Sorry if I upset anyone, I didn't mean to. The point is that the peer review would be more reliable if it was done by an independent, as someone has already offered to pay for, rather than someone who is already friends with those being reviewed and their other friends.

My thing is if code gets re-used, who cares. The game industry recycles code all the time, every variation of Linux is based off what Linus Torvald did, why even bother writing new code unless you absolutely need to. All I care about is if the product works in the end and improves upon the last.

I was invited to check the implementation of XC compared to FedoraCoin's codebase in order to find possible similarities between them.
First of all, I visited FedoraCoin's repository and checked the specific file mentioned (mixerann.cpp and the header file).
Then, I was invited to Developer's station with a Teamviewer session and saw the code that implements the specific feature.

The code is in no way similar between the two coins.
But, I believe that one must trusts his own eyes (and compiler). Just download the source code from FedoraCoin and create a working wallet that has all the features of XC enabled. That would prove whether the claim is correct or false.

Now, I do not know who claimed that Fedora and XC share the same codebase. If someone claims that some principles are the same, then I'm afraid that someone hasn't heard of Bitcoin and the blockchain concept (or the transaction concept, or the pubkey->wallet address concept, or... the list goes on forever).

No offense taken. You have a valid point to what you just said. Also, take a look at it the otherway. If you or I were best friends.. I'd ask you or a family member that knows about it to start off with. Who knows? If his next step may lead to a true peer viewer, apart from his friends or fam? No one knows. My best rule I follow is "Don't judge until its time to judge, assuming won't help the cause". But, I also see everyones opinions with open arms. We all good tho

Instead of fixing their master node issue they are making a kitchen atm?? I uh... working on appliances instead of their major fork issue?

kernel.cpp, at least, matches the badgercoin repo. main.cpp is pretty close.  Too sleepy to continue, maybe others could do some more comparisons?  (I like to look over the source compares to check for exploits in all new coins before compiling since the dafuq coin debacle...)

I'm sorry for stakeholders/bagholders on those coins, but x11coin is just another coingen coin if you mean, with just advanced features. (coingen is a website that creates alt coins for 0.1 btc, loljosh makes better alt coins for 0.4 btc)
