Ok so what happend is I posted the link for Mega, but a newbie account quoted me, and only changed the mega link to an infected version. So NEVER download from someone elses link. I think we should all know that by now, but some did. Ive deleted the bad links. (With graphics in transaction box that clearly show when you hit a superblock): Added withdrawal exemptions for : Gregofdoom,Galactric Pilgrim, Pokeytex (New address), and George G. Coded base for future update to include withdrawal exemptions as well as compatibility with new website. (Approx 2 weeks away). Note to new exempted addresses:: Do NOT attempt any transactions of any kind until block 58,000 or it will be rejected. This only applies to the names above. Everything else remains the same. Stake min 7 days, and 10% stake fee on all stakes. These statistics will change in the next update. Ive already submitted the new wallet to Hex @ Cryptopia, but he is working alone, so lets be patient. Please install and unlock asap to stabilize the network. You are missing that the webwallet for decred is a hybrid and more likely a web client than a web wallet. With the seed you can restore anytime your wallet because it is not stored online. @decred I am proposing to rename webwallet to DCR WebClient as the actual name is leading to a lot of misunderstandings
This has been raised elsewhere as well and should receive attention. The web wallet is a client that runs in your browser. The name can indeed cause confusion thinking the wallet is somehow stored server-side (which is incorrect), so this is a good point to address. Hi decred dev...yes....and I have my coins on the pool....but if I were to use a web client where do the coins go..they wouldn't be on the pool..and some say their not on the web client.. so a GUI wallet is needed badly. Mate this was said gazillion times already. The coins will be stored in a wallet that is located in your browsers cookies. You can restore that wallet anytime using the seed to a future gui wallet or current cli wallet or another web wallet and again: the coins always reside on the blockchain, so indeed, they're on everybody's computer, and only you can access them with your keys. =s keep your seed safe |

My plan has been all along is to shape this coin into a long term "hold coin" well then that is a good thing, it is all good  i've sent only 4 fly to 'topia, and they're still hanging there on the sell side, while i've picked up 1 fly, which i take from to balance my buys, i just always buy more than i sell. it will build up a lot slower without more sell support, but i can still make that work for me

your old peers file would have the peers you were connected to last time you ran the client. i can dig mine out for you if you like, had THC running just a couple of weeks ago, ... it may or may not work though.
also did you replace the .conf? not sure if thc has a default one, sometimes you have to make it. you can list nodes there

So this weekend , will be very big for FLY. We should have a new wallet that exempts all from withdrawal fees. Also I have removed the "stake to self" fee, and changed " stake to exchange fee to 20% that goes to Superfly. I will also give details and the address of our website that only accepts FLY as payment. The website is in beta format, but it will give you a very good idea what we are doing. So good things are coming.
Vegas would be nice if peeps w/out a lot of capital could daytrade. it takes fly to make fly, a graduated scale tx tax on the stakes would help alot! if you made your chunks small the stakes would be tiny, small tx tax but exelent network support. |
