well i made a few back around xmas - funded and then checked, (BEx) and later stuffed stockings  all worked perfectly as far as i went. i think the biggest challenge is making sure the script stays dry and the ink don't smudge  |

More Staking Questions
Ok, so I read on official forum a response that seemed to imply staking could happen anytime between 8 hours and 365 days. So I get that it is a random event somewhere in that time-frame.
Now my question relates to how long do I need to keep my wallet open. I realize no staking will occur if I do not have the wallet open, but say I close it and don't open it for a month, or a year. Will it then have the same chance of staking? So hypothetically, say I don't open my wallet for 365 days, according to my interpretation of that the post I would be guaranteed it to have it stake at that point?
I guess I am just trying to understand if there are any negatives to not keeping the wallet open 24/7.

You won't gain netweight if you keep your wallet closed. that's exactly 100% wrong sir! min stake age = 8 hrs means you have zero stakeweight for the first 1/3 day the coin is in it's new address max = 365 days means that after being in that same addy for a year they are at max weight coins gather age/weight as long as they are not moved to another addy, which resets the timer, wether wallet is on or offline, so, keeping it online 24/7/365 is best, that way your stake income will compound. but it will work fine if you only bring it online once a year too, just you'll make a little less stake. @ Za1n - if you want to learn more about PoS check out the HBN thread and their wiki |

Click OK what confirmations should i select.They all are high? it's best to sortem just after/during a staking session. every 12 hrs or so visit coin control to find skinny coins |

Check point warning is longstanding annoyance, but doesn't seem to interfere with functionality. Version 1.5.2 is not syncing for me too, the older QT is.
i'm trying the 1.5.2 ver also - up to yesterday 5:pm blk # 337907 sf ... can you share you conf? peer?
