Finally this thread is getting all cleaned up. I Love watching an exceptionally intelligent community grow in battle.  (-:

Silkcoin is the first community I have felt comfortable in and look forward to staying long term.

In theory the whitepaper is the first step in the making of cryptocurrency.  So really ya'll haven't seen nothin yet.   Cool

    And the Camel Marches On.

I dunno.. I still love this picture for some reason.
Just makes me think of camels in my wallet multiplying.

Haha Reminds me of Planet of the Apes but with Camels =p

This made me think...are one hump camels allowed to date two hump camels? ^__^

Okay, second blackmail attempt, I'm posting this so you guys know what's going on if some FUD comes our way again...

Maybe it's megaman since these are the two only extortion attempts we ever received and this is sent from a fresh new account and there's this 12 hours deadline again...

Quote from: RE:Sharecoin
I won't listen to any BS.
I lost 10 BTC in Sharexcoin. I know it was you.
Send 10 BTC to this address 1NwjxHcSntzptjwkUULcaKbG5UFpx7wRWV
Or I will post this. I want my coins back you stole.
http://www.freelancemashup.com/search/
12 hrs starting from now.
I will post automatically if the time passes.

Extortion is a serious issue what's wrong with you guys?

And once again, the white paper is coming tomorrow !

Uh... sounds like this guys account should be banned from these forums.  First he tries to extort .5 BTC, now he says he lost 10?  If i got robbed 10btc I would blackmail for 20.  Not .5.  LOL
Anyways this has to stop.  ModS?  Banning?  I'm sure extortion isn't allowed in these forums.  Not really even allowed to say fuck anymore I believe I've read so this should be a given.

Hi guys! How I can permanently remove passphrase protection from my wallet?

 Thats.  Not.  A good.  Plan..?

You can stake Silk with the wallet encrypted ya know...
Dont keep unprotected wallets man.  Thats asking for it.
1111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SilkCoin | New Wallet | NOW on MintPal / Cryptsy | FULL POS on: June 20, 2014, 12:01:36 PM
I know that post was long.  So to sum it up.

Lets try this.

1st Silk unified community action?

Post a camel pic of any type with no comment in reply to any FUD.

  Itll be fun.

I will start posting once i hit my comp.  ToR, an android and being mortally exhausted makes it currently out of me league.  I Will start tomorrow if everyone thinks its a good idea.

   Fuckin love that camel.
1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SilkCoin | New Wallet | NOW on MintPal / Cryptsy | FULL POS on: June 20, 2014, 11:54:09 AM
Slick move lowering the price a smidge before whitepaper is released.  Camel marches on.

I dunno all this premine bs.  The coins have been in the same place the whole time, and the Dev team continues to deliver.  With the amount of effort and work that has and is going into this project, it would make absolutely no sense to dump any coins at anytime. Maybe after all the features and development have been completed? But still unlikely.  It isn't logical to throw away a project like this.  While everyone else is fucking around trying to make their coin more anonymous Silk is quietly progressing with features not found in the cryptoworld.  All these stupid names that give away any credibility of being actually anonymous - darkcoin, cloakcoin.. I dunno will there be more coming out? Like LOOKatmeNSAcoin, or Targetmecoin?  or HeyImbeingshadycoin.. Dumb fucks.  But good for a ride to make some dough.  These are short term coins that will die and all a part of the fun of the markets, including the FUD that hits the forums. Like scared chickens running from lightning most traders are.

This coin is a baby, and in some pretty good cradles to grow up in (mintpal, cryptsy, bittrex).  I Still haven't sold 1 silk.  And I won't.  I Look forward to using it in the eco-system and market integrations that are coming.  Point is if you don't have the money to invest, and the intelligence to see what coin has the best possibilities for success, don't trade.  And Don't bitch about coins up 10 times their value in the month.  ha

Dev's keep up the good work, I like your style.  And I like where silk is sitting on the exchanges right now.   I've bought higher, and I've bought lower.  And I'll keep buying.

Thanks for everything and keep on keeping on.. haha Stay Calm and Buy Silk.  If I could give the community a hug or smoke a joint with ya all I would.  For now, my camel marches on.

(-:<

I really liked this post Smiley

I love you too man. Haha

It is blatently apparent that 2 or 3 guys are in here not for stupidity but for the purpose of intimidation to either drive the price down or to level the playing field for whatever shitcoin they are the devs of in fear of being eaten alive buy an insane camel trekking for silk.
The posts are filled with nothingness but are fairly eloquently put together.  It truly is well designed FUD.
I could make assumptions at who they could be, but I will leave the speculation and false accusations to them as they are good at it and seem to enjoy.  It is very easy to scare chickens and is kind of fun, so i understand.
As was the game Megaman.  I did really like that game.
All the fun posts Megaman leaves reminds me of those childhood days, enjoying simplicity on the nintendo, with a complete lack of understanding of the complexities of the world.  Ignorance is bliss, at least for a time.
Megaman is and was the epitome of simplicity.  I do enjoy your posts Megaman.  I hope youre not as simple as you sound and nintendo would be now.  If you are not intelligent as i suspect then my confidence in perception may be shattered. Please spare my ego and keep up the intelligent FUD.  Its really good.
I do love the camel, and i laugh everytime he is posted with no reply following the fairly useless attacks on Silk.   If you see FUD post the CAMEL.  Ill get into the habit of it because its fuckin hilarious.
I think the Fud has managed to make regular 1 to 200 satoshi fluctuations in silk and essentially has stabalized the market at quite a fair buying price.
The drop from 6 or 8 or whatever it got to was quite natural as silk was the highest volume on all 3 exchanges for damn near 2 or 3 days.  Im sure there was some folks that made some decent money on that and will be pleased to buy back in again low as it is for the next ride.

It truly is a shame when fud destroys a coin via the confidence of the community consequently reflecting on the confidence of the dev in all the work he put into his tiny digital dream.  To have ones dream shattered by fear, uncertainty and doubt is quite tragic and unfortunatly part of the game.
It is an oxymoron what is happening in the crypto community.. the original hype on bitcoin was for the hope of driving the FED out of destroying and controlling our lives with its deflationary currency and inflationary economy.  And now the FED is taking slow control of bitcoin on a global platform while all the innovators and communities in the alt world battle because of greed.
It is sad these bunch of chickens running around scared of the big boot of fiat and lightning crashing from the invisible hand of God.
We do need an ecosystem and ability to trade for goods outside of the realm of fiat and i hope that there can be some unification in the crypto world like how Silk shared tech with Caix.
Im hoping the exchange will be built into multiple qts and we will see more tech sharing in the future.  The crypto community needs this if there is any hope of achieving the dreams of the original bitcoiners.

I really think the camel head should be posted every fud in honor of this beautiful symbiotic relationship between troll and bridge.  Its fuckin great.
If there was value in anything they were saying, im a smart enough guy to leave behind my beloved Silk collection.   But to the contrary all the accusations are completely hollow and good for a laugh.

Everybody keep it up.  Im havin a great time. Finally found devs that produce what they say, and a community that is growing with intelligent support.  Everybody take notes on what is happening here and look forward to the future.

Relax.  Smoke a joint with your camel, and
Buy More Silk.  Life is a journey and crypto is its currency.

Hey just looking on your site, it says that you take 50% of the reload? 1 unit = a dollar and I receive .50cents minus the fee which is .45 cents?  This must be incorrect.

Let me know how the reload works.  thanks.

What is going to be done with this coin is going to be revolutionary.  Nxt currently has the asset marketplace and it is amazing, But! this is a first for a qt, and silk is wayyyy ahead of all the other coins and next generation wallets who are just clawing at ideas whereas silk is delivering them.  I'm hoping to see collaboration in marketplaces so we can all start flying under the same banner instead of fighting over who has the next best shitty coin.
The innovation is in many layers, and the development is continuing and delivered on time.  Our community is growing, and I've loved seeing silk slip down out of the limelight for a breather while the devs get ready for the next round.
Folks buy up silk while its cheap or you will regret it.

I'm happy to be apart of the community and look forward to the future.  And the laughter at the next wave of fud when silk hits the upper volumes again.  Comes with the territory.

K, getting back to my camel.  He's got lots of work to do.  (actions tab - just smoke a joint, full screen and watch him.) I love my camel. Grin

All in on Silk. Wink

silkcoin is going to head to 10000+thousands later today when the wallet comes live! Cheesy

Is it wise to get people's "hopes up" with just the wallet update? What if it backfires and people panic sell because they don't see it going up?

i see us heading to 1OOK easy when the new "legal" silk road marketplace goes live!!! ;-) *watch!*

wtf is the new "legal" silk road marketplace??

 Wink Silk is still cheap...
1117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SilkCoin | New Wallet | NOW on MintPal / Cryptsy | FULL POS on: June 16, 2014, 03:03:04 PM
Seeing the price of this coin drop like this is very painful.. We need another huge update ASAP to get this coin back on its feet, but as long as dev is active and community still active then price will rise guaranteed in the near future.

seeing price drop isn't painful, its profitable... if you know whats coming for silk  (-:
1118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SilkCoin | New Wallet | NOW on MintPal / Cryptsy | FULL POS on: June 16, 2014, 03:00:24 PM
Great coin, short time will show that...what make SilkyCoin strong, is DEV team and community...who dont like, can find other coin, we like - that is why we hold.  Smiley
Who's we? A lot of people sold when it hit 8000 and you should have done so too Wink

No you should not. Coin can go easily over 10 000 can reach even 30 000. So you just killed your long term bigger profits for a small short ones ,-)))

A lot of panic sellers sold when it hit 8000 and looks like you did too. (-;

Development enroute.. this coin aint done nothing yet! Cool

Where are the real people invested in Silkcoin that aren't part of this scam?

Evidence this is a scam.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=653509.0

What.  The.  Fuck.  Did you get hit in the head with a shovel recently?  Or where is your stupidity coming from?

Are you saying... That silkcoin is a scam because they paid a voice-over guy who did voice-overs on other failed coins???  Jesus, he's got a good VO voice and just stated he didn't do the silkcoin video.  Maybe he did maybe he didnt, who fucking cares!?

two scams, same random voice over, the next coin is yours, same voice over. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahaha

Please read carefully... This is the email I sent to Brad Ziffer (the Coinmart voice over guy), and his response...

Subject: Voice over enquiry - Coinmart, Numus, Silkcoin Projects

Hi,

I was led to your webpage through the BitcoinTalk & DigitalCoin forums where there is currently some passionate discussion about some voice-over work you have done for a couple of projects.
It would be great if you could take a couple of minutes to answer a single question in relation to some claims that are being made about these projects.

First, I am not sure if you are aware, however the Coinmart & Numus projects (referred to in the link below) appear to have been elaborate scams where investors lost money.
http://digitalcoin.co/forums/index.php?topic=988.0

No-one is claiming in any way that you knowledgeable to the intent of the scammers, only that they used your service to produce a very professional & reputable sounding video to sell the scam.

There are now claims that the Silkcoin project (links below) also used your voice, and therefore that project is also a scam.
The developers of the Silkcoin project claim to have used the VoiceBunny service of actor #2T24JCO (link below)...

So, the question is....

Did Brad Ziffer provide the voice over for this Silkcoin video Huh

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnMfLxSYVnc

If you could make a statement on this, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Steve

Email Response from Brad:

Hi Steve!

I just took a listen to the link u sent. That particular VO is not me, but I have been hired for BitCoin VO via Voices.com and Voice123 in the past.

I'm not aware of any of these things being scams. I'm simply paid upfront to read scripts and turn them over to the client. I'm not involved in any project, beyond narrating the scripts. I'm a full time VO actor... And I often wonder of the validity of the scripts I'm given.

But as I said, that Silkcoin project is not me.

Best,

Brad

This is the first time in human history that someone replied to an email a few hours after it was sent.

The lies are think and fast. Unfortunately those who still invest at this point aren't fast but are thick.

officially a scam.

Dude I reply to up to 100 emails a day, and you're a moron.
