So far mine have not staked either.
But I don't think we are in POS phase yet..?

Been buzzing Distrocoin around.. May see some articles soon.
Will post if they pop up.  Only a matter of time before a quality coin like distro will be snatched up.

dev has said POS is on. The poster above has shown a screenshot of his wallet supposedly minting. umm....at this point in time i don't believe POS is working until i see it myself...and dev does not appear keen to help address this problem as i've raised this question a few times...all of this is causing alarm bells to go off in my head!

even online wallet pos works ive heard so stop trying to create fud asshole, you are not geting more cheap coins so move on.

No this isn't FUD.  mine has been open since launch as well and hasn't staked yet.  As well as online wallet.  Not sure what this issue is.

That's not a dev as far as I know. Have pmed raxe to see what the issue is.  Wouldn't sound any alarms as of yet, these guys are pro and either working or sleeping.  Wink

Will let you know when I hear back or else Raxe please post possible issues with staking if POS is in full effect.  Thanks!

You guys are getting a lot of attention in the darkcoin/xcoin war...  drk claims x11 stole your code..

And how is darkcoin the world's first anonymous coin? It seems you have been for a long time..
1225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uncensored XC thread on: May 30, 2014, 02:42:53 AM
This thread is complete garbage and talks more about darkcoin problems then xc 's accusations of copy/pasting code...  it is a school room argument that is yet again making darkcoin look worse.  Glad I dumped all my dark when I did.  It is doomed to fail... Instead of fixing their master node issue they are making a kitchen atm?? I uh... working on appliances instead of their major fork issue?

WITH A MASSIVE PREMISE TO BOOT..

Kiddies get out of drk before its too late

Anything I need to do to start staking?

Says it is minting and expected reward in 0 seconds for a few days now.
Any ideas?
1228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DISTROCOIN X11 / POW + POS / iPHONE APP / DEBIT CARDS / WHITEPAPER on: May 29, 2014, 06:09:56 PM
Also the premine isn't getting destroyed we are going to use it to support the coin and allow continuous development, if people want these services to happen funds are needed to develop. PoS is also fully working as some have already received stakes so no PoS in the code is just completely wrong and misinformation. Bounties will be paid out shortly for those marketing.

Regards,

Raxe.

So if you really got something good going here then your prices will rise, but you premine is too Hugh, it will scare off people.

Let's say your coin makes it to 20,000 Sat (which I doubt with that 2,000,000 premine you hold) you will have 400 BTC which at current market prices (at time of writing this) would equal = $228,800.00 US dollars. Don't you think that's a little too high? I know it's doesn't take more than $50,000 for what you are currently developing.

With so much money in hand, you can easily dump your stash, I'm not saying you will but you leave no space for  re-assurance here. It would be really easy for you to just dump it slowly and run away from it all. If you want people to trust you atleast cut the premine in half, that would still leave you with over $ 110,000.00+ US funds, and I still think thats exaggerated, you would still be making a killing!. I can't imagine anyone needing a whopping $200K+ for development of your type, you are just killing the coin this way.

Stand up for your investors and show them your serious and that their investments are actually safe and worth something, Cut that premine from 2% to 0.5% - 1% and then maybe you would have something good here. The lesser the premine the more people will trust you. Until than, it looks like a big joke to many of us. Just my 2 bits.   Cool

SO, an average software developer can make 40-100k+ a year...  and you are saying that a speculative 228k is far too much for a team doing what distro is?
100000 bux is not a killing and barely the average annual salary of a talented developer.

And then expect them to dump all the coins for one measly payout of a quarter million bux?
Not sure you're seeing the big picture here...

unless this is just another attempt to drive down the price to buy cheap.. then your post would make sense haha
1229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DISTROCOIN X11 / POW + POS / iPHONE APP / DEBIT CARDS / WHITEPAPER on: May 29, 2014, 01:56:26 PM
Also is there anymore features that you guys want for the coin in terms of development we can add to the bounties list?
it's hard for me to word my idea, but could distocoin support it's own encrypted email service, like outlook, or gmail but encrypted and annonymous and also make it possible to send payments thru the email service, so say i want to buy something off someone gold or silver for an eg, you could with one click send your address details and your payment and keep it away from sticky nosed goverments? just an idea i had
I agree - messaging/wallet/miner  in one.

     Maybe data transfer too?

Also how about market evaluation built into the wallet? Ie: current prices and volumes on all exchanges
1230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DISTROCOIN X11 / POW + POS / iPHONE APP / DEBIT CARDS / WHITEPAPER on: May 29, 2014, 07:52:58 AM

1232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DISTROCOIN X11 / POW + POS / 15% INTEREST / BITTREX OPEN / WHITEPAPER on: May 28, 2014, 05:39:31 AM
This development is interesting.  I have a few questions and concerns.

1. With all due respect, why is "the developers logo (RAXE) in huge letters" the most dominant thing in this thread, and in the whitepaper?  If you were promoting "RAXE" or "RAXECoin" then sure, plaster away.  But as it stands, it is - when used to such a large and dominant degree - very distracting from the main point of the thread, which is not "RAXE", but "DistroCoin".  I believe you should have a serious think about the priorities of what is being promoted here - you??, or the coin (and it's own merits)??

2. You need to be more specific about the things you want for bounty-work. Saying "have at it, folks, whatever you think of" isn't the most effective motivator, imo. It invites community apathy. If you give people at least semi- specific things to work towards then it may attract the attention and work of specific people. What do you actually want the community to look at contributing?

3. Please report on progress with iOS wallet. Is there even a vague ETA? e.g. "probably within a month"? something else?  It's one thing to say something is coming, but another to keep the community's interest and faith that it is actually happening.

1 and 3 are valid points, More activity and updates on this thread would also promote a higher trade volume.

But you have to understand with number 2. This dev has made countless wallets and websites for other coins and has proven their coding skills and sold their skills for hire. offering bounties for specific things? that they themselves have already coded hundreds of times? or have the knowledge to do so themselves?

So for the Dev to supply any exact bounty plans wouldn't really work, anything he can think of he can code, but if anyone who supports the coin from the community wants to do something for the coin, they can msg him and likely will be paid in some form of bounty

Point taken and I agree. I withdraw my statements regarding 2.

I am still interested in 1 and 3, should anyone care to comment on them.

arteleis, I have no allegiance to any other coin nor any negative agenda here. On the contrary, I have invested in DIS and would like to see it go far. That is why I am here and asking questions I believe pertinent to it's future.  Please don't insult me Smiley

It.. seems.... I have been the troll.  Haha
I Support this coin 100%.  Troll defender supports distrocoin coin.

Yes valid points but with blatantly obvious and already posted answers.   Moving on..

  POS IS COMING!!!!

 1.   So what coin are you a device for? Lol ball buster..
sounds like a troll to me.... stop crying buddy, Yeh they have an awesome software development company that if this coin takes off everyone will know about.  Beneficial to both their coin and their company.

    2. Yeh they already have a solid development plan, if ya have any good ideas share Em. .. they are pro developers

  3. ETA? What is this a mail service? Sounds like useless trash talk to me.   I'd say about a month sounds like a fair time frame.  What would you prefer?  May 26th at 9:53 am? Be realistic ya troll

Damn good coin.
Android wallet from bittrex in under 2 minutes.

Did I read correctly?

Android and Iphone wallets that POS?

Having a strange deja-vu but I don't think this has happened yet...
1235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Most you've spent in cold hard cash on bitcoin or other altcoin? on: April 28, 2014, 08:34:09 PM
If you have invested a lot of cash, i dont think its likely that many post an accurate number. It is placing a target on your back.

Sorry you want to explain that?  Like for a hacker or spam or something?

Or kidnapping where the kidnapper does not have to risk being exposed for a money-drop.

HOLY SHIT I'M GOING TO GET KIDNAPPED FOR MY DOGECOINS!!!
1236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: gimmem break off-topic brats on: April 28, 2014, 05:31:38 AM

Yeh most this thread isnt trolling.  I think people actually think im a dev for marinecoin. Trolling is being subjective rather then objective in conversation i would think.
And yes it does look like an infomercial and is making incredible claims of citys and yachts with a bunch of rich pricks dancing with wine and fancy haircuts.. im a long haired bearded fucker who doesnt wear suits and drinks beer out of a can like real people do.
Thats not what interests me at all, pretty sure that bit should be toned down and perhaps a poor marketing plan.. haha
im am interested though in a centralized democratic cryptocurrency.  Even the possibility of one.  If the premine is used properly even crazy ideas like boats and cities is possible.
So truth scandal or scam? Scandal for sure, truth mostly so far (why i am here trying to find.out things i dont know) and scam? Havent seen any scamming so far.

I am not so sure I would say someone is trolling if they aren't completely objective, but everyone will have a different definition for a troll. I haven't seen much trolling at all in this thread. As an example, look at the past history for Spoetnik's posts, and you can see troll-like behavior. Although I will give him credit in this thread and say he has been rather reserved. I wish he posted like this more often.

As for the coin, the thing is, we really invest in the developer when we purchase a coin. Yes, of course the coin specs matter, but we need to both trust the dev and believe he will actively support the coin in a way that makes sense. So when we spend money on a coin, it's really a bet on the developer. Would you trust this dev with your money? If you say yes, it's about the same as saying you'd happily give up your money to that late night host on an infommercial. Do you believe this dev has good judgment? I don't think any sane person would say yes.

And scam is overused as a term here, although one could say the dev does appear to be somewhat shady with how he set things up. He is relying on a false market cap based on the premine and making outlandish claims. And although I believe in assuming a person is innocent, when there is a 97% premine, or whatever insane number there is, and the dev holds it in its entirely ... let's just say even I am not that trusting.

A centralized cryptocurrency is sort of the opposite of what most here believe in. There is also an outright flaw in the coin's objectives, as you can say if the premine is used properly, cities and boats and whatever is possible. But a fake market cap does not equate to actual money. There is nobody to sell the coins to, no way to turn a fake cap of millions into real money. There is  2K daily volume. Maybe the dev can buy a tent and a sailboat for his Utopia? So the flaws with such a vision is you need to have blind trust in the dev, and there needs to be an actual demand and use for the coin. In this case, there really is neither.

google search what trolling is.. being reserved or not has no bearing on it.
you don't like what i said ? well, you don't get to use it as a childish sleazly little method to sick the dogs on me and try and get me banned..
and that is precisely what happens across the net for YEARS now.. it is a method and an attack discrediting what someone says and
to get them fucked over for voicing their OPINION.

you don't like my opinion ? too fucking bad sweet-heart that's life grow the fuck up.

And hey guys maybe stfu with taking about me on every damn topic ? every thought of that ?
(say my name 3 times in a bathroom mirror with the lights off) IF YOU DARE ! muahhahaha

Sorry but i have to point out how god damn stupid a lot of you are here all the time and how you support scammy bs..
maybe don't support scummy garbage pyramid schemes and then defend them like children with their hand caught in the cookie jar.
All i get is this "No you stole cookies" retort, while i stare at you with your hand in the jar lol   ..classic  and sooo childish ... and god damn stupid as fuck !

edit:
Don't cry because i am far smarter than most of you Crypt-idiots.. just suck it up and come to terms with it.. it's happening !

I took all my 15 btc at the 300 bux and as it soared to worldwide news coverage and hit 1200 bux, i sold em all for all these new coins coming out, like anoncoin, worldcoin, megacoin, litecoin (when it was 2 bux)...  It is such a weird thing to be talking in the past tense about it like a world far behind.  But it hasn't even been a year!

It has been a great time and I only played with money I could afford to lose.  Sorta side-point to this thread.  What's the most you've spent and - did you have a good time?   Wink

I just searched the developers oldest post to find this but probably not the thread you are looking for but a simple search came up with these posts.

Maybe this person? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=223750;sa=showPosts
Or this person https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=224308;sa=showPosts
Or this one https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=224760;sa=showPosts

Or maybe these threads https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563559.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=508323.msg5609150#msg5609150

here's something I found interesting

Haha, most of people talking about MTC seems to be just new members with no (or low) activity. When you look at their posts, they only take part to MTC thread and seems to know a lot about this. Sounds really weird, same person maybe....

MTC=0.97 USD ? Fiscal Policy ? I laugh so hard I piss myself.

 - MTC did actually hit .95 cents last week

In all the other posts I don't really seem any similiarites to personality types, just similar interests from people that hadn't existed on this forum, and assumably will not return.  Not completely sure why I did.  Curiosity I suppose.

But this is a brief scan of all the posts ive made.  I'll take a better look later.  If there is anything tangible in this accusation to the dev please note it.
