Anyone want to sell some GeoCoin, please pm?

I also want to buy but offers are not cheap. Will anyone sell under 0.0001? PM me please

You need to rent some hash and find out mining costs. 10k sats offer is a joke.

The developer could have easily turned the front page into a very profitable ico if he wanted to scam and run. So far he hasn't made any money, I doubt he's disappeared.
1283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Weed Tokens MySweetyWeed - Weed Social Network with cash earning! LAUNCHED on: January 21, 2015, 03:45:26 AM
Ok, this is one of the most amusing threads I've read in a long time, I mined a few just to have a reason to keep following. The dev is either for real or a complete phony, either way he's hilarious.

I see stability fund, marketplace, assets, a whole lotta blah blah blah, a buzzword filled roadmap, and a couple of kids who look like they sprouted their first pubes last week.

Are these high school yearbook photos?
Seriously, next time be anonymous, less is more around here.
1285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Using 7950 gpu screen keeps going black on: January 19, 2015, 04:30:21 PM
I'm using my 52" Sony Bravia with a 30' hdmi cable, wireless keyboard/mouse. I've also tried bringing the computer in the living room and using a 6' hdmi cable with no change. I've never had an issue with my dvd or satellite receiver using hdmi.

Sometimes when I go to a site with bright solid colors it will start blinking on and off right away, causing a need to reboot then it's fine. Before Mint went down it often seemed to start the moment I logged in - might have been all the bright green. Bittrex seems to get it going too sometimes.
Any ideas of settings I should look at?

Have you tried another graphical card?

Yes, all the things I've tried are in my op.
Anyone?
1286  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is so so dead... on: January 19, 2015, 04:31:34 AM
Gee, you out for 5 years and after you wake up, first thing you ask about bitcoin. Should you ask about your love ones, even who is the president?
My point is, because you ask about bitcoin first thing, bitcoin is not dead.

Please tell me you were kidding with this post....
1287  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC holders are like that story of the boiling frog on: January 19, 2015, 03:44:21 AM
... I mean, if BTC is going to fail and you know this, why not use your time for other ventures?

Because with all the cultists around, shorting BTC is the most profitable thing ever?

NotLambchop, I just browsed your posts from the beginning, and it seems you are a fudder with an agenda. Why would you waste your time with a project you don't believe in for 6 months?
WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU? (aside from an asshole)
1288  Economy / Speculation / Re: BECOME A MILLIONAIRE OPEN PROJECT: Turn 100$ into a true life. on: January 18, 2015, 11:02:14 PM
Btc price hit $152 on Stamp just a few days ago, wtf didn't you buy your $100 worth then? you do realize if btc crashes hard, trading alts won't be very profitable right?
Stop standing around with your dick in your hand, buy some btc and go to work!
1289  Economy / Speculation / Re: BECOME A MILLIONAIRE OPEN PROJECT: Turn 100$ into a true life. on: January 18, 2015, 08:49:29 PM
Why are you wasting time trying to save a few bucks on your btc? this makes no sense, but whatever. Anyway, each day you wait the price could easily go higher, so this waiting is just stupid.
You don't have any experience trading that's pretty clear. Let me clarify - once you find a coin you think will go up, you need to buy or mine coins early and cheap. The amount of coins you can collect vs total coins gives you a % of that coin, but the problem is sometimes you can't attain that many- price shoots up fast if you try.
Let me elaborate on one more thing, these pump groups that you think you can so easily hitch onto are not your friends. They are very experienced and are very good at getting your btc, not letting you take their profits.
I wish you luck, cause if you are for real and not some troll you are definately going to need it.

Best thing to do is just start a business project which has little outlay, $100 doesnt really do anything, you cant turn $100 into something much as your energy used on it is probably worth more.

A really lucky/skilled trader could have turned .5 btc into a fortune a year ago through this fall. There have been several single coins that could have turned that into 50+ btc in under 10 days, and dozens upon dozens of 10x+ coins. That's just buying at the beginning and selling near the top, without any trading any of the waves of these coins. Not easy, but the opportunities have been amazing.
I don't know about now, things have been very quiet lately. If btc picks up again I'm sure the alt scams will too.

Msi 970a-g43 mb, 8gb ram, 120gb hd, Windows 7.
I haven't mined with it since I sold the other gpus, just used it for surfing basically.
1293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Using 7950 gpu screen keeps going black on: January 18, 2015, 12:15:42 PM
I decided to turn one of my mining rigs into my main computer several months ago and have had a problem with the screen going black for an instant then coming right back ever since. Things I have tried:
Used driver sweeper and re-run the driver I don't know, maybe half a dozen times?
Tried another pcie port
Tried another 7950 gpu
Tried different browsers
Tried lots of different memory and core clock settings

Nothing changes it. It will be fine for a couple days, then all of a sudden the screen will go black, come back, and it will repeat over and over until I reboot and it will be fine for a couple days again.
Does anyone have any idea wtf is causing this? any ideas greatly appreciated.
1294  Economy / Speculation / Re: BECOME A MILLIONAIRE OPEN PROJECT: Turn 100$ into a true life. on: January 18, 2015, 11:36:07 AM
First of all, why are you wasting time waiting for a good price on btc? buy half a btc right now and start trading alts. If you played it right you could be up to 5 btc right now since your first post, check Bittrex over the last few days.
Second of all, you can't just double your investment with each trade, it doesn't work that way. Most alts won't have the volume you will need after a few doubles, so stop right there thinking this ridiculous strategy would work. Some alts you can get 10x some you will lose on, you need to play each coin as it comes and have a solid strategy or you will fail.
Third of all, playing alts is not the least bit easy unless you are the one pumping the coin, and that's because you are the only one with control and any knowledge of what is going to happen. If you are to succeed you will spend nearly all your time looking for a buy opportunity and very little time actually trading. It's a grind.
Stop fuckin' around, buy your btc and give it a shot. With no experience I can almost guarantee a fail here, but I'm interested in your results.

"The process will be very simple: I'm going to double my investiment 14 times in a row, reinvesting it every time. Mathematics are clear: 2^14=16384   16384 is a sufficient multiplier, or not?"

Rotsa ruck.
1295  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to say goodbye on: January 18, 2015, 05:29:21 AM
I've gotten so much entertainment and education from following btc and this forum I would never "say goodbye." I wasn't an early adopter and I haven't gotten rich, but man has this been interesting.
1296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The cryptocurrency short list on: January 18, 2015, 04:02:30 AM
The future of all these altcoins is in the hands of the king, if it falls it's over. Btc brought all of them into the world, and it will take them all with it.
1297  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let’s All Admit that the Bitcoin Price Bubble Has Popped on: January 18, 2015, 01:43:42 AM
The only point of this is to plug his exchange where you could have 10-fold leverage which is equal to financial suicide.
Here is my analysis:
Bitcoin will either be worth a lot of money in 10 years or it will be worth close to nothing. Choose your scenario.
EVERYTHING is pump and dump: dollar, euro, gold, silver, stocks, bonds, currencies, real estate.
Oil dump, euro dump and dollar rise are the examples.
Conclusion: choose your "speculative" poison, but never tell me that your choice is rational while another person's is not.

Not everything is pump and dump. All those examples you give are boom and bust, cycles that repeat over and over. Examples of pump and dump are the dot com and the tulip craze. Which is bitcoin - boom/bust or pump/dump?

Troll. Pretty much all newbie posts here are trolls trying to get a rise out of those gullible enough to think what they are reading is for real.
1299  Economy / Speculation / Re: Taking a loan to buy bitcoin on: January 16, 2015, 06:57:00 PM

We're smart in retrospect, aren't we? Do you seriously think that there will ever be low risk high reward situations? If you're not willing to take risks you will never succeed. NEVER! My advice is always to take risks. Obviously it means that you will fail a lot but trivial probability theory and mathematical statistics say that if you get up and keep going after every setback then you will eventually succeed. Or, you will never succeed because you are motivated by the wrong reasons Smiley

I was totally new to this in November with zero trading experience, and even I knew not to touch btc at this point. Hopefully this guy didn't take your hideous advice to take a loan out at $1k+.

do it!

Worst. Advice. Ever.
