id like to ask people to contact bittrex/tweet them about adding quarkbar.
the more tweets/reactions the higher on the list qb will get, it seems like almost nobody has asked bittrex about quarkbar unfortunately.. they have added several new coins that just launched (although sure some probably have paid for it, im positive some haven't =))

issues passing block 20,000 while downloading the blockchain... does it normally hang up here?
Devs... any clue? I deleted everything except the wallet.dat and tried again... maybe I should try a third time. Currently appears to be stuck at Block 20500 >> any chance we could get a zip with the up-to-date blockchain? tried -rescan? if so try deleting everything (in roaming\litecoinplus) again, backup your wallet in another dir or temporarily rename it, and let the qt generate a new wallet.dat as well. see if that'll get you past 20500. |

great work oc, can;t wait for more info on masternodes. This coin can have so much amazing growth in the coming months..the potential if everything can go according to plan is unreal.. dare i say top10 coinmarketcap..  edit; logo resize and removing the black square around the logo in qt 1.04?  |

Regarding PoS...I'm not a fan of it
Jonesd said something similar... Just out of interest Jonesd and Obfuscode, in your professional opinions what feature would you suggest for the coin at this stage? We're basically looking for a way to have the network continue to support transactions once all coins are mined. POS is a way to do this, but it stimulates people to not spend their coins. Proof of Take (POT) I personally was thinking of doing the opposite of POS, where coins deteriorate over time if they are stored and not used. Part of the stored unused coins will be redistributed over the miners in this case. When a wallet has been offline for a long time and comes online again it can be punished with a certain deterioration of funds (1% / week up to maximum of 10% or something). In this scenario, people can also prevent deterioration by synching the wallet at least once a week. This has the following benefits: - Transactions can be free: This would make it possible to replace the fee on transactions with a fee on keeping the coins offline. - Decrease only for not-contributing part: Active people are in the clear, but stored funds will decrease over time. - No inflation: The coins get redistributed, but the total amount does not have to increase. I would be more motivated to be part of the network in such a case! Probably a lot of things to say against it, but idea is still in early stage. I like thinking out of the box. However I do not like this idea. I think it would crash the price. I know I for one would dump all of my coins if this was implemented. Not using that as a threat just saying what I would do so I am guessing there will at least be a portion that does the same. I agree, I like the innovative train of thoughts though, but i'd get out as well. |

after having spoken with original dev and to intothelite, I have to say they speak and act like totally different people.. We will have to see some results/plans/features/etc, but I am not under the impression that intothelite is the same person as original dev. For me its a big improvement to have someone willing to keep the community up to date and supposedly has the needed skills for the job. Everything that was discussed seemed transparent and sincere, although words might not mean much at the moment, I do think we will see some action.. But from what i gather so far, this dev seems to have the intention to take us to the next level, time will tell |

As i have noticed some people are questioning the direction of this coin and to set things straight. I have been brought on as a developer to ensure that this coin meets the expectations of all coin holders. some of my short term goals for this coin are to establish a team that will be able to assist in promoting the coin through various social media outlets, Facebook, reddit, twitter, i.e. I plan on building a legitimate website for the coin along with an official forum. The team will help with securing our spot on various other exchanges in order to increase exposure of the coin and get it out to the whole crypto community. We are looking to set up an official multipool so people can not only mine XLC but also know that there is a compounding effect taking place which will increase buy pressure on the coin to stabilize and ensure the coins value. some of you may ask who is this guy where did he come from well rest assured. I have my MBA and I currently work at an AMlaw 200 law firm in the IT department specifically dealing with IT development i have over 15 years of experience. I have a year +/- experience with crypto and i decided that i would like to contribute my skills and passion to something that has the potential to be big. I have always been a proponent to open source projects and enjoy the challenge associated with it. over the past 6 months or so i have made extensive connections within the crypto community and i'm sure we will have no problem getting the things mentioned above taken care of in a timely manner.
