No it hasn't. CHOW CHOW I want my money! He didn't accept your terms, you can't just decide on the terms unilaterally and then expect to be paid. By the way the price did go over $300 shortly depending on which exchange or which average you look at. Shut up fool, it was clearly stated that the price is the price on coinmarketcap. And the $300 wasn't reached on coinmarketcap. He stated that the price will be and STAY at $300 by friday. And I can decide what I want and I want my money - CHOW CHOW! Stop being such a retard. Show me where in this thread Chow Chow agreed to your terms and confirmed the bet with you? He also clearly stated that the price would go over $300 before Friday, that doesn't mean the price had to still be over 300 on Friday. You can decide what you want but not what you deserve, and you deserve nothing. This clown is sockpuppet account of CHOW CHOW. CHOW CHOW the biatch owes me 1 BTC and I want it now! He agreed to terms of bet because he did not reply in this thread. EDIT: The price of $300 was never reached by today 12:00am on coinmarketcap - so shut your trap and give me my 1 BTC! Did he confirm the bet by PM, or have you just decided that the bet was taken under your terms so you owed money? Your arguement is even stupider it can be argued that you lost! He wanted to bet that it would bo above $300 before friday. It was at one time over $300. You should pay him his 1BTC. I agree, Chow won the bet pay up.

Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's biggest problem

Wouldn't Gox and Stamp be the most likely teams that would effectively be able to protect their coins?
If they can't do it, how can I, or my neighbor, or my parents?
One day I know I will wake up and my coins will be gone, just waiting for it to happen.
Bitcoin has to solve this, it has been 6 years. I think trust-less is a failed pipe dream, when it comes to protecting assets trusting ourselves appears to be a complete disaster.
Offline storage.... fixes all problems, only use it online when needed, and then back into coldc storage, never any problems Except for the pita of having to keep shuffling them around and the unlikelyhood that the masses would ever want to learn how or do that.

No one is in panic mate At least I'am not . people should understand that "it's not all about the money" I've already made my money. Early adopters are not panicking & never will because they have experience with BTC world already made a shitload of money off the poor saps buying over the last year and are playing with profit coins, on the other side new adopters all they care about is becoming a "millionaire" and rich as soon as possible while they don't know that BTC is along term investement are just the suckers. ftfy

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I Am Getting Out of Bitcoin

I feel Bitcoin is taking a big hit and people are getting bored with it. Mining is not profitable what so ever, people keep selling out, it seems the Rise and Rise of Bitcoin is turning into the Fall and Fall of Bitcoin. I am getting completely out of Bitcoin and transitioning to something more promising for the future. Some alternatives that have caught my attention are: Ripple & Stellar.
Whats your guys opinion about Bitcoin? Are you guys getting out and transitioning also? What other currencies are you looking into?
I want you to take a look at the mkt cap of Ripple and stellar http://coinmarketcap.com/What do they both have in common? they are both tanking with btc. If btc fails they all fail.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does price fall when I buy and it rises after I sell?
|

It's not luck. Look at the chart of a coin you are considering. If there is a period of time where the price is stable and very low that you missed out on, stay the fuck away. Chances are excellent you will end up giving these early buyers profits and yourself losses. Sometimes, not very often you buy into a pump and it turns out good - but the chances of that happening pretty much suck, so fuck all of them. Now, spend your time looking to get in at that low level BEFORE the pump.

You bought/mined all your coins in the $2 range and you are already up how many tens (or hundreds) of thousands of dollars? This is about the least stressful question I've ever read on this forum, who the fuck cares if you hold or dump? you are already a huge winner - good for you.
Selling and making 100,000$ is not the same as selling and making 1,000,000$ or 10,000,000$. It matters a lot for him. Sorry all those who bought over $500 this year aren't tripping over themselves to help this poor guy with this tough decision.
