Dude, Ive been fighting with gox support to get a mere 2BTC (or $2000) OUT of their exchange for EIGHT weeks and your looking at putting money IN??  Think of it like a double or nothing gamble. If gox support fixes the withdrawals, then he doubles his money. If they don't, then he gets nothing. However, it's possible that even if they never fix btc withdrawal, he may be able to get the fiat back so it's actually better than double or nothing. This will not end well. |

now before anyone gets all uptight about me giving "advice" that can lose people money, this isn't advice. Its just what I believe and have believed throughout. I think gox are solvent, I think the price there is due to panic selling, I think its a good opportunity to buy. I think it will be business as usual in the next week or so. So its time for me to put my money where my mouth is. Today I am putting (fiat) money on gox and buying coins. A 40%+ discount to stamp is hard to ignore. The risk is that a lose my principal. Fiat money is pretty easy to come by though, so its not really much of a risk  Great, hopefully you will make gox liquid enough for them to pay me what they owe me. |

Gox isnt re-opening withdrawals. Theres nothing to withdraw. Any 'news' to the contrary is them buying more time. Good fucking riddance karpels...you always were a stain on bitcoin....

Gox has already tried to get me to cancel my sell order of $1000 (from 2 mths ago) and resubmit it (their excuse is Im over my withdrawal limit). As if I'd convert back to BTC then sell and resubmit to get my $$ out Gox has real issues. Just glad I withdrew 80% of my BTC holdings with them a month ago. Will never deal with them again, but then that will probably be hard to do with karpels behind bars. I always thought he was a shady prick. GOXXED |
