not required
usually with other wallets)?

look in the post just above yours; click the link to blockexperts.com. click on the 'peers' tab at the top of the page, then add the IPs to your .conf, preferably, at the top of the list, or replace those not working ... then, restart your client. good luck! |

Well I got bad experiences. Sent 55k siacoin from poloniex to unlock hosting features. I checked the transaction in the blockchain and found that the input and output was complete. I mean sia recieved the coin and sent to my wallet. The problem is I HAVE NO BALANCE in my wallet  . So I wrote on their forum they answered that the poloniex can have trouble with withdrawals.... but the transfer happened... The address was correct. What can be the problem? i think that if you wait a while, you will see your sia |

imo j-c wants to market a finished product that may take the world's attention and focus it on a reasonable replacement for BTC
sensible outlook in imo, why bring half-finished half-started crap to market, just because everyone else in crypto (except one or two) is doing exactly that for a quick but short $buck$
john has shit on my efforts too (worked hard to get vnl on accepted cryptopia) but i won't take that personally, he wants what will fit in with his outlook, and why not? it is his (and our, lol) baby

I think all that needs to be done is pick the best scrypt PoW + PoS blockchain code and then switch some variables. Then add in a new checkpoint as well.

It would be better to get some staking support to prevent any 51% attacks or double spends.
